So great to have stress-free post-flight transportation!!
We loved our experience; Pedro our driver was communicative and on time, found us right away at the gate, and we had a comfortable, worry-free ride to our location in La Candelaria! I highly recommend this service to avoid post-flight transportation stress or overwhelm in a new city! Thank you so much!

A Must Do To Better Appreciate Bogotá
This was a perfect way to start our stay in Bogotá! As many reviews mentioned, Andres is a wonderful guide, keeping us well cared for & energized.
When I was booking I had a couple of questions that weren’t answered in other reviews so I’m including our personal answers here for the next person. Namely: is the walk too strenuous if you’re concerned about adapting to the altitude? & is the day after you land too soon to do this? We had an altitude change of nearly 8000 ft the afternoon before the tour and didn’t struggle with it at all. It’s a relatively easy walk with the minimal amount of slopes and stairs nicely spaced out. The pace is very casual. If you’re also concerned about strenuous activity the day after you land, it may not be an issue as it wasn’t for us.
The tour itself was so fun! It’s a whole day activity. We loved our small group, learning about the history of the country & city & of course eating & drinking delicious things. Thank you for a lovely day, Andres! We know it has already & will continue to deepen our appreciation of Colombia.

The Best Bogota Private Tour!
I recently spent an unforgettable day exploring Bogotá with Gran Colombia Tours, and it was easily one of the highlights of my entire trip. My guide, Camilo, was nothing short of exceptional — a true ambassador of Colombia whose passion for his country shines through in every story, every explanation, and every moment he shares.
Over the course of seven hours, Camilo brought Bogotá to life. From the breathtaking views atop Monserrate to the colorful streets of La Candelaria, he wove together history, culture, humor, and insight in a way that made every stop feel meaningful. His knowledge of the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum, and the Basilica Primada was deep and engaging, and he had a gift for connecting Colombia’s past with its present.
Our driver, Oscar, was also wonderful — kind, attentive, and always making sure we were comfortable and safe. Together, they created a seamless experience that felt both personal and expertly organized.
The coffee and fruit tasting, the walk through Chorro de Quevedo, the art, the stories, the flavors — it all added up to a day I’ll never forget. If you want a tour that goes beyond sightseeing and truly immerses you in the heart of Colombia, ask for Camilo. He represents his country with pride, warmth, and genuine love.

Get a quick jump on your vacation, Immerse yourself in Bogotá during your layover
Bogotá, Colombia, is a rich, fascinating, and great city. There is much to see in a compact area! We started with a tram ride to the top of Monserrate (over 10,000 feet) and finished with museum tours in the center of the old town. My guide, GIGIO, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show many cultural sites and connect them with Colombia's history, both past and present. The entire experience left me with the desire to revisit Bogota and vacation in South America. Well worth the cost, and it was stress-free. Well done Viator and GIGIO

Wonderful trip
The salt Cathedral is a good place to visit. It's a group bus tour starting from Bogota. The driver and the guide was polite. The guide was able to communicate well in English. Had a good time in the Cathedral, Zipaquira city centre and had good Columbian food in the restaurant(own expense). Also tasted Columbian coffee(included in the tour). Booked this tour only a day before my trip but the response was good.

Day tour in Bogata
★★★★★
Had an excellent experience on the Historic Candelaria tour in Bogotá. Juan was an outstanding guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. He made the tour feel personal and interactive instead of just a scripted walk.
The mix of history, architecture, street art, and local insights gave a real feel for Bogotá and La Candelaria. Juan also answered questions thoroughly and kept the group entertained the entire time.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bogotá and wanting a deeper understanding of the city. Definitely a 5-star experience.

Great Tour & Entertaining Informed Guide
It was fabulous! Our guide spoke English well & knew the neighborhoods! I came away knowing how to find my way thru Candelaria & adjacent neighborhoods. She shared info about the culture as we strolled thru all of it. Myra is an excellent guide well versed in the culture of Bogota.

Daniel’s review
Daniel is out of this world!!!! Super great and natural with his tour guidance. Informative lesson and his English is great and easy to comprehend. He made us feel like we are missing something from Columbia and we definitely have to come back for more.. There is such good history here and we will be back to explore it, all thanks to Daniel.

The hike to La Chorrera...
The hike to La Chorrera was such a great experience. The views along the way are absolutely beautiful, and while some parts of the trail are a bit challenging, it’s completely manageable and 100% worth it in the end. Reaching the waterfall is really special, it’s stunning and makes the whole hike feel even more rewarding.
The food before and afterwards was also really nice, which was a perfect addition to the hike.
A special mention to our guide, Andrea, who was amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the hike. She kept a good pace for the group and was always checking in, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hike!

Incredible food tour of Bogota!
I absolutely loved this food tour! I had an afternoon free to myself before meeting up with others for work, and booked this tour. Veronica was so kind, fun, full of fantastic facts and insight about the food and the city, and even showed me some related things along the way that she thought I would enjoy based on my feedback and reactions during the tour. My fave was the ajiaco soup, and the ceviche. It's an easy walking tour, but for those who live closer to sea level like I do, it's good to remember that Bogota is at a higher elevation so make sure you try to acclimate to the altitude beforehand, and bring water. With this tour, you get some great history, a good overview of La Candelaria area, and some fun local food.

Safe, reliable driver who waited for us
Immediately after booking, we received communication from our driver, Luis Felipe with all details of our pick up. He left no room for misshapen; from sending a picture of himself for successful identification, a picture of how my name would be displayed on a tablet (in a distinctive and colorful way), meeting point, etc.
Line at Customs was incredibly long and he waited all this time for no extra charge. It was raining so he not only escorted us from the arrival hall to the airport exit but picked up the car and then came back to retrieve us (more of his time spent only to keep us comfortable and dry).
Traffic from the airport to the hotel was horrible but I practically dozed all the way while my husband received a full hour lecture on Colombia and Bogota history and cultural makeup. All in a safe, comfortable and clean car. Great value too.

Great night hosted by...
Great night hosted by Lina, met in first bar and tried some beers and shots, there was 5 of us in total, I was with my friend but two of the group where solo travellers. We then went to another bar which was fun before going to a couple of clubs, great night with great company, would recommend for anyone visiting Bogotá.
