Richard was an absolutely amazing tour guide! He took us on a delicious food tour and brought us to so many incredible restaurants and hidden local spots we would have never found on our own. Every stop was unique and full of flavor — definitely come hungry because there’s a lot of food to try!
He even took us to Wumart, which was such a fun and authentic experience to see local snacks and daily life.
Richard has a great sense of humor and made the entire day so enjoyable. He’s not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and fun to be around. What really stood out was how he captured so many beautiful photos of us throughout the tour without us even having to ask — he’s an amazing photographer!

This tour is a must! Richard was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing. He spoke very good English and paid attention to the details. We visited various restaurants serving popular local dishes that were superb. If you get the opportunity you must take it. One World! One Heart!

Come hungry! Richard was an excellent guide picking amazing cuisine for us to try. He added a grocery store visit and a tea experience. He even helped guide us on the subway. Wonderful afternoon event. Highly recommend!

Richard was an excellent guide. He was very friendly and professional throughout, and very happy to talk to me about his experiences as a Buddhist. He took me to lots of local places and I had so much delicious food like dumplings, jian bing & noodles, everything was so flavourful and it was great to be able to eat the same way as the locals.

All I can say is wow! Richard was amazing, One World, One Heart, to take me to numerous locals restaurants and he explained to me everything about what I was eating and its history. My son and I absolutely loved our food tour with Richard. He is so warm and welcoming. He greeted us with a big smile and we were off! We loved all the stops he took us to. It’s clear he has thoughtfully planned where he wants to take his guests. Richard clearly loves to serve others and loves to share some of what Beijing has to offer. We loved all the information he shared about the food and places we were eating. It truly was a special experience. I highly recommend taking this food tour!

What an amazing tour! Richard was knowledgeable and gave us a personalized experience explaining the culture and traditions of all the food we tried. Plus, the food was incredible! Make sure you have a big appetite as the portions are generous. Highly recommend this tour! :)

This food tour, led by Richard Li, was a highlight of our time in Beijing. Richard did an excellent job selecting the foods and restaurants for our tasting experience, and set expectations in terms of number of locations and food types so we could pace ourselves. He also accommodated the dietary restrictions of one of our family members without limiting the experience for others. He even helped us navigate the subway! His engaging personality and enthusiasm made this food tour a great experience.

This tour was great! I opted to do hotel pickup, but there was really no need. The tour starts from an easy to find metro station and you find your way to six different spots for more food than any one person can eat!
David was a great tour guide who made sure I had a good time, taught me about Chinese culture and some history, and of course about the food. Do yourself a favor and book this tour if you’re in Beijing!

Richard was our guide and he was wonderful. He did way more than just give us a food tour and instead shared with us many thinks about Chinese culture and his own, very interesting experiences. We spent 4 hours in his company and it was wonderful.

This is such a great tour! Richard is so thoughtful and friendly, and there is so much food!! Lots of great stops in places we would never find by ourselves, and all of it was amazing!

I really enjoyed this tour - Dawei was super helpful and showed me some really nice places that I wouldn’t have tried on my own + he really showed me some of the history of the places. Very nuce way to spend the first oart of a day!

We have been on other food tours, which, to be honest, we enjoyed more…. our guide was enthusiastic and flexible to our requests, and the food tastes great, however he was a bit hard to understand and he did not appear to be well-versed in the foods we were tasting.
