This activity is recommended for people of all ages from the age of 14 where they will experience sliding in the waves of Playa de Las Americas where you will live an unforgettable experience. The activity is 2 hours and includes all the necessary equipment such as surfboard, neoprene, escarpments and lycra where you will start with a theory of 20 minutes where we will explain the basics of surfing , techniques to be able to enjoy with our first waves. The beach where we will surf in volcanic rock where the waves are perfect for beginners and advanced. Inside the sea they will always be guided by an experienced instructor and must follow his directions , at the end of the class will be stretched to prevent any injury and comment on how the experience has been. The basic course is aimed at all those who have never tried before and at the same time for those who have already had a very short experience of a few days and want to improve the bases necessary to move to the next level. The requirements are: being in good general health, knowing how to swim and a minimum age of 6 years. The aim of the course is to surf the first foam waves independently and safely and to learn basic theoretical and practical knowledge such as positioning on the board, paddling, take-off, weather-marine knowledge, how to overcome the waves, how to spin on foams, weight management and more! Within this course, we follow small groups of up to 6 students for each instructor so that all students can be followed with the utmost care and in complete safety. The course lasts about 4 hours, including transport times, and the practical part in the water will be about 1.5 / 2 hours.

Master the foundations of surfing—and hit the waves of Playa del Inglés—during this half-day, small-group surfing lesson.
