I would like to start by saying that the Tour Company and Guide were incredibly nice and did a great job but the value for the money on this tour is not there. We happened to go on a windy day and black volcano ash was in our eyes, teeth, clothes and all over our faces. Not what we expected. Sadly the glacier is melting and the ice cave was very small and there were multiple tour groups there just pushing people along. We had ice climbed another glacier the day before and I wish we left it at that. We spent too much money and time on this tour to come out covered in black ash.

Everything about this was awesome. Our guide, the experience, the relatively small group, the equipment, the attention to safety, and the little details like the photos, the icicle “popsicles”, and the history of the area. One of our favorite experiences anywhere.

This experience was beyond compare! we had an amazing adventure with Ari... so much fun! Great music, an off-road adventure and once in a lifetime hike on a glacier and into a beautiful cave. On the drive, Ari shared origin stories and facts about the nature of the glacier and the surrounding area. Black Crust Pizza is in the same building as their check-in spot and the food there was delish. The langoustine pizza and the Icelandic cheese with current jelly were our fan favorites. Thanks everyone for a morning we will never forget!

Such an amazing experience! We managed to see a fully formed ice cave and it was beautiful. Our guide got some great photos of us as well and had a lot of information to share. The hike was relatively easy and we were given safety gear for some peace of mind. Definitely recommend!

Amazing views, exciting little hike to the ice caves. Always be waterproof in Iceland and you’ll be happy. Viggo our guide was such a character and kept us entertained and also made sure we had great photo opportunities.

The ride on the monster truck is unbelievable, but the cave itself is the most impressive. Sadly this glaciers are receding, so go while still there.
Our guide was great, professional and knowledgeable. He came back for us after t the tour finished to return our keys that we drop on the truck. Overall great experience

This is hands down the thing I most recommend someone do if they are coming in winter. It is such a unique and gorgeous experience. You will not regret it and will have the MOST amazing otherworldly pictures. We went with the morning tour and got to see the way that gorgeous winter Iceland light reflected off the ice. Gorgeous! Our tour guide was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person name Boris.

This was the best decision we made in Iceland. The tour started with a ~30 minute drive while listening to Icelandic music. When we reached the "parking" area, my mom said "It looks like we're in a movie". The hike itself was surreal - the views are unlike anywhere I've ever been. The cave was stunning, the guide was super helpful and knowledgeable, and the vibes were immaculate. I would honestly consider doing this tour again, which I never do. 111/10.

This was the best part of our Iceland trip. You get to go inside a Glacier and see how glaciers are formed and how they change with time.
Our guide, Ari, was the best!!!! He made the drive to and from the Ice Cave very fun and interesting and pointed out many interesting things about the ice caves, glaciers, and Iceland. Ari taught us how glaciers affect Iceland and how they contribute to the continuing formation of Iceland.
Ari was totally concerned with everyone's safety and made sure everyone had a great time.

This was a great experience. Had a blast exploring the unique terrain and landscapes of Iceland. The guide was helpful and focused on our safety to and from the cave. The jeep ride out and back was bumpy but fun and as someone who usually gets carsick it didn’t make me nauseous.

Everyone agreed this was one of the coolest experiences of our lives. Simeon was an amazing guide, knowledgeable and attentive. My husband isn’t the most agile and Simeon was very patient, helping him along the trickier spots. It is a pretty active experience and wouldn’t recommend for someone with issues with walking and agility. It was a blast!

Plus qu'une visite d'une grotte de glace, c'était une ballade sur un glacier, avec passage dans un tunnel de glace, mais c'était fantastique !
On a fini trempé (avec passage à la piscine de VIK juste après pour se réchauffer dans un bassin d'eau naturellement chaude à 40°C, super combo recommandé par notre guide !), mais heureux !
En revanche, il faut savoir que c'est très dangereux, à de nombreux endroits, un faux-pas, et vous disparaissez 10 mètres plus bas dans le glacier ! Absolument impossible pour toute personne ayant des problèmes de mobilité.
Malgré tout, c'était magnifique, et restera un moment fort de notre voyage en Islande !

Erg mooie tour naar een mooie ijsgrot. Het was een zware rit er naar toe, maar je ziet dat dit een kleine onderneming is en graag wil dat alles goed verloopt. Terwijl andere auto’s van grote touroperators vastzitten in de sneeuw rijdt er met ons nog een tweede auto mee, die vooruit gaat en het pad als ware vrij maakt en ook onze auto in de gaten houdt. Perfect hoe zij dit doen. De rit werd uiteindelijk 4 uur, maar dat gaf de chauffeur geen enkele druk om sneller door de grot te gaan ofzo. De gasten stonden op 1 om er voor te zorgen dat zij veilig en een mooie tour hadden. Alleen maar aan te bevelen!
