What are people saying about Bogotá

Great Adventure but be ready for it
This includes a moderately aggressive climb up a rugged but well maintained rock path. Good hiking shoes are a plus. There is a lot of driving time, some highway but some on poor mountain roads.
Unless you are an adventurous eater pack your own lunch.
The Salt Cathedral is stunning. Be prepared to walk in a fairly low light environment.
Bring a reusable water bottle - the National Parks frown on disposable plastic because, sadly, tourists are slobs and will litter the magnificent mountainside with trash!

Great time!
Had a great time! Our guide, Ricardo, was super sweet and very informative, I really enjoyed chatting with him
I would consider this a medium hike, leaning towards hard when it's wet or raining. Take your time and plenty of breaks, especially if you're not used to walking at high altitudes (I live on sea level, so my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest!)
Beautiful views, and the trek felt very rewarding. Would not recommend to anyone with heart or breathing issues,

Amazing tour of Colombia's food
This food tour was amazing. We tried food from 7 different restaurants, representing food from all over Colombia. Our tour guide Lorena was really knowledgeable and went out of her way to take us even to extra destinations on the route. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bogotá.

Fabulous tour
This tour was good value and gave us all a very good insight into Bogota. Daniel Gomez was our tour guide who was very passionate and knowledgeable about his country. After a prompt pick up we were driven to the cable car station, visited Montserrat, views of Bogota were great. Then returned to the most historical area Calendario to start the city tour.

So great to have stress-free post-flight transportation!!
We loved our experience; Pedro our driver was communicative and on time, found us right away at the gate, and we had a comfortable, worry-free ride to our location in La Candelaria! I highly recommend this service to avoid post-flight transportation stress or overwhelm in a new city! Thank you so much!

Great Tour & Entertaining Informed Guide
It was fabulous! Our guide spoke English well & knew the neighborhoods! I came away knowing how to find my way thru Candelaria & adjacent neighborhoods. She shared info about the culture as we strolled thru all of it. Myra is an excellent guide well versed in the culture of Bogota.

Bogatá Bike Tour
Fantastic bike tour around Bogatá. David our guide and Manuel our mechanic were great. Super knowledgeable and David was one of the street artists and we saw some of his work. The fruit market tasting and coffee stop trip were great and when we got back to the bike shop we all had a beer and played the local game Tejo. It was the tour that kept on giving, thank you.

David was an excellent...
David was an excellent guide and the whole trip went smoothly. Very interesting and worth it, but the tour company’s van had zero shock absorbers and since Bogota roads have serious ruts and pot holes, the drive was extremely uncomfortable. I would not choose this tour provider except they acquire some new-ish vehicles.

Incredible tour and guide
Juanfe and Will did everything right! Juanfe explains incredibly good in Spanish and English and he gave us always the best data from the place and directions in order to enjoy the Zipaquira tour.
The place were we ate was really good (they even serve big plates that can be shared to more than one people) and the coffee they take us was great.

Incredible experience you shouldn't miss!
I cannot speak highly enough of this experience. The pickup point is a really beautiful hostal in the middle of La Candelaria which is very tourist friendly and safe (and they serve great coffee). Our guide Liz picked us up from there and we got in a 20 person van with our driver Jorge to start our excursion. The ride up the mountain was gorgeous and Liz did a great job telling us all about the city, the mountain and the flora and fauna that drastically changes as we go up the mountain and come down the other side. When we arrived to La Campesina we were welcomed by the owner and her "security" team which are the cutest and friendliest dog group. They don't bark and won't approach you if you don't want to but if you do, they are the sweetest. We had a delicious local breakfast and started with the tour. The farm is an agroecologic operation run by women and Karen was our farm guide. We learned all from how they make the different types of fertilizer to how they grow the plants, the harvest process, the differences between the types of coffee plants and how the coffee cherries are turned into the delicious coffee beans we know. Since we visited during harvest season we even got to pick our own baskets of coffee cherries which was super fun, especially with the gorgeous view from the farm. Then we got to learn all about the different types of brewing and how to recognize good coffee from bad one finishing with a delicious tasting of course. We ended the tour with a delicious ajiaco lunch and headed back to the city. This is truly an experience no one should miss while visiting Bogotá. 10/10 in every aspect!

Safe, reliable driver who waited for us
Immediately after booking, we received communication from our driver, Luis Felipe with all details of our pick up. He left no room for misshapen; from sending a picture of himself for successful identification, a picture of how my name would be displayed on a tablet (in a distinctive and colorful way), meeting point, etc.
Line at Customs was incredibly long and he waited all this time for no extra charge. It was raining so he not only escorted us from the arrival hall to the airport exit but picked up the car and then came back to retrieve us (more of his time spent only to keep us comfortable and dry).
Traffic from the airport to the hotel was horrible but I practically dozed all the way while my husband received a full hour lecture on Colombia and Bogota history and cultural makeup. All in a safe, comfortable and clean car. Great value too.
