Ran to find the tour office. Once there everything was great the museum was amazing and the Sistine chapel brought me to tears

I was very short on time, so this tour was perfect for me. I have been to the Vatican before, about 20 years ago, so I did not need an explanation of all that was there. We met our group about 2 blocks away at a tour agency. We were ushered through the crowds, straight to the entrance. I'd say from leaving the tour agency to being inside the Vatican took 20 minutes at most (including walking time). It was exactly what I was looking for and it enabled me to continue my morning expeditiously. Also, my daughter was four and I don't think I had to pay for her to enter.

Everything was as expected and we entered the Vatican museum with no issue. However tour guide had no concept on how to lead a group from their building to the museum. Her place was too fast. But worse she didn’t care if her group kept up with her, made it across a street on the same light as her, etc…

This is a shortcut to Vatican Museum because tickets are hard to get. Easy to find the travel agent office, and worth the extra money to skip the line.

The queues to visit the Vatican are massive (hours) and there is no escaping the heat/sun in those queues. The fast track tickets meant we could do more sightseeing and avoid wasting limited time.

Would definitely recommend this we went straight to the front. Waited for our tickets then made our own way through the sitting Chapel which was amazing but very busy. Then I queued for about an hour in the hot sun for the Vatican but it was worth it. Plenty to see in here.

Exchanging Viator voucher at the designated tour company meeting location was easy. Guide took us to the museum entrance a short distance from the meeting location. We waited briefly inside while she got tickets for everyone. We were then free to visit on our own.

Finding the location to trade our voucher for tickets was a nightmare. Several tour companies offer “skip the line” at the same location. Viator did not have a flag or sign to identify their specific location. We had to fight huge crowds and ask at several locations to find someone who would accept our vouchers.
Once we found the right person, we were guided in, given our tickets for entry, and were able to tour the Vatican Museum, as promised.

There were no avalable tickets at the oficial Vatican website at 16 Euros for the museums so we bought them for 32 Euro at Viator....
The "skip the line" was a bonus that saved us about 30 minutes standing in the line.
It was a good decision for a dpontaneous trip. Don't miss the museums.

Pagamos o dobro do valor do ingresso para evitar as filas do museu do vaticano!
Porém atualmente não existe mais acesso direto individual do museu até a Basílica, então, ficamos 3h para entrar na Basílica. Este ingresso vale a pena de ultima hora somente, se comprou pelo site oficial, é só aguardar o horário e entrar.
