Montserrat is an absolute must see when in Barcelona, and a private tour with a guide as knowledgeable as Joan was incredible. Not only was he able to tell us all of the historical and “fun facts” about virtually every aspect of Montserrat, but he was also able to speak to the Montserrat staff, get us tickets and get us to the head of the line. Our day to Montserrat was incredible. We had a nice luxury van with the BEST tour guide named Adrian. He knew everything and more! Where to park, what is the best bathroom, what time to get into line before the crowds etc. We couldn’t have done it without him. The church, the Madonna, the choir were all terrific. Overall, I highly recommend it.

It is a must do in Barcelona. A wonderful way to get an overview of the city. You venture by the Sagrada Familia as well as several other Antoni Gaudi"s houses. You will pass many museums Catalan art museum. You will also see the beautiful Citadel park and the Triumphal Arch. We enjoyed our very knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide.He provided several places to stop and take photos along the way.

Exceptional Tour Guide

Tour features a leisurely drive up to Girona and a walk around the historic area. Then east across to the Costa Brava coast, stopping for lunch at a Cafe on the beach. Th3n a walk around a medieval village. Even though it poured rain all day, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment, largely thanks to our charming, attentive guide, Tony Rivas. He worked diligently to make us comfortable and shield us from the weather, patiently kept pace with my snail pace and slow stairs, and led us to good restaurants with reasonable prices. Full of local knowledge, he kept us engaged and entertained for the full 10 hours. Thanks so much, Tony!

The perfect way to begin our trip!

Our tour with Lucy was the perfect way to begin our adventures in Barcelona. We learned so much about the city and she paced the trip beautifully. Two of the people in our trip are slower walkers, and we were really pleased that she was able to accommodate for that. And then there was the food! I don’t want to spoil it for you so I won’t get into too much of what we tasted, but let’s just say it was out of this world. And ending the trip with a visit to the rooftop bar was fabulous. One Day with Andy showed us EVERYTHING! Amazing!

I would highly recommend this tour to everyone, especially those people that have limited time in Barcelona. We literally saw EVERYTHING (I am back at my hotel looking at a tourist map and confirming we saw EVERYTHING! There was absolutely no wait at Sagrada Familia or at Park Guell. Tapas with a guide got me to try new dishes I would not have tried and everything was delicious. Andy was informative but also just really nice to talk to.
