Montserrat is not to miss when you’re in Barcelona! Beautiful and fascinating place. Lots to do once you’re up there. Give yourself several hours to explore. It is so much more interesting when you know the history of the place. Our guide, Alba, was fantastic!

We had a fantastic day on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. From the very beginning, Tony provided exceptional service. He picked us up from our hotel promptly at 8:30 am and safely dropped us back around 5:30 pm, making the entire day completely stress-free. Throughout the tour, Tony was enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He shared fascinating stories about Girona’s rich history, its medieval heritage, and how the city has evolved into what it is today. His explanations were informative, engaging, and delivered with a great sense of humor. Our visit to the beautiful medieval town of Pals was another highlight. Tony showed us the best viewpoints and photo spots, making it easy to capture those perfect Instagram-worthy pictures while also explaining the town’s history and unique character. The afternoon at Calella de Palafrugell was the perfect contrast—a charming Mediterranean seaside village with crystal-clear water, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Some guests even had the opportunity to go for a swim. Tony also recommended an excellent local restaurant for lunch, along with some delicious regional dishes, which added another memorable experience to the day. With only five people in our group, the tour felt relaxed, personal, and flexible. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy each destination at a comfortable pace. This was one of the most enjoyable day trips of our one-month European journey. My wife and I, along with two of our couple friends, had an exceptional experience with Baggio. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region as well as the current social climate. He gave a great tour but what we appreciated most were the personal touches he provided, including a food market tour and souvenir shopping advice. The air conditioned van was much appreciated given the summer temperatures. I would highly recommend this tour and Baggio as a tour guide!

Montserrat is a must see. The Basilica is impressive, beautiful, holy and much more! The views from the monastery are stunning. Really worth the time. Our guide Francisco was top notch, giving us historical perspectives that can only come from a lot of reading and memorization. One of the best guides I have had the pleasure of meeting! Try to attend mass if possible, it’s very reverent, holy, moving and much more.

It was such an enjoyable experience we had with our sommelier Kaylee. She was so sweet and very knowledgeable about our wine and food pairing and history of Barcelona and vineyard in the area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a love for food and wine. Thank you so much for an amazing evening.

An amazing outing an hour out of Barcelona. We were spoilt with information about the history of Montserrat by our guide Sophia. The monastery was a great experience and the village had so much to offer. Enjoyed the liqueur tastings and bought a significant amount of these from the local vendors. The Sunday afternoon slot also ensured that it was not too busy.

Fantastic tour with a fun guide who knew how to keep things light while giving good details. Gave a good down to earth feeling of what parts of the city feel like. The route is pretty flat and if you're of average shape you should be easily able to do it on a normal bike (as I did). An e-bike will obviously make the effort required close to nothing.

Irene was our driver and was absolutely fabulous. We covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. She was easy to understand, answered all of our questions and made our tour around town worthwhile. Not only did she show us iconic landmarks and stunning architecture, but she explained a lot about the rich history of Barcelona. She was engaging and personable and we enjoyed her enthusiasm.
