Seven stops, one Secret Dish, and enough Pacific seafood, heritage chocolate and barbecue pork to skip lunch: this is how Victoria eats, on foot, in three hours. The route links two neighbourhoods most visitors never connect on their own, Old Town, built on 1858 gold rush money, and Canada's oldest Chinatown, settled after it. Guests start at a takeaway window on the causeway for seafood chowder eaten standing up (a South Indian dosa replaces it October to March, when the window closes for the season), then move through Old Town for an oil and balsamic tasting, dark chocolate cream from an 1880s chocolatier, and a Fort Street bakery item that changes with the day. Relaxing, beautiful tour

Our tour started out rocky, with an angry person before we even got on the bus. Luckily, our tour guide, Bob, listened and quickly diffused the situation (even though it had nothing to do with the actual tour). Note - If your pickup spot is Coast Calgary, and you aren't staying at the hotel, they will not let you use hotel services/facilities. That is noted in the tour information. Once we got going, it was a lovely tour. We had a bus full of people from various countries. We really had a good group of interesting/nice people. We enjoyed them all. The drive is nice, lots of beautiful scenery, and Bob shared many good stories and pointed out various locations. Bob also gave clear precise and repeated instructions at stops about where to go for the best view, where to be, and when to be back. Such a low stress, and relaxing way to see some very popular spots in the Banff area. The time allocated for each stop was just right. It was cloudy, cool, and still so beautiful it will take your breath. We have a ton of pictures, but we'll let you enjoy your own!

Canadian Rocky Experiences

Heavy clouds while on the visit but like the weather, the views were constantly changing as the clouds and sun rays moved around, creating spectacular views in all directions. The snow during the night made it even more beautiful. Service was great, along with the food and coffee shop experience. Enjoyed the visual options on Floor 2. Bus ride #1 was great experience as well. A must see area and experience for sure

We ended up having a semi...

We ended up having a semi private tour in an 11 passenger coach which was excellent. Salim was very accommodating and went above and beyond our expectations by having our tickets ready, driving us right up to the drop-off doors and keeping us entertained along the way. Tours were both excellent. Highly recommend doing both the boat tour and behind the falls tour for the full experience.

The tour & our guide Emery was amazing! The views were phenomenal and it even included a shuttle from Toronto. We got to do behind the falls and the boat experience in a small group. We didn’t feel rushed at all and we also got to ask questions throughout.

Great day with Sam & Sam on the Sam

We did an amazing boat cruise on the Maligne River to Spirit Island. Our guide, Sam, was knowledgeable & witty. Our Captain, Sam, was great at maneuvering the boat & was also entertaining. Our heat enclosed boat was also named Sam! Up to six people at one time were able to stand outside at the back of the boat. The boat ride was very scenic but the mountain views at the 15 minute stopover at Spirit Island were STUNNING!

It’s long but worth it!

This is a great tour and the Butchart Gardens and Victoria are wonderful. However, the day is extremely long. We were picked up at 7:45 and returned at 10 pm.Simon was full of stories and information. The Gardens are a national historic site and Victoria is the capital of BC. Big bus, lots of roads. Many chances to grab snacks and a meal in Victoria on the harbor. We were there in September, so bring layers for changes throughout the day! Kudos to Simon for getting everyone safely down the bus steps.

Amazing Trip

This tour has a large boat and very spacious. Captain Sean and First Mate Stephen made sure we saw whales. Naturalists Dawson, Fox and Tobin were full of information! This was a fantastic trip. The 3pm trip in September allows for a low sun in the sky and a lot of spouts. At one point we were right near 6 humpback whales. I picked this boat since I am prone to Sea Sickness. After taking Bonine I did not even feel queezy and we were warned about rough waters.

Very informative and pleasant dliw walk down to the boat with some interesting snippets about the niagra history. Boat was great fun and very wet. The only issue was the meeting point and although there is a location given that was easy to find, it still would have been nice if there was a sign there to be sure it was the right place.

Two thumbs up for Banff Explorer's Guide, Red!

A relative inexpensive way to visit two incredible scenic places that would be difficult in any other way! Red is an amazing tour guide! Safety is paramount to him, in his driving, and for us as passengers in the bus and while we were out seeing the sights! He has a great sense of humor and is very conscientious and accommodating with his passengers. We traveled with our adult autistic son and Red was so good with engaging with him! He also quickly learned and used the names of at least one person in each group! We are very satisfied with our experience!
