I cannot recommend this company enough. We originally had a dog sledding tour booked, but when it couldn't push through, Kelly was incredibly proactive in turning the situation around.
I was in a tough spot because I had already booked a non-refundable tour with a completely different provider for that evening. Kelly went above and beyond—she not only offered us a replacement, but she actually covered the refund for the other non-refundable tour and upgraded us to the Aurora Skydome viewing!
The experience itself was spectacular. The Skydome was superb and cozy, complete with a warm fireplace, hot cocoa, and great snacks (biscuits, cheese, and pepperoni). Brian, our guide, was awesome and made the night special. We really appreciated the effort to make this happen. If you are in Yellowknife, book with them!

It was everything and anything we expected! The guide was very responsive. They started slightly later but were immediately available on the phone so I wasn’t in the unknown. Once we got there, we were greeted by some of the house dogs, very friendly and cute! The company seems to take good care of the dogs and only lets them run twice and then changes the “crew” completely. Only 3 people per ride, so the others stayed in a warm winter tent and enjoyed a home made bread by the owner’s grandmother’s recipe. This family has been here forever and has a history deeply rooted in NWT. We mingled with other participants who told their stories and made some great recommendations about future attractions. Once it was our turn, we sat in the sleigh that had some blankets, and off we went! The owner followed on a snowmobile and pictured us from a distance. When we got back, we did some axe throwing, and I now know I suck at it :)))
I highly recommend these guys to everyone!

Take your warmest clothes and be prepared for a fast ride.
It was nice to go into a warm hut for hot drinks and bannock.

The dog sledding tour was really fun it was a beautiful day for it and while during the run exposed skin got a bit cold we could easily warm up. The dogs were really excited to work and the north of 60 team was very knowledgeable and helpful at every turn

The weather was minus 40 degrees F on the day of our reservation.
The operator canceled the ride due to the extreme weather conditions which I am totally agree with. It will not be fun for the dogs, or rider and the operators.
We get our refund and if we visit Yellowknife again, I will book with them in a heartbeat.

What an unbelievable experience. Kelly and her team are top notch. We were picked up at our Air B n B and off we went for an adventure of a lifetime. When we got to the the venue we were greated by the barking of some very happy and excited dogs. Kelly explained how things were going to work and then we could wait outside for our turn on the sled or wait inside the warm tent. We were the first to go up and they seated us and then the dogs took off. Like wow they just knew what they had to do and they were so happy doing it. We very much enjoyed the whole ride and the video that was taken of us at the end is the best souvenir ever. I can't say enough great things about this whole experience except you must try it and with this family run operation it is the best way to do something you will remember forever.

So much fun!! Friendly, great time even with it being -28! Bannock and homemade jam was a great treat with a piping hot chocolate. Thanks everyone involved.

Bundle up as this is all outside
Staff and dogs were awesome. Friendly and helpful. They helped us in and out of the sled and took great pics while we rode. Had an absolutely amazing time.

Great experience. Really fun. Very exciting ride. Went on a day with light slow. It was cold and the ride was just about the right time before my toes started to freeze. It was so comfortable when I got inside the tent, grabbed a cup of hot chocolate, took off my boots and warmed by feet on the stove.

We were picked up for this activity from the Yellowknife place we rented on AirBnB. The bus driver Curtis, who also happened to be a former government worker for the town, gave us a very nice tutorial about various buildings that we passed on our way as well as the town’s history and interesting facts about Yellowknife. That was a great start of the tour.
Once we reached the dog property, we stayed in a wormed tent and were served hot drinks while waiting for our term to ride the dog sleds. This is a very memorable experience. Dogs actually run rather fast through different terrains starting in the woods and then on a frozen lake. That was a great fun to experience.

First of all, I accepted it when the trip was rescheduled because of the weather. But I was only notified at 12pm, exactly the time the trip should start. I’d appreciate more if I was told even 10 minutes beforehand. I gather the weather didn’t drop below -30 all of a sudden?
Then, the start time changed to 1pm after the rescheduling. While searching through all the communications, I didn’t find a single message about that. I made several calls, unanswered. I left a few messages saying that I’d be waiting in the hotel lobby around 12pm, no reply. I finally got a call at 12:15pm saying the trip would start at 1pm.
Finally, when I asked the owner why it was changed to 1. And who and when told me this change. She said “do you still want to come or not”. That’s eye opening.
I’d say there are a lot of bigger scale trips organized by proper companies. My friends who went with trips organized by Aurora Village were much better. This one is funny, they emphasized punctuality but didn’t honor that themselves.
I already asked for a refund, not sure if that’d be smooth.

Our utmost apologies. We were even going to take luggage on bus and do an airport drop off. We had to reschedule due to the extreme cold as it was not safe for the guests, dogs and the team.
