A fantastic day trip from...
A fantastic day trip from Plovdiv and a great way to discover another side of Bulgaria. The Wonderful Bridges, Bachkovo Monastery and Asen’s Fortress were all impressive, and having a private guide made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. The Bulgarian lunch was a real highlight — delicious, authentic and the perfect addition to a day of sightseeing. A wonderful mix of nature, history, culture and great food. Highly recommended!

Soak in the history
Expect a long day, especially in hot summer months and lots of walking, ascending/ descending stone steps, but worth it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Satisfied
We were a group of six from different nationalities. Had a very knowledgeable guide, Rosen, who was very kind and efficient, besides a great driver. I think it was very worth!

Excellent Way to see Sites Outside Plovdiv
This was a great tour. We got picked up right outside our apartment, and it ended up being a private tour. Our guide Ekran was very knowledgeable about both the the sites that we saw as well as general history about Bulgaria, so the tour was very informative. He was very flexible in the itinerary and made sure that we spent as much or as little time at the sites as we wanted to. I highly recommend this tour, and if you can get Ekran as your guide, bonus points!
