We absolutely loved this experience together as a family (parents + a 20- and 16-year old). The snowmobiles were simple to operate. Our guide gave us a long time using the equipment, guiding us across the large frozen lake and then on trails through the snowy woods. We loved the variety and the adventure. Would 100% recommend and will do this activity again!

Without my agreement, he unilaterally changes pick-up time but doesn’t notifies me.
He just text me 5min before changed pick-up time.
The reservation was cancelled unilaterally, ruining my travel plans.

My first time snowmobiling, and it did not disappoint! Out in the frozen lake areas we were allowed to go fast and free and that was the best part of the tour.

I contacted the tour company a day before to reconfirm and never heard back. So we waited in our lobby as planned, after 5 mins I contacted that tour company, no reply. I tried again several times and asked our reception to contact, while I called Viator. We waited for 1.5 hours, Then at 1pm we got an email to say they couldn't get the Snowmobiles started and could we come tomorrow. Which we couldn't as we were flying home to NZ. Am seeking a full refund from Viator.

Unbelievable. We were in contact with guest (Mark Sorna). We sent out a message in the morning stating "with the temperature currently at -36C and a windchill of -45C we will be forced to cancel tours today. The extreme cold increases chances of frostbite, but also snowmobiling is just not that fun when its this cold, also the snowmobiles probably wouldn't start. If you have time we would like to reschedule you for tomorrow" This is what was sent out. Mark I am sorry it was your last day and that you didnt have a chance to go snowmobiling however not only is safety number one, we also dont want to force people into something that theyre not going to enjoy. This goes for our guides as well.

The snowmobile tour in Yellowknife was an absolute blast! The guides
(Mark, Julian) were professional and ensured that we were all equipped with proper gear and safety instructions before we took off. The snowmobiles were in great condition, and the trails we rode on were stunning, winding through pristine winter landscapes with snow-covered forests and frozen lakes. The guides took us to some amazing viewpoints where we could stop and snap pictures of the incredible scenery. It was an exhilarating ride, with plenty of opportunities to zoom across the snow, but also some relaxed moments to enjoy the beauty of the environment. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for adventure and a unique way to explore Yellowknife’s winter wonderland. It's the perfect blend of adrenaline and natural beauty!

We loved our snowmobiling experience with Julian and Sheldon; great communication. The scenery was beautiful and the hosts fun and friendly. As a family 3 adults and 3 teen boys this was awesome. The snow mobiles were easy to operate for first timers.

This company is just ok. I signed up for the snowmobile with my dad and we were confirmed for a particular time slot but were moved last minute 2x to other slots. Then during the tour they advertised their ice fishing tour. I asked and was told they have slots next day, but when I went they were clearly overbooked. To get to the ice fishing you need to go on the snowmobile for a bit, but there weren't enough so they took several people on a luggage sled which I am sure was bumpy and probably illegal. When we got there, half the people couldn't ice fish as there weren't enough space in the tents and those people had to stand outside in the cold and awkwardly came in the tents once in a whole to warm up. Guides tried to entertain the people outside with the fish they guides had caught with nets, but then the people inside felt left out because they were never told what was going on until much later. The guides served fish but given the number of people each person only got a bite of fish slightly larger than a Costco sample. Overall, I wouldn't expect the level of service or experience you get on a top tour company - I have been on many and this was just about average to slightly less than average tour. The nature is what is amazing but the tour company isn't responsible for nature.

As for the ice fishing tour. The warming tents are meant to pop in and out of when you need to warm up. Unfortunately you, your dad and three other guests (despite being offered to rent winter gear) showed up in running shoes and regular slacks. Because of this all five of you spent the entire time huddled in the tent around the heater while the others were enjoying the outdoors and watching the net being pulled (which we announced to the people in the tents).
Mark and I gave demonstrations outside of filleting fishing while talking about each species. We cooked about ten fish in total in which you and your dad were served.

Amazing experience. The trails were stunning and the ice lakes gave us an opportunity to get some speed. Steve our guide was so lovely, friendly and encouraging. He was very accomodating for our inexperience and tailored the speed so we were comfortable and confident. 10/10 Highly recommend.

We had a booking, confirmation and payment receipt and no one turned up. After calling, emailing and texting I finally received a response that the business had thought they’d cancelled all their bookings. The rescheduled for the next day. Did not receive an apology at all.

Your TripAdvisor booking showed cancelled on our end, TripAdvisor will cancel bookings if they suspect the payment is fraudulent. We quickly made arrangements to have you on the next day. We picked you up on time and fulfilled the tour. Possibly this one star review has more to do with having to remove one of your party members from the tour due to not being able to keep the snowmobile on the trail. We do everything we can to teach but ultimately safety overrules. We are sorry that we had to do that.

I had booked a snowmobile tour of Yellowknife, but I couldn't attend.
The reason was that the tour company had changed the pick-up time the day before, but I had waited in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before the meeting time, but they didn't pick me up at all. They said I should be in the hotel lobby at 10:30.
After a while, when I asked him if he was in the lobby but had not yet picked me up, he told me that he had not picked up the bus at the hotel, and that he was waiting for me on the bus, but he was not told what kind of bus it was and he did not speak to the hotel lobby.
So I couldn't attend, so I sent him chats about making it up, but he didn't reply and the tour was complete. Still no reply.
I think it's funny that this side was there properly before the time they were told.
Eventually, the make-up chat will also ask for a refund of the tour price without reply.

We went to Chateau Nova to pick up this guest. We were there at the time that we provided to this guest.
