Aod and King were so sweet and took great care of us. It was amazing to see such a vastly different world right in the middle of the city! They truly have us a local experience from the bike ride to dinner at one of their friends, which was delicious. The weather turned out perfectly, and the fireflies were amazing to see! The boat driver got us really close and we even got to hold the fireflies. We even saw some bats. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend an evening in Bangkok. I booked a few hours before on the date of this bicycle tour. It was only 30-45 min ride from the hotel in Asoke. It was easy get away from city of Bangkok. The local tour guides, restaurant staff, and boatman, museum owner were very friendly and nice. You can expect memorable sunset, beautiful fireflies, delicious dinner, and warm welcome by everyone in this tour. Highly recommended for people who wants to relax in nature right in Bangkok.

This was an amazing trip. Aod and his lovely wife took us on a fantastic ride around a little island in Bangkok. We had a superb meal on the riverfront and then a lovely boat ride to see fireflies. Highly recommended. I was a little under the weather with cold and struggled. I felt so bad I couldn't each much of the wonderful meal they had cooked for us. This really is a must and something different to see a different side of BKK.

We did this tour in April and it was great. Even thought it was very hot in the day time, it had cooled down enough to enjoy the bike ride in the evening. Our main guide was great and spoke good English. There was a second guide who helped the group and took photographs while we were on the bikes. We used Grab/Bolt to get to and from the pick-up point. The directions given by the tour company made it easy to find the pick-up point. Be aware that traffic in Bangkok can be busy so allow plenty of time to get there. Once on the island there was a clean toilet to use before you start the bike ride and at the end/during the meal time. Bike helmets were available to use free of charge and cycling on the island felt very safe as there wasn’t much traffic. Top Tip: Take insect repellent. We had eaten before the trip started so didn’t need the main meal that was provided at the end of the bike ride but it looked beautiful and the other people in our group said it was lovely. If I could go back and do things differently I wouldn’t eat before the trip so I could enjoy the food. We didn’t expect to find any fireflies at this time of year but we were very lucky as we did see some in the bushes (it was very exciting). This was a very good trip and good value for money. I would highly recommend it.

It was a very varied and enjoyable evening - I've never done anything like this before. A short river crossing took us from the madness and bustle of Bangkok to the jungle! The cycling was good - helmets provided and very decent bikes. Once you got used to cycling on narrow concrete roads suspended feet above the palms, it was exhilarating! Highlights were the river cruise to see fireflies in their natural habitat, seeing monitor lizards getting ready to sleep on branches overhanging the river, and the food - freshly prepared and gorgeous. My only suggestion would be to leave out the bird watching tower. Not there long enough for meaningful bird watching; all the other experiences were much more rewarding.

This is a really fantastic tour. Who could have imagined there was such an oasis of lush, green beauty so close to Bangkok?!?! The bike ride was fun and easy and the environment was absolutely gorgeous. Aod, our tour guide, was very charming and informative and ensured that everyone had a great time. Dinner was delicious and the fireflies were amazing! A marvelous way to enjoy an unexpected side of Bangkok.

Nice dinner setting. Bike ride was fun but a little too long feeding fish…1 bag of fish food for group would be plenty!! Enjoyed boat ride over and seeing fireflies on the way back was fine. Guide professional and accommodating to everyone’s needs.

Wonder experience! Kind and friendly guides who took us to a beautiful island outside of Bangkok. A place I never thought I would see, but so happy I did. The bike ride was beautiful and relaxing. Come hungry because you get several snacks and the Thai dinner is large and delicious.

This tour was one of the highlights of my stay in Bangkok!
Our guide ‘Sugar’ is a very knowledgeable guide who took great care of our little group.
It was a unique experience starting from the boat trip to the cycling along quiet backstreets at our destination, including a track through a national park.
Sugar made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. He has a very engaging manner and a great sense of humour that brought the group together.
Following the cycling we stopped at a small family restaurant where we got to enjoy a delicious authentic Thai feast…. Then back on a longboat to watch the fireflies in the mangroves along the river.
Sugar even helped me get a taxi when my mobile phone stopped working and waited with me until I got picked up.
I highly recommend this tour off the beaten track and of course our fantastic guide, Sugar!

