Great Fun!

Leo was a great guide, I wasn't feeling great after being ill a couple of days before and he looked after me very well all day. We were provided with lots of tasty fruit and refreshments through the day. The train ride was also really cool. A must-do experience in Bangkok!

12/06/26: A really fun tour. We started in a quaint meeting spot filled with small stores and gacha machines, where they offered us cold water bottles to drink. Yoyo and the boat driver then kindly helped us so we can safely embark on the boat. We then proceeded to take in honest, but equally breathtaking surroundings and views as we navigated the river to see the clash between the old, derelict nearby houses and the more new and established houses. Yoyo helped explain how this came to be and how these houses are passed from generations to generations, and also offered an insightful commentary on social class which I found interesting. Yoyo is a great communicator who seemed to really enjoy his job, especially since it is based in his hometown. Yoyo captured our attention, teaching us about Buddhism, and also to live our life to the highest, fullest way possible, because we "dont know when today's sunrise will be our last". He also cracked a few jokes here and there which helped break the ice. I cannot commend him enough. :) One interesting stop was the Artist Village which gave patrons an opportunity to explore the vibrant area full of colour and art. We then traversed through the river to see the giant Golden Buddha where he personally took the time to take individually take photos of us, before dropping us off near the Port close to Wat Pho. This was a thoroughly engaging trip from start to finish; thanks again to Yoyo and team for helping make this possible. 😀👍

We had a lovely time touring the back canals of Bangkok. We got to see a whole side of the city we never even knew existed. More authentic Bangkok. We saw a giant golden Buddha statue from the river and got awesome pictures and videos. We got to stop at a local market along the canals and found so many souvenirs for so cheap made locally!! Surina was an amazing guide!!

Great food… but pace yourself!

So much food! There’s a reason their slogan is “eat, eat. Repeat”. There’s a boatload of food. I recommend one or two bites until you’re about halfway through. Great food, knowledgeable tour guide (Ant knew everything and was quick to answer any questions we had! She was amazing). A couple of us (including me) wanted to try the fried bugs we saw at a random street corner and Ant made that happen. She was phenomenal and made the whole experience even that much more enjoyable.

This was the experience of a lifetime! Beautiful area, amazing food, entertaining staff. The only thing I would improve is the driver. He didn’t say anything so we were unsure how long the ride was, when the drop offs were etc. The Living Green Sanctuary taught us all about the elephants and how they got to be there. The staff was awesome, and lunch was delicious!

We had a fantastic experience on this tour from start to finish. Everything was extremely well organised, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable from the moment we arrived. The staff were welcoming, attentive and clearly very experienced at making guests feel looked after. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes available and something to suit everyone. The quality and presentation were both very impressive, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavour. The selection of drinks and desserts was also very good. The entertainment team worked incredibly hard throughout the evening and really helped create a fun and lively atmosphere. They were energetic, engaging and clearly passionate about making sure everyone had a memorable time. Their effort definitely added to the overall experience. What truly made this trip special, however, were the stunning views. Seeing Bangkok illuminated at night from the water was absolutely beautiful and gave us some unforgettable moments and photographs. The scenery combined perfectly with the atmosphere on board and made the entire experience feel very special. Overall, this was without doubt one of the highlights of our stay in Bangkok. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city and looking for a memorable evening experience.

Wow, what a fabulous experience. When I do a tour, I look for two things: 1) deep local knowledge 2) smooth logistics. We experienced both of those to perfection during our tour. We spent the day with Nan and she was fabulous. She knows everything, she told fascinating stories about history, engaged with all our questions, and was kind and patient.
