Our wine and olive oil tour on Waiheke was fabulous! Our guide was engaging and made the time between stops fun and informative. Our meal at Batch was delicious and it is a beautiful property! The olive oil tasting at Allpress was informational and we enjoyed the tastings. I would highly recommend this experience!

This tour was a great experience. The ferry ride views were stunning - able to view Auckland's harbour in all directions not to mention being greeted with OJ & Sparkling Wine!. The visit to three wineries was a plus with our fave being Mudbrick - absolutely gorgeous grounds and views were amazing. Darwin gave a lovely wine presentation. Our driver was well versed in all things Waiheke. The meal at Batch Winery was superb - wasn't expecting a full course dinner but it was very nice. Lovely grounds and stunning views too! Highly recommend.!

Enjoyed the 3 wineries and scenic tour of Waiheke. The tour guide was difficult to understand, intercom had a bit of an echo, otherwise excellent

A delightful day! Lunch was fantastic. The olive oil tasting experience was first class. Loved the Mudbrick Vineyard! Waiheke was a gorgeous island. Definitely worth a visit. This tour included your ferry ticket and was well organized. Thank you for a delightful day!

Trip description is accurate. Lunch at the winery was excellent. Our driver, Vincent, was terrific and contributed greatly to a fun day.

Taking this tour was fantastic the coach driver was very lovely and gave a great commentry about Waiheke. Beautiful scenic views.

Our lady driver was excellent- and Island native she knew everything- Olive tasting at Allpress was interesting and a lovely site, lunch at another winery was fabulous, the Cable beach winery wine was not impressive and the host difficult too understand- a nice location though- the final stop the Mudbrick was the best- a fun and impressive place and our Scottish host was terrific- the high speed ferry very enjoyable-

Kia was a very knowledgeable driver guide but was not very interactive with the group. The Allpress Olive Grove stop was fantastic. Very interesting overview, delicious oils and the perfect amount of time. Lunch at The Batch Winery was fantastic (steak/salmon/pork belly and vegetarian option) with plenty of food, a glass of wine (could pay for additional beverages) and time to explore. We then rode around the island with commentary. The Cable Bay stop was mediocre and less of a good experience mostly because of the host. Mudbrick was incredible but extremely rushed and it is absolutely the star of the show! Emily outdid herself and the wine is devine but it was a poor ending to an otherwise great day. The 10:15am Reserve Ferry was easy to find (use your tour ticket to board) and the guide was waiting on the dock when we arrived. There is a Hop In Hop Off Wine Bus on the island.

It was such a wonderful experience the moment we hopped on the ferry! We received a welcome drink! The bus driver was very knowledgeable and the olive and wine tasting was great. The lunch was amazing as well! I did think it was wine tasting at all 3 wineries but we were offered a full glass of wine (to our choice) at the winery we had our lunch.-no diff wine tasting there. We were also given time to shop and spend time to take pictures. Over all it was a great experience!
WANG_Y, Feb 2026
The places we visited were all good, but some of them were rather time-consuming, which made the wine tasting session at the end rather rushed.

Lovely day, Simon our guide was pleasant and very informative. You can really feel how much he loves Waiheke. We had wine tasting at Cable Bay and Mudbrick wineries. Cable Bay was only a C- experience but Mudbrick was an A-. Olive oil tasting was a nice addition as well. Definitely would recommend.

Excellant wine tour guide who was friendly and had knowledge of the island and its history. Wines were good but the highlight was the lunch at one of the wineries and the olive oil tasting. If you’re planning to be on the outside of the ferry on the ferry of the island, be sure to take a jacket and hold on to your hat.

It's just a little bit confusing determining which company we should be looking for (look at the PDF of your ticket). I had thankfully looked at previous reviews and knew where to ask questions. The lunch was delicious and the wineries were great. I met a couple ladies and we stayed at the last winery for more fun. Took one of the later boats back. Highly recommend.

Start at Auckland ferry dock headed to Waiheke Island; this was a little confusing on exactly where to catch the ferry, ask port workers. Enjoyed our ferry ride to the island where we met our tour guide. She took us to an olive oil farm tour, sumptuous lunch at one winery and then a tour at a second winery. And then a ferry ride back to Auckland. It was an enjoyable tour with wonderful scenery.
Carrie_M, Feb 2026
Finding the meeting point was not the easiest on a busy ferry terminal area, but once we did we enjoyed the day. Beautiful beaches, town views and wine tastings plus olive oil!
Jane_S, Feb 2026
They never showed up. Waited and waited. Very confusing where to meet. The security guard says this happens all the time. That they just don’t show up.
Mhairi_H, Feb 2026
Having read about difficulties with the meeting point got to the harbour early / asked for the pier number and was directed to the Q . Met by our bus driver ( Victor) on Waiheke Island . The tour was fantastic , great food for lunch , lovely wine at the vineyards . Each stop was the right duration - Victor was fantastic , his humour , knowledge and friendliness really made the day so enjoyable . Throughly recommend.

Well done and beautiful vineyards. Tour includes a delicious lunch at one of the stops. Loved climbing up the hill at Mudbrick to see the views and the beautiful horses.

Wonderful tour & great tour guide (Kai)! Make sure you get a clarification on where you are to meet the group going on the ferry. We had a 10:15 meet-up & were there at 9:30. Never did find the group, but Fuller 360 (ferry) helped us. We sent messages that weren’t answered to find out where to meet. We did finally find the group on Waiheke Island & had a great time.
Heidi_H, Jan 2026
Outstanding!! Great way to spend the day enjoying the island! So much more than lunch and wine tasting. Easy and fun learning, casual day, but not too long. Only concern was not understanding that we needed to be on a ferry before 1015 and without the tour guide.

It is a must when in Auckland, so Make sure you do it!!
The Commentary was very informative & friendly.

This was a spectacular tour! The info on meeting point was not good & we missed the ferry we were supposed to take. But an employee of the operator (Hashem) resolved our problem & arranged to get us caught up with our tour. The staff on Waiheke Island met us and quickly connected us with our driver and the rest of the group quickly. We missed nothing of the tour, visited the wineries & olive oil presser. And had a spectacular lunch at Batch winery. I would take this tour again if I could. Kudos to the local operator for the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. They turned a problem into a great experience!

Efficient, well organised and friendly guide. Good variety of stops. Comfortable bus, delicious lunch
Ted_T, Jan 2026
Beautiful island, scenic views, great lunch. Rating wine is hard because everyone's palate is different.
A note to the tour operator and viator. I suggest stating very clearly in the meeting point section that the QR code on the viator ticket includes the ferry ride to the island. And that tour guests will meet the guide on the island and not at the Quay Terminal.
The information is available, yet you have to drill down to retrieve it.
Marisa_B, Jan 2026
We really enjoyed mud brick and would have liked to have spent the whole lunch there with wine pairings on the menu
It was a lovely day and our guide was great
If they can fix the audio on the bus it would have been even better !!
David_D, Jan 2026
Great dinner, great wine tasting experience on beautiful WAIHEKE Island....friendly service ! Highly recommend it !
Suzanne_H, Jan 2026
Big bus with 29 people. I have been on other smaller group tours that I preferred. Driver was excellent but just average tour. I was here 8 yrs ago with small group. You get to see more with small group. Two of the wineries were just average. No stop for Manuka honey. Mubrick winery was the best