What a lovely experience! Our guide, “Sugar” was the best and took such great care of us. Loved the side stops for coconuts and rice, mango. The ride was easy and so peaceful. Sugar was so attentive to our needs and safety. The dinner was so good! I was expecting something like a fast food dinner and it was a true Thai family experience.

Such a unique experience, taking care of the guests from A to Z, this tour is a fresh air and really authentic. Aod and his wife guided the tour, the bike ride was easy and sweet, quick stop to feed the fish, then we went to visit a local museum which was really cool to see, very small and local. Next we had an excellent dinner, it was delicious (coconut drink, fried fish, chichen coconut soup, sticky rice and mango) yum ! and finally we spotted fireflies which was cherry on the cake😍 10/10 tour recommended !

The fireflies were underwhelming and the dinner was pretty average. Our bike tour was complicated by us being late due to ++ traffic and The national park we were to see closed 30 min before it should and guide had issues with his bike

Traffic in Bangkok can indeed be challenging, and sometimes delays are unavoidable. We understand how this can impact your overall experience, and we're actively looking for ways to minimize these delays.
I apologize for the early closure of the national park; this decision was beyond our control, and we've already reached out to the responsible authorities to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Extremely fun experience lead by Aod and King! Had so much fun cycling around the village, trying their traditional dessert, bird watching, and seeing the fireflies. Even though it started raining they made such we had ponchos. Dinner was delicious too.

Great tour! Very relaxing to get out of the hub-Bub of the city! Sugar, our guide was a lot of fun as was his “co-pilot” “vin”. Dinner was good, fireflies were neat to watch! Fed some fish at a lake and just toured the island. The bikes were in great shape and comfortable.

The dinner and view was good as well as our lady guide on the island called Som. However, our gentleman guide who met us at the police office expected us to wade through flooded waters to get to the boat. He said it wasn't his problem. No life jackets were available for the trip to the island.The bicycle tour took part in the dark with insufficient lighting on the bikes. After the tour there was no transport available in the drop off area. We walked 1km to an area where taxis were operating. The timing of the trip was too late

My daughter and I had a wonderful time with our guide Sugar. We met at 7 eleven and had a short walk to a near by boat. The boat led us to a small island, where we picked up our bikes and headed for the trails. We biked across around the small island, where we fed fish, saw fish farms and stopped to view one of the four temples on the island. We then biked to the restaurant and ate dinner on the water front. Lastly we took a small motor boat down the river in search for fireflies. We found a small bunch but it wasn't a great night to fetch for flies. That's why I dropped our review to a 4 star. Overall we had a magical time and our guide was the best. Very funny and was kind and thoughtful.

Il a plu très très fort, juste avant le démarrage de l’excursion. Il aurait fallu permettre l’annulation et le remboursement car Impossible de partir en bateau ni de faire du vélo. On était restés pendant 1h sous un abri a coté du point de rencontre a attendre que la pluie cesse, en vain. Quand pluie s’est légèrement calmée on a pu traverser et dîner. On a très bien mangé et les hôtes étaient charmants et attentionnés, tout comme notre guide. Après on a pris le bateau pour tenter d’apercevoir des lucioles … en vain également car il pleuvait toujours. Je pense que par beau temps, cette sortie pourrait être tres sympathique.
Je le referai, mais par beau temps.

Eine entspannte Radtour auf einer grünen Insel etwas ausserhalb von Bangkok auf schmalen Wegen fast ohne Verkehr. Anschliessend ein gutes Thai-Abendessen direkt am Fluss und schliesslich Fahrt mit einem Longtail-Boot wo entlang des Flussufers zahlreiche Glühwürmchen zu sehen waren. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Guides (Aod und seine Frau King).
