Great trip you need to take!

Great trip, Lotus is a terrifc tour guide. Was able to spend as much time as we wanted at the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Also has a Tea Celebration at tea house, which was a terrific surprise that was included. Great way to see some amazing sights.

Trip with extended family

Great experience! Sarted with a seamless pickup in the morning from our hotel. From there, our guide Christina and driver Tong took us on a whirlwind trip, seeing the highlights of the Beijing area. A few things to note: - We had a mixed group, with grandparents, parents and four kids ranging from 8 - 15. The tour did a great job engaging all of these ages - Christina was knowledgeable and she spoke amazing English. Her command of the language extended to telling jokes, which brought a smile to all of our faces - They were great accommodating some special requests, such as dropping us off at the airport after the tour for an evening flight. Also - they handled a passport issue we had (wrong number) without any difficulties - Meals were very good and stress free. Instead of us having to navigate and try to order the tour had orders placed for us and the food arrived within moments of us sitting down - They provided plenty of water and made sure we were taken care Overall - highly recommend the tour, worked wonderfully for our group during our short time in Beijing.

Shortly after i booked this tour, i received communications from the tour operator about documents needed to complete booking. My questions about the tour was also met with prompt responses. Communication from our tour guide as to when/where we were met was received a day before the tour. Our English speaking tour guide Mina Li was very knowledgeable and maneuvered us thru the Forbidden city and Heavenly palace smoothly. Having a private tour guide was great. We learned so much on this tour. . I would definitely book through Viators again… the guides and drivers used were top notch….Thank you for a worry free tour!

Informative Walking Tour Amazing Place

Our guide Rita was wonderful. Her English was very good and she provided so many historic facts it really enriched the tour. The day was hot and she guided us to the few shady spots when she was going to be speaking for more than a few minutes. Great job! Would highly recommend!!!! For people reading this if it is a summer day please come prepared. The sun is strong and the majority of the Forbidden City is paved adding to the heat. There are water breaks but sun gear is needed.

Hassle free Great Wall experience

The private tour was awesome!!! Pick up at our hotel was so convenient and our guide Linda Shi was very helpful and knowledgeable. She called ahead so our driver was able to drive straight to the cable car area skipping long lines. She and the driver did a wonderful job and steered us to a fabulous tea ceremony and non tourist local place for lunch after the Great Wall. At first I hesitated paying for a private tour/driver instead of just going by bus but it was worth it! Would highly recommend!

Amazing sunset, almost no tourist, Jackie was great

Jackie was really kind, the driving was smooth and efficient! We were almost alone during the entire hike, we saw about 20 tourists total (perfect for pictures) The itinerary was perfect and we really felt like it was authentic! Jackie was waiting for us at the meet-up location for the sunset and we were the only person there!

Best place to see the Great Wall, and the Gubei water town was a special treat!

We had such a great experience! Our tour guide Allen was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about so many things about China and the wall. Both parts of the wall were very special and visiting the Gubei water town was also amazing at night. It’s worth the longer drive to see these two parts of wall. It was not not crowded at all. In parts of it we were the only one in that section! The dinner was also so tasty! My thanks to Allen and the driver so such a special private tour!

Memorable Experience

The tour was interesting and the guide, Linda was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She told us the story about the dragon lady and her contributions to the historical sites. The Summer Palace and lake were tranquil and Linda explained the areas surrounding the lake and the other historical places. We enjoyed a delicious lunch near the Great Wall and then climbed from station 5 to station 1. Then we took the slide down. Linda helped us with souvenirs, showed us to the tea house, and took many family pictures for us. The drive home was pleasant and conversational. The driver was safe and careful and loaned us his umbrella when the weather looked rainy. We highly recommend Linda and this tour. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Highly Recommend

Our guide Linda was amazing. She was very kind and professional. She spoke English very well and made our trip very enjoyable and informative. Having a private guide is so much better than going with the larger groups. We left Beijing at 7:30 am and were done visiting the wall without the larger crowds. As we were leaving all of the larger buses were arriving. I would recommend this company to all of our friends.

Padma my guide was the best!

I did the Great Wall and Panda tour with my guide Padma and she was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, but also street smart and helped me get ahead easily of any queues or congestion. My driver was amazing too, very quick through the traffic and safe, also dropped us at all the right locations ahead of the rest. The Wall was amazing and I recommend going early in the morning. The Panda's were very cute, but more a zoo environment. For my first time visit to Beijing and visiting these attractions Padma my guide was fantastic and I could not thank her enough for her kindness, happiness, interesting history and great english. Thank you.
