This was a great opportunity to have the flexibility of time. Our flight in from overseas was late so being able to see the chocolate museum on our own time was perfect.
Robert_S, May 2026
The Lindt tour was great, but despite the Lindt website showing sold out they did have availability and it is nearly 1/3 of the price compared to Viator.
Simone_M, May 2026
Excellent customer service from Daniel he was very helpful to me as a confused visitor:) I am very happy with my experience
Jamila_U, May 2026
Excellent, it was worth the money for the last minute ticket. If you can’t find ticket on the main website this one site is worth the deal.
Linda_C, Apr 2026
Such an enjoyable experience! We were impressed with the level of interactivity of the exhibits, the museum environment, exceptional guest care and, obviously, the chocolate! Would recommend!
Kirsten_R, Apr 2026
The tour is priced at 3x what you’d pay on the website and if there’s any snags with the booking, Viator’s customer service is nonexistent.

The experience was great. It's far cheaper to buy directly from the lindt website, but when we went all the times were sold out.
Sharon_V, Apr 2026
Would highly recommend. The museum was well worth it and very interesting. Also got to sample some delicious chocolate
Annalise_R, Apr 2026
Super fun and easy to move through. The chocolate sampling is great fun too. The shop and Cafe at the end are also lovely.
Emily_n, Apr 2026
Lots of chocolate samples to try, enjoyed the experience however, very expensive for the short amount of time spent in the museum.

Great overall experience. Nice to get an understanding of chocolate making and the history. Great fun for kids and so cool to get free tastings all along the way

The seller of these tickets were a total scam artist and I never got my ticket so I had to buy another ticket at the door
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hello Heather,
I am not happy with the fact that you didn't enjoyed the activity. Since there is nothing I can do to A) remove this comment, B) improve your experience, I will use this comment to give some tips for the new customers that may read these lines, to avoid the similar situations :)
Please check your email. Please check your text messages. We send the tickets both in Viator and as text message if the phone number is provided (like Heather's case). Since Heather booked same day as the activity, the tickets were delivered within 15 minutes. You can always call us if you cannot find the tickets, we are happy to help you out. If you have WhatsApp in the same number we also send the tickets there (btw Heather didn't). But in last instance, if you are not capable of opening your text messages nor your emails... We don't do miracles. Don't hesitate to reach out to us! Have a safe trip!

We had a wonderful time learning how to make chocolate and acting like real chocolatiers. Would go back and do it all over again.

We traveled to Basel and caught a train to Zurich. Public transport was great, including the bus to the Lindt fsctory.....or should I say laboratory/museum. On the edge of Lake Zurich in quite a suburban area the factory is incredible. From start to finish it's amazing. We highly recommend, if only for the chocolate tasting 😋

Other reviewers have noted this is expensive compared to ticket prices 'on the door' - yes, it is, but it's a flexible ticket for any time of day, and I booked at the last minute, so for me was very convenient and I accept the higher price because of my own poor planning!
The tour itself is self-guided, and you can point/click the guide box to listen to info in your chosen language. The first few rooms cover the history of chocolate and Lindt, which for me was quite dull, as really the goal is the tasting area - three chocolate fountains organised with disposable spoons, where you can just pump out chocolate and scoff it while it's still warm. You can spend as long as you like here, and I did. Next up, there are cylinders of stacked different flavoured bars, and the machines cut them up and drop out a square when you hold your hand underneath. Again, excellent, as you can just do this over and over, basically until you are sick of eating chocolate! The next room has photo booths where you can get a photo with Roger Federer and other equivalent nonsense, before going along a line of Lindor ball tubs and picking one of each flavour. Take a bag for this; I had checked mine in the lockers and had to awkwardly hold my chocolate haul in my sweater for the rest of the time. Next you cross a little bridge and can watch the production line from behind some glass. The final area has a novel 'game' where you scan your ticket and get another chocolate. For me the comedy here was watching how weirdly desperate people become for more freebies, despite having already gorged themselves at the chocolate fountains and dispensers and Lindor balls literally moments previously.
Finally there is the shop, which is fine but no cheaper than any of the others in town, and tbh at time of writing (Feb26) much more expensive than just buying Lindor balls in Tesco back home.

Managed to get us in. Happy with the service. Booked last minute and we got our tickets in 15 mins after purchase.

Excellent experience with a real informative journey. The chocolate journey is a must do when visiting Zurich.
Mustafa_P, Jan 2026
Experience was good, but the ticket price was more than double on viator. The price on counter was 17 chf where as I paid more than 2 times (37 chf) on viator website. Rather buy on counter than the website
Stacey_A, Jan 2026
The flexible entry was perfect for us because we walked the 4.2 miles from our hotel to Lindt. The museum audio tour was very informative and the samples along the way were an added bonus. Bring a larger purse or bag to carry your samples. Also, check your coat using their lockers so you don’t have to wear or carry it throughout the whole tour.
Lawrence_A, Jan 2026
Great layout for presentations. Treats along the way helps the kids concentrate. The audio system helps the learning process as well
Maria_K, Jan 2026
Fantastic! It was very easy to get in. I just showed the front desk my voucher and they gave me my ticket. Easy like Sunday morning.
Donna_B, Jan 2026
Loved the chocolate tasting from the chocolate fountains just divine.
History of Lindt interesting this was an all round great experience
Luciana_R, Jan 2026
It is NOT necessary to acquire the tickets via partners, you can have it at the local with the regular prices even though the Lindt website says no availability. Do not pay 3 times thr price as I did!!
Evangelos_M, Dec 2025
Fantastic experience in Zurich not to be missed. Apart from a very informative guide to making chocolate and the development of Swiss chocolate, the Lindt chocolate tasting at the end was palate satisfying and extremely gratifying enough to stop eating further chocolate for the day.
