Introduce your teenagers under 14 to surfing with this engaging two-hour, small-group lesson in Playa de Las Americas. With all equipment provided, including a surfboard and wetsuit, they'll learn the basics from an experienced instructor while gaining confidence in the water. It's a fun holiday activity that gives them the skills to keep practising beyond the lesson. Choose from various timings throughout the day.

- If the maximum number of students is not reached, you can opt for a private lesson with an extra payment of 35€; if there are only 2 people in total in the group booking, only an extra amount of 20€ per person will be charged to be able to hold a semi-private lesson
- Experience the best surfing experience in Playa de Las Americas with Ocean Life Surf School. We offer private, group lessons and spectacular sunrise and sunset sessions designed to guarantee you the best waves and premium coaching. Schedules can vary for safety, tides and optimal conditions, always adjusted to give you the perfect session. Sunrise, Sunset and group classes require a minimum of 3–5 surfers. To book instructors in Polish, Russian, French or Italian, it is necessary to do so 48 hours in advance. Our Polish instructor, Thor, is available only on Sundays and Mondays. Reservations made after 18:00 require confirmation from our team. You will receive a message when your booking is processed. If you do not receive it, contact us at oceanlifetenerife@gmail.com or WhatsApp. All reservations require prior confirmation to ensure availability and the best sea conditions.

- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class time to register and prepare. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you will forfeit your reservation without refund. What to wear We recommend bringing a swimsuit and towel. Surfing can be physically demanding. Please make sure you are in good health and comfortable on the water. Safety comes first Your safety is our priority. Please listen carefully to all safety instructions and follow your instructor’s instructions at all times. Parking Parking is limited near the surf school. We recommend arriving with extra time to find parking, especially during high seasons. Health restrictions Not recommended for travelers with back problems Not recommended for pregnant women Not recommended for travelers with heart problems1 or other serious medical problems Not smoking or drinking alcohol Level of difficulty Most travelers can participate in this experience.

We had an amazing experience. From check-in to equipment to early instruction, it was absolutely perfect. Our instructor Jaime was very encouraging, quick with helpful corrections, and ultimately helped us catch a bunch of waves. I couldn’t recommend this experience more.

This was such an amazing experience! Our instructor, who went by the nickname of Thor, was truly phenomenal. Before our lesson, he contacted us and coordinated the best time and location for our needs based on Tenerife’s ever-changing weather and our changing itinerary. Once at the surf lesson, he gave us wet suits, shirts, towels, a shower, a changing facility, and a locker to use. He showed us how to carry the surfboards and taught us safety tips as we walked to the beach. At the beach, we practiced in the sand before getting in the water. He prioritized our safety, and gave us specific feedback each time we tried so we could work on our skills and weak areas. Thor is a caring teacher who is truly passionate about his sport and his work. He was also respectful, kind, and encouraging! Plus, Thor shared fun stories and anecdotes along the lesson to keep us entertained and help us feel connected! I could not recommend this more. Hilight of our vacation.
