Walking tour from...
Walking tour from Patriarchal Cathedral to Revolution square tracked communism from the start to revolution in Bucharest. Tour guide, Silvia, was very passionate about sharing this information. She had historical photos and lots of information to help us understand the historical and lingering impacts of communism.

Outstanding Tour with Lucia
Our tour with Lucia was truly exceptional. She was incredibly lovely and friendly, and her depth of knowledge was very impressive. Her passion really brought the city and its history to life, making the experience both engaging and memorable. She also shared some great additional recommendations, which we really appreciated. It was a fantastic overview of the city, and without a doubt, Lucia is one of the best tour guides we’ve had. Highly recommended!

Salt mine with guided tour
Our guide was called Rodica who was like a walking Wikipedia of information about Romanian history and lore. She was personable and extremely knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the bus ride and also the visit to the slanic Salt Mine. A most enjoyable day out!!

Great Experience.
After a discussion with our guide Beatrice we had already done Constanta and the Black Sea on the cruise ship we had just left and being extremely creative Beatrice decided we should see some of the mountains. She took us to Snow Island and to Peles Castle (?) which we absolutely loved. We had a delicious meal in a local restaurant which she highly recommended and saw the monastery’s which we found very interesting. We found that Beatrice’s knowledge of the area and Bucharest was extensive, she was delightful company and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day in her company. I could not recommend her more highly.

Bucharest is a vibrant capital that boasts lively neighborhoods, grand architecture, and a strong connection to Romanian history and folklore. Bucharest day trips often take you beyond the city, with guided tours to landmarks such as Bran Castle—also known as Dracula’s Castle—and the medieval town of Brașov. Other options include food and wine tastings, pub crawls through the Old Town, or day hikes in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. Considering the depth of culture and nature you’ll find in and outside of Bucharest, these tours are not to be missed.
