Trip was great! Marie is amazing- so knowledgeable and helpful. If we were staying longer, we’d try to book another tour with her. We didn’t know what to expect with this one but the snorkeling was great and the cenote amazing. You actually get to swim/crawl/walk through the caves. Lunch after was delicious!

We had the pleasure of getting a private tour with Iber for the day and we had a blast. The snorkeling was beautiful and we saw all sorts of cool fish we had never seen before. The cenotes are an adventure you can’t get back home and it’s something we won’t forget. Once again a big shout out to Iber who did a great job of keeping it fun and educational. He was very knowledgeable and one of the best guides we have ever had.

The cave is a very unique experience. Unfortunately, the snorkeling was a bit spoiled because of the seaweeds even though it is not their fault. Our guide was great. In general, the excursion seems a bit overpriced.

Karen was an amazing guide! She made the whole experience fun and relaxing. She explained everything we were doing and taught us about the Mayan culture’s connection to cenotes. The snorkeling is very beginner, but still fun for an experienced snorkeler. The real treasure of this tour is the cenote! Seriously once in a lifetime experience walking, climbing and swimming through the rivers/caverns that connect the cenote.

I gave this trip a 3 star because it was over priced and not enough WOW factor to justify the price. For starters the best part of the the adventure was the underground river. It was spectacular and a shame that I don't have pictures to share with others. The snorkeling was not even needed for this trip as it was extremely basic and elementary in nature. The lunch ( veggie burrito) was tasty, but not needed as part of the price!!! I actually ate it as a respectful gesture. I would suggest everyone including the company to just do the underground river adventure and call it a day. IT IS EXTREMELY OVERPRICED and I can't understand why it has such high ratings.

Our excursion was exceptional. We enjoyed our first snorkeling experience at Ya-Ku Lagoon. Marie, our tour guide, made sure that our experience was top notch. She was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and very in tune with nature and creating the ambiance we needed for the cenote experience. The food for lunch was provided by a local Mexican family. Very delicious!!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Carlos was the most personable and friendly guide and made our day very special. He made sure that our equipment was well fitted for snorkeling and pointed out all of the interesting wildlife and plant life native to the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our private excursion into the underground river and Carlos' jokes made it feel that much more relaxed and enjoyable. Eating lunch in a remote private grass hut and having a chance to visit personally with our guide was the perfect ending.

Can I leave 10 stars?? Our guide Marie was absolutely phenomenal. She took such care of everyone and made sure we were safe and having a blast constantly. We have done a ton of tours and this was BY FAR the best. The cenote was absolutely mindblowing!! If you do no other tours do this one! For begginers but not for you if you get claustrophobic. MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST MARIE AS YOUR GUIDE. She is French. Thanks Marie you made our trip! #hawaiiboys

Carlos was a knowledgeable and fun guide. We got to see a turtle and a school of squid, as well as beautiful fish while snorkeling. Learned a lot during our underground river and cenotes tour. The highlight was turning off our lights deep in the cave and just listening at the life around us. Highly recommend!

I was picked up promptly from my hotel and it turned out the two guests already on board made us a group of three. As our guide Aida said, it was like a private tour. I can’t speak highly enough of Aida: she was so knowledgeable and so ecologically committed to sustaining the wonderful environments we visited. The lagoon snorkelling was fun, but it was the cave walking and swimming that made this a trip of a lifetime, and Aida really came into her own as an expert researcher. I loved every minute! The veggie picnic wasn’t half bad either. And Un cafecito en route, fab!

A friend of mine and I did this excursion in January 2019 and had a fabulous time! There were only 3 of us plus the guide, which made it feel like a personalized tour all day long. We were picked up at our hotel and everything ran on time. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and he taught us tons about Cenotes and the history of the area. The snorkeling was pretty good. Not the best I've ever done, but still fun. We had to fight the current and tides a little bit, but still saw lots of fish and coral. The highlight was definitely the Cenote tour. It was on private land that isn't available to big groups. We literally climbed through a hole in the ground and ended up in a whole 'nother world beneath ours! The one thing I would recommend is bringing aqua-socks or water shoes. There were parts of the cave that were very hard on bare feet. But there are also parts where the water is knee high....all the way to deep enough to swim. (But don't worry, you're equipped with a life jacket and flashlight) It was the most beautiful and tranquil experience!! Definitely something I've never done before!! Our lunch afterwards was homemade vegetarian ceviche (which I'll admit that I was doubtful I would like). It was SO good! Overall, this was a great day and definitely worth the money!! I enjoyed the smaller/personalized feel versus a drunken booze cruise :)

This was my first time snorkeling and Luigi did a great job of taking us through what it would entail to make sure not only were we all safe, but saw some great stuff!!! He had an amazing amount of knowledge about Mexico and the eco systems. The cenote was like nothing I had ever experienced. This was a great deal for what you got!

Hardly words for this one. It is remarkable to find a small hole in the jungle floor, descend a ladder with flashlight strapped to one's left wrist, and move in water through interlocking caves. This was a wonderful experience and not at all frightening. I found it deeply affecting to be in this subterranean world, and the scale is such that it is not overwhelming. I highly recommend it.
