What are people saying about Bulgaria

Amazing tour outside of the city amidst the beautiful forests and mountains of Bulgaria.
It is a medium to hard hike depending on your experience. Just take your time and go with a guide. They will choose the best trails and know when to turn back to make the bus schedule on time. Plus they are knowledgeable about any questions you may have.

Lovely day trip to Plodiv
We met up with tour bus at 08:15 for the on time departure at 08:30. There were around 40-50 people in the fully packed bus. After around 2 hours we arrived in Plodiv and were divided into English, Spanish and Italian groups for the tour. Do note that there will be limited toilet stops during the 2-hour tour so please use the restrooms in the mid-stop before Plodiv and at any restaurants or bars you see along the way. It was a very hot day so do prepare hat, umbrella and sunscreen as there is limited cover during the walking tour. We were then given 2.5 hours free time to wander around the old town of Plodiv before the 2 hours 15 minutes drive back to Bucharest. Toilet stop is on request during this trip. We were back on time at 5:30pm. Everything was very smooth for our trip.

Stunning Caves and Waterfalls
This tour was amazing. We even got to stop by the God's Eyes cave since a few people didn't show up and we had a smaller group. The caves and water falls were absolutely stunning, and the town of Loevech has a beautiful viewpoint and some very medieval feeling streets which was very cool. Our guide Lubo was very knowledgeable and flexible, he let us hangout at sites as long as we wanted so we could take extra pictures. I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour
Nis is interesting and I enjoyed this tour. Our guide Lubo was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. After a previous accident, I'm not a fan of motorways and the speed limits in Bulgaria are higher than what I'm used to but Lubo was a great driver and I felt very safe in his car. We had long queues at the borders but he kept us in good spirits.
I would avoid this tour during the summer holidays as I believe the border queues are rediculous.

First rate - worth every euro!
Our guide Pavel (Pablo) was excellent: I learned so much from him. He was thoroughly well prepared and he shared a deep and passionate knowledge and understanding of the history and culture not only of the sites we visited but of Bulgaria as a whole. The monastery at Rila is astounding and Pavel explained it all from the unique and colourful frescoes to the origin and the development of the whole institution. If you don't go on any other tours you should certainly go on this one.

Great Experience and would highly recommend if you are looking for some relaxation.
Company was very good with their communication prior to the tour started. For someone who came over 6k miles to Bulgaria, this is important. Ivan was a great tour guide. The Monastery was beautiful and it was such a scenic drive while Ivan gave us some background information about Bulgaria. Thermal pools were my favorite. They were perfect and very relaxing. There were no crowds so I could easily enjoy with relaxation. The amount of time we spent there was perfect (3 hours). We made it back to Sofia at about 5:50pm which also allowed me to attend the 6pm free walking tour.

Great day. We went to...
Great day. We went to Boyana Church and Rila Monastery, both of which were beautiful. I definitely recommend bringing snacks or a meal with you, as there was not an opportunity to buy food until after 3 pm, though the bakery was delicious once we got there. Hristo was a great tour guide.

100% worth it
A fantastic experience that is 100% worth doing whilst visiting Sofia.
Phillip was a great guide, informative and kept in touch with us throughout the day.
The hike itself is incredible, the views are breathtaking but the walk is definitely moderate if you are not an experienced hiker. There is an option to do a much easier route but we chose the circular route which we found harder than we expected. We found the snow was still quite thick in places so make sure you have sensible shoes on and consider buying sticks at the bottom of the chair lift to aid you! Phillip messaged us the night before with everything we needed to know, including the correct gear to bring which was super helpful!
The lakes are beautiful and should absolutely be on your bucket list!
The Rila Monastery was a lovely way to end the day and again, worth a visit.
The coach was clean and had air conditioning.

All praise to our guide...
All praise to our guide Kiko who was so energetic and informative and drove us a long way so we had an opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Skope.
It was such an interesting place and special to view the birthplace of Mother Teresa and be in awe of the giant statue of Alexander the Great.
The bazaars are exciting to see and they certainly imbue the ambience and authenticity of this area.

This day trip proved...
This day trip proved excellent value during our week in Sofia. Our guide Nina was so competent, warm and friendly and simply a wealth of knowledge with regards The Old Town of Plovdiv and Bulgaria in general.
Fascinating houses and history.
The ancient architectural structures were extraordinary and filled with wonder.
I certainly recommend this experience to anyone with a keen interest in their current vicinity and history in general.

Peter was great, took us...
Peter was great, took us to delicious spots with lots of food, and was able to accommodate to everyone. He was passionate and you could tell how much he enjoyed what he did as well. He knew the history of the area well and gave good recommendations for the rest of the trip

I Recommend This Reputable Company!
I had booked this the night before. I received a call that it was overbooked due to site glitch. They offered me another tour that went to one of these caves, waterfalls, and city of Lovech. I really wanted to see Eyes of God, and they accommodated that on the trip.
I was picked up five minutes early by Ivan. Two couples from Malta were on the trip as well. It was raining, and we went to Devetashka cave first. Didn’t know Conan the Barbarian and Expendables movie filmed here. Next was Krushuna waterfalls. Next was Lovech where we had lunch and went up to see the fortress. Last was the Eyes of God cave. It was an hour drive.
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and glad it turned out the way it did. Kudos to the company as well as Ivan! He spoke very good English. We made stops along the way for restroom breaks. Ivan certainly knows the country’s history. I was happy that the company communicated instead of me finding out the next day. Definitely recommend!
