We are so glad we booked a private driver for the Great Wall. Kevin did an amazing job getting us to the right location to start our walk (not an easy task on a very busy Monday). He shared interesting facts about the wall, scheduled a last minute cable car ride down for us, and made reservations for a fabulous Peking duck meal upon our return to Beijing. We would happily work with Kevin again.

The tour was exceptionally well organized, from start to finish. Communication prior to the trip was excellent, directions were clear, and we departed on schedule. During the summer, the ticket office is very busy, so it took us almost one hour to enter the Forbidden City. However, this didn’t have a negative impact on the overall experience. The tour covers an impressive amount of ground and highlights all key attractions, including historical buildings, bridges, gates, plazas, artwork, furniture, and gardens. It provided a comprehensive overview of this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site. A special shout out to our guide Jade, who was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and passionate about sharing the history and significance of each location. She took great care of each participant, asked interesting questions to keep all engaged, answered all inquiries with patience and expertise, and made the experience both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing. It was a memorable experience and one of the highlights of te our trip.

Our guide Angie was awesome. Informative, friendly and engaging. Private car was enjoyable way to tour mutianyu Great Wall. The August heat was slightly more bearable in the early morning but it was very hot. Angie was also a great resource for ideas on what else to do during our visit in Beijing. We wrapped up our wall visit early because of the heat, Angie thoughtfully also took us to a tea tasting at a state-run store. Highly recommend.
