Throughout the 4D3N tour, everything was well organized. The tour guides were professional and friendly. They helped guests taking many nice pictures. The vehicles were clean and comfortable. Value for money and highly recommended.

The tour operator mostly service for Chinese tourists while it was not known in any information from Viator. As the matter of fact the operator’s name is a bailable only in Chinese letters that made us difficult to find them when picked up at the airport.
The tour guides are not fluent in English and speak Mandarin almost all the time. It was more than different to know what was explained or described during the tour. We found another couple from Texas in the same group of tourists, who expressed the exact same language/communication issues with operating company.
I strongly believe there is almost no communication between the operating company and Viator as the tour guide requested me to show the itinerary in English provided by Viator.
Overall, l should say that Viator is very poor to coordinate the local operating company for any tourist who can’t understand Mandarin.
It is almost lied that the tour language is English.

Outstanding tour - if your Chinese, Guides were enthusiastic and attentive, but there was a language barrier. Still, they did an excellent job of hunting down and showing us the aurora which included driving to the ends of the earth. First night was too cloudy to see anything, second night saw the aurora but it was muted by clouds, even at the end of the earth. Third night hit the jackpot. Sky was crystal clear. You could see every star in the sky. About midnight the aurora showed. Curtains of color draped across the sky and brightened and dimmed as the aurora faded in and out. Awesome sight. Guide took pictures as it required a timed exposure to capture the aurora.

Getting to see the Northern lights two out of three nights. Staying at the Aurora lodge having hot cocoa biscuits in front of fire. Then going outside and seeing the wonder of the lights.
Our guide Cindi was excellent she included us by switching to English after speaking mandarin to others. Tony our driver was excellent as well gave us a lot of local knowledge

It was an unforgettable experience. We felt how amazing Mother Nature was. The tour arrangement was excellent and staffs were awesome. Especially Amanda and Robin, they did a great job. My family had enjoyed every minute in Yellowknife.

Although most on the tour as well as the guides were Asians, all the guides went out of their way to make up feel included and aware of what was going on. They took as many pictures as we wanted and were extremely friendly!

Pathetic experience, Tour guide was only speaking in Chinese language. This tour highlights that it includes unlimited photographs but the tour guide was taking photographs only of the Chinese people , we were requesting them for photographs but they were busy with their own Chinese people. Demanding tips at the end of trip when they have not provided any services to us but they were only ignoring us the whole time.

We are sorry you felt this way. For our night tour guide, our main job is to take aurora viewing pictures for guests.
I do have to apologize for not speaking much English as most of our guests were Chinese speakers.
For picture taking, we have tried our best to take pictures for our guests.
On December 4th, you had 8 pictures and two videos. It was -35 that night and the ladies guide tried their best to do their job.
You did not pay our driver and tour guide any tips which we already marked in our product that the tips is not inclduing gratuity and voucher.
We hope you also understand this and respect our policy as well.

I like that they combine two different styles of aurora viewing. They will bring us to several different places to increase the possibility of seeing the aurora. After that, they will bring us to their private cabin to rest and wait for aurora. It's nice to have a private place to view the aurora since it's quite annoying if there are too many people in the same place taking pictures.

ですが、日本語対応のガイドがいると謳っているのにも関わらず、空港に着いた時に、私たちは英語対応のガイドしかいないと言われました。
私は多少英語ができるので、かろうじてよかったですが、そうでない方にはとても大変だと思うので、この星とさせてもらいました。
