The tour by Cristina & driver David was flawless. Prompt, efficient pickup & extremely professional. Cristina was knowledgeable in all aspects of the city. We felt totally satisfied. Highly recommend. No worries about luggage on the minivan. Completely safe.

This is a must do day trip from Barcelona! All of the stops were interesting and beautiful, and the full day was really well planned - there were stops every hour or so, and the different cities were all very different and unique. Our guide Nu and driver George were amazing!! Nu took the time to give us a guided tour in all of the locations, told us interesting facts throughout the drive, and made sure all of our questions were answered - she is the best! Highly recommend taking this tour, and request Nu if you can!

This tour is excellent! We had 2 groups on the bus. Our tour guides Angelica and Rocco shared with us the history of the area and the Black Madonna while on the bus to and from Montserrat. We then split into our groups once we arrived at the monastery. Angelica was our main guide there and she guided us very well and made suggestions on what we can do during the free time. Excellent tour overall.

On our visit to Barcelona by cruise ship, we had originally booked an excursion to go inside the Sagrada La Familia and on the day before they canceled on us. I found an excursion on Viator to go to the Montserrat Monastery. We are so happy that it ended up this way, because we loved the visit here and would definitely return.

We had Miguel/Uncle Mike and he was amazing! Very funny guy, very informative, and a great driver. Miguel does have to keep things moving in order to get everything in over just a few hours. So, the tour does move quickly but there's so much you get to see in such a short period of time. We opted to just take in the outside of Sagrada Familia with this tour and then went back the next day to do a specific Sagrada Familia guided tour inside, where we also got to experience the towers. This worked perfectly for us, since we had a couple days in Barcelona. Sagrada Familia is just so amazing that we wanted the time to take it all in. Just be sure to let the guide from this tour know that you will not need tickets to the Sagrada Familia during this tour ahead of time.

We have been on numerous tours over the years many of them informative and enjoyable-but we have never had a guide quite like Rod with Explore Catalonia (through Viator). From the moment the tour began, Rod's enthusiasm and passion for the region were obvious. His knowledge of Catalonia's history, culture, and local traditions was impressive, and he shared it in a way that was engaging, interesting, and often humorous. It never felt like a lecture; it felt like traveling with a very knowledgeable friend who truly loves where he lives. What really set him apart was how much he clearly cared about giving everyone the best possible experience. His storytelling, local recommendations, and personal touches made the tour memorable and far more meaningful than simply visiting the sights on our own. If you are considering a tour with Explore Catalonia, we highly recommend it—and if you are lucky enough to have Rod as your guide, you are in for a truly exceptional experience.

This was a really fun, unique way to see Barcelona. The tour leader was knowledgeable, fun, and approachable, and the selections were unique and felt much more local than anything I would have been able to source on my own for a short trip. The wine and food were nicely portioned, and the team was able to accommodate dietary restrictions relatively easily. This was a great value and a very fun way to access a more locally authentic experience.

We didn’t do the afternoon tour we did the evening tour, and we loved it! Our tour guide Alvaro was great. He was very engaging and was very knowledgeable about the places that we went to see. I would highly recommend this bike tour. We used the same company when we were in Paris.
