Best Tour in Bogota

It is the most complete tour, I had being in Bogota a few times, but this time we came with my son and daughter, and it was much better than other tours Diego was great! Diego was very cordial and attentive, consistently providing just the right information—covering everything from history and culture to food. He was also incredibly patient, allowing us to stop and browse for souvenirs and snacks at unplanned stops. Furthermore, he extended the tour by another 45 minutes to ensure we got the absolute most out of the experience, even adding several other fascinating stops that were not originally included in the itinerary.

Guatavita and Zipaquira at their fullest

This tour was amazing! You get to experience Guatavita lake and hear the natives stories, their cultural practices and language. You also get to hear about the legend of el Dorado. The salt cathedral in Zipaquira was super impressive! Just make sure you manage the time wisely to get to see everything! Our guide Mr Carlos was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

What an amazing tour of Bogota, exceeded all my expectations. The views at the top of cable car were magnificent and breathtaking. Tour guide was brilliant, organised pick up and drop off to the airport and tailored the trip to our needs so we could have a stopover at the specific restaurant to eat. Bodyguard was also great and ensured our safety very well. The best choice for a stopover in Bogota!

You will get your hands dirty

What a great and unique experience! We were met on time and got a bit of history and info on the Emerald trade in Columbia as well as the importance of the stones in their traditional culture. After a short walk we arrived at the workshop and got busy designing and making our rings. When they say make, they mean it. Melt the silver, roll the bar out flat, create the circle, solder the ring closed, polish the ring, set the stone and polish the final product. At every step you are doing the work with guidance and coaching. I was skeptical, when I signed up for this experience, that I would be dying much more than choosing a design and watch/"helping" with to creation. I was completly wrong and loved the experience. I would do this again if I were in the area on a future trip.

If you are LUCKY ENOUGH to get Sergio and Jesus as your guides you are guaranteed the most WONDERFUL tour! Sergio is HILARIOUS and his energy is contagious! He made the 12hr trip seem SHORT! the locations were also phenomenal and our guides were insanely knowledgeable about every detail! I cannot recommend this enough!!

Andes Mountains Horseback Riding - Half Day

Three amazing hours in the mountains

I booked the tour with Andes Eco Tours (via Viatour), and everything was well organized from the beginning. I was picked up directly from my hotel in Bogotá and driven to La Calera, which made the whole experience very easy and comfortable. When I arrived, the horses were already prepared and ready. We started the ride right away, and the tour lasted about 3 hours with breathtaking viewpoints almost the entire way. There were plenty of opportunities for nice galloping, which made the ride especially fun and exciting. My guide Diego was very friendly and informative, sharing a lot about the area, nature, and local plants throughout the ride, which made the experience even more interesting. I felt safe and comfortable during the trip, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. It was a fantastic way to experience the mountains just outside the city. A big thank you to Diego and the owner Andes for a great experience - highly recommended for anyone visiting Bogotá and wanting a memorable horseback adventure!

David was an excellent...

David was an excellent guide and the whole trip went smoothly. Very interesting and worth it, but the tour company’s van had zero shock absorbers and since Bogota roads have serious ruts and pot holes, the drive was extremely uncomfortable. I would not choose this tour provider except they acquire some new-ish vehicles.

I had Beatriz as my guide. We had a 6-hour tour during which she took me to the essential landmarks and through 2 museums. She was very knowledgeable, and I was able to get a taste for Bogota during my brief stay. I highly recommend this tour if you are short on time.

Well organised tour for the Salt Cathdral

It takes about an hour to pick people up from different hotels and about another hour to get to the Salt mine and Salt cathedral. 2.5 hours inside is more than enough time to see everything. The late lunch was at a BBQ restaurant with good grilled pork and beef - also some vegetarian choices. There is a small amount of time for sightseeing in Zipaqueria at the end before going back to Bogota.

I recently took the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral tour, and it was truly unforgettable. The pickup was perfectly on time, the transportation was comfortable, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. Our guide, Jhon, made the entire experience even better. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Jhon explained the history and cultural background of every part of the cathedral in a clear and engaging way, and he always made sure the group felt comfortable and taken care of. The Salt Cathedral itself is breathtaking, but having someone like Jhon to guide you through it really brings the whole place to life. I felt like I learned so much and enjoyed every moment. I 100% recommend this tour, and if you can, definitely ask for Jhon as your guide. An absolute must-do while visiting Bogotá!
