Overview

Learn to surf without the hassle of organizing surfboard and wetsuit rental with this beginner’s lesson in Famara. No experience is required and all necessary equipment is provided for extra convenience. After meeting the instructor for a safety briefing, learn to surf step-by-step—starting with a warm-up and exercises on the beach. After building up confidence, the lesson progresses to paddling and stand-up techniques in the water.

Great first time surfing lesson for teen son

Our son had an incredible experience with Mariano and said he deserves a 5-star review. He explained the surfing basics so he could easily understand and implement the techniques and gave him confidence in the water. Great experience! I was quite apprehensive beforehand as I had never tried surfing, but the teachers put us quickly at ease. Very relaxed, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Didn’t expect at all to manage to stand up 5 times in my first class :) Famara beach is incredibly beautiful and now I want to come back for a proper surf camp!

This was by far my favorite thing I did on my trip to Lanzarote. The instructors (shout out humberto) were all SO kind and made it such a welcoming environment— even to me, who had never touched a surfboard in her life. Would love to come back!!

Great instructor majestic beach everyone had a memorable day on the waves. We did the 2hr lesson it was plenty long for adult over 50. Youngsters might prefer 4hr.

Ich war mit meinen drei Teenagern beim Kurs dabei - für uns alle die erste Surferfahrung überhaupt. Wir waren total begeistert und hatten sehr viel Spass dabei! Borge war ein wunderbarer Coach: super kompetent, motivierend und nett. Man hätte spontan auch upgraden können auf vier Stunden. Wenn wir den Nachmittag nicht schon anderweitig verplant gehabt hätten, wären wir gerne noch geblieben.
