Cold windy BBQ

Silvia_S, Sep 2026
Just bad luck. Our original night was cancelled due to the rain and the wind. We opted for the second night, hoping the weather gods would be kind. It wasn't raining but very windy, so really cold and uncomfortable. I can only suggest maybe if blankets were provided, and if they had gas heating it could have been more bearable. There is storage on-site so I think it could be possible. Also the sky was clear and the abundance of stars would have made for a great 20 min opportunity for a star person to point them out. Missed opportunity as there was possibly 100 people on this experience. Could have been better. The food was nice, but again due to the weather conditions the BBQ was cold as soon as we walked to the table. Oh well. I still recommend it for the desert experience.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Dear Silvia, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for giving the experience a second chance after your original night was cancelled due to the weather. We’re sorry to hear that the strong winds made the evening cold and uncomfortable. We really appreciate your suggestions around providing blankets and heating, as well as your idea of having someone point out the stars on a clear night. These are thoughtful suggestions, and we’ll certainly share them with the team for consideration. Despite the challenging conditions, we’re pleased to hear you still enjoyed the desert setting and would recommend the experience. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and for helping us identify ways we could make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable for our guests. Kind Regardars, AAT Kings Team.

Must try experience in Uluru

Highly recommend. Although I went on a cloudy day so there is not much of the sunset and stars, I still find it so worth it.

True outback dining

Was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend. We went on our first night in Uluru and it set the stage for a truly exceptional holiday. Aussie tourism at its best.
