Fantastic! Lots of fun if information about the history of Zurich. Virgina was wonderful and made the trip fun. Lindt is worth the trip and the cruise back was a nice way to end the day. Highly recommend!

Best of Switzerland

Please don’t take this trip. Our guide tour was horrible and late also. No microphone. You can’t communicate with guide if you get lost. Terrible experience. Waste of money. Our guide tour name was Verena. Verena was terrible.

Had potential to be good

Denise_K, Aug 2026
Was a very hot day in Zurich which started on a bus with no air conditioning and no windows to open. The bus was blowing air that was warm, we couldn’t listen to the guide or concentrate on what she was saying because we were just trying not to pas out in the heat (it was over 90F this day. Not sure why they didn’t use a bus with air conditioning, but it made us hot and tired from the beginning of the tour and we only got some relief later on at the Lindt factory. The guide (I think her name was Angela), was nice and knowledgable. I did a similar tour with Viator two years ago which was a bit better than this- we had more time in the old town with more information and a direct boat which didn’t make as many stops. Overall this tour was just ok

Left behind

Cherita_C, Aug 2026
For those booking the optional Fifa tour, 1 hour @ Lindt is not enough time as the Shopping experience takes a lot of time. Thankfully the guide advised how to get back to the initial boat stop as when it as time to leave Lindt, I couldn't find him to get on the bus with him.

A good balance - walking...

Joyce_H, Aug 2026
A good balance - walking tour of old town Zurich, a boat ride on the lake and a tour of the Lindt Factory.

Terrible! Waste of money and time! Heatstroke!!!

Katrina_E, Aug 2026
This is NOT as advertised and prepare to be underwhelmed. No AC on the bus - and note - the bus will be at least two hours of dreadful heat and a tour guide who can’t explain anything about the city. Save your money! Scam!!!!!!

Tour guide was pleasant, nothing else good to say

Jeff_H, Aug 2026
Bus ride was hotter than outside the bus. The bus trip was too long and somewhat pointless. City walking tour was rushed - about 15 minutes. Tour guide began all addresses before the group behind her could catch up. She did not count the group or otherwise attempt to account for all participants as we walked. No instructions on how to proceed with audio devices in Lindt tour. Bottom line- waste of money, practically a self guided tour.

It was value for money....

Christa_S, Aug 2026
It was value for money. The guide and the driver were super! The Lindy experience was really worth it!

Lake Zurich Lindt chocolate factory tour

Lucretia_T, Aug 2026
Great tour! The guided tour as we drove n rode on the bus to our destinations was nice. The boat trip was nice on Lake Zurich, was nice, beautiful day for a boat ride although a a very warm day. The Lindt chocolate factory tour was nice-I loved the tasting stations. Robert was very informative and talked individually to each customer to make sure they were ok. Those of us who were unsure how to get back to Zurich HB , Robert gave us a time to meet and bought us back to the station. Great tour!

Great overview of city sites

Natalia_K, Aug 2026
Great tour guide , Natalia was very organized and informative. Good way to see a city and have a tour of chocolate factory

Best of Switzerland Tour-Zurich, Oh My!

chocolate_m, Aug 2026
I am so pleased that I signed up for this Best of Switzerland Tour. It made my Zurich stay much more meaningful. I especially appreciated the drive throughout the city which gave me a better perspective on the whole of Zurich rather than just Old Town. Seeing the city on foot, by bus, boat and train also added another enjoyable dimension to this tour. Our guide what especially pleasant and shared interesting details of the sights we passed throughout our tour. And of course, what could be better than a sweet, chocolatey ending at the Lindt Chocolate Factory.

Not worth it

Purva_C, Aug 2026
The city tour and the lake Cruise was not great. Also too much walking for the elderly. Time constraint. Rushing. Just buy the chocolate factory ticket separately and save your money. Chocolate tour at Lintd was great.

terrible air conditioning! fix it before subjecting other tour groups to the inferno

Julianne_T, Aug 2026
the tour guide was nice but the bus was horrific. it was like a burning oven and i was being roasted alive. not the way i want to travel. i'd rather have the tour guide give me a ticket and take a taxi to the chocolate factory.

Fun day Great Experience

Amy_C, Aug 2026
Fun day! Meeting place was easy to find. We got on the bus at 9a and stopped at to take pictures of beautiful scenery-by the lake, up the hill for great views, walked through part of Old Town then headed to the Lindt Chocolate tour, Once in Lindt, guide gave us tickets and you can do self tour w/ audio. No bags bigger than a crossbody purse can enter the museum. They offer free lockers and bathrooms were accessible. We had about an 1.5 hour so after museum we headed to the gift store to buy tons of chocolate then to the Cafe and got hot chocolate-tables to eat inside and out. Meeting place we all gathered and walked across street to take boat ride back to Zurich near old town. We had a choice of a boat ride-20 minutes or a scenic hour-whatever choice-got you back to Zurich near old Town-Guide was great and informative. The transportation ticket was validated to use for 24 hours. Definitely worth it.

Robert had great...

Rajani_T, Aug 2026
Robert had great knowledge about Zurich on the tour and guided us very well to make the tour easy for us, except that it was a hot day to walk up and down the old town. The tickets provided for all means of public transportation was very helpful!

Great tour around the city

Stella_B, Aug 2026
I went to 10am tour and our guide was informative, knowledgeable and funny also. It was a great tour!

Great tour. Nice overview...

Jeffrey_B, Jul 2026
Great tour. Nice overview of Zurich. Guide was great. Cruise, chocolate museum and walking tour was highlights

Great day out!

Victoria_W, Jul 2026
A family group of 6, ranging from 11 years to 80 years and everyone enjoyed it! From the very start before tour began we had some questions these were answered v quickly. At the ticket desk lovely lady very helpful then our tour guide tomas was great!! Very easy to listen to and very knowledgeable. The bus was spotless the small city walk was accessible for all not too long, the boat was great and the lindt factory was brilliant although i think we ate too many samples! We chose to stay longer and come back on our own, tomas explained how to do this and it was very easy! We then made the most of our ticket and got the river boat too. It was a full day out but so well organised would highly recommend!

Maybe not worth it

A bus ride. A brief...

Michael_L, Jul 2026
A bus ride. A brief walking tour. A 30 minute boat ride and then a visit to the Lindt Chocolate museum. After the museum, which really was the highlight of the outing, a public bus ride back to town. Our guide was very nice, but the tour was average.

Save your money

Steven_D, Jul 2026
Don't do it. The boat apparently had issues and never showed up. No refund either. Paid a lot of money for a chocolate museum ticket and only a bus ride.

Tour guide is really help...

Pankaj_P, Jul 2026
Tour guide is really help full but I not suggest do that much time for city tour and boat beside chocolate factory all is waste time

The tour was amazing and...

Eric_K, Jul 2026
The tour was amazing and well worth the price and time. Our tour guide Annette was truly amazing. Sweet, knowledgeable and fun to be with. I highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Zurich.

Around Zurich and Lindt - perfect

Allan_R, Jul 2026
Great way to experience Zurich, including covering ground by bus, walking through the Old Town, a visit to the must-see Lindt Factory museum and a cruise on the lake. Excellent guide.

A chocolate lover's dream

Wendy_P, Jul 2026
I truly had a wonderful tour at the Lindt Chocolate Museum. The process from harvesting of the coco beans to tasting the delightful flavors of their chocolate had my palate wanting more.

Great tour

Cheryl_P, Jul 2026
We loved the tour. It was so informative and well run. Olga, our guide, was knowledgeable, fun and organized. Definitely worth the time and money.

A Truly Memorable Tour Thanks to Robert

Manisha_B, Jul 2026
Robert was an exceptional tour guide, and we felt incredibly lucky to have him. His kind, gentle, and empathetic nature made every part of the tour enjoyable and memorable. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating insights that helped us learn and appreciate each place we visited. What truly stood out was his genuine care for everyone in the group. He always made sure no one was left behind, gave everyone the opportunity to catch up at a comfortable pace, and ensured that every guest felt included and well looked after. His warm personality, patience, and professionalism made a real difference to our experience. Having a guide like Robert doesn’t just make a tour better,it makes the entire holiday more enjoyable. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable tour.

Excellent, well organized, informative

Sridhara_y, Jul 2026
Well organized , punctual , good way to see Zürich in a short period of time. Highly recommended for families.

Incredible, all day...

Chad_S, Jul 2026
Incredible, all day experience. You have options for transportation and such so ask your guide. No time for food though so eat a big breakfast.

Disappointing - could do on your own

Cathy_L, Jul 2026
Sadly, it was disappointing. The tour guide and driver were not prepared for construction detours resulting in driving in circles. The guide also needed to ask directions on the walking tour to get to the boat because of a bike race. The group was large - a bus load, so 40-45 people. The guide did not have a mic/earphone set for us and often walked way ahead of our large group. She made several confusing announcements regarding how to get back on our own when the tour was planned to end at the train station. Apparently the final leg was on public transportation - we baled and took an Uber. Also, at times the guide was rude - I overheard her tell one guest who asked a question that she had told us that already. Overall, a tour you could do on your own with an Uber, buy a boat ticket and a Lindt museum ticket. On the plus side the young woman at the ticket counter at check in was pleasant and helpful. This was the 10 AM tour on June 28, 2026
