This excursion is a must if you are staying anywhere in the area. I booked the tour with hotel pickup in Playa Del Carmen. The drive was approximately 3 to 3-1/2 hours, but the commute was well worth it. The bus was very comfortable and roomy. Plenty of space to relax, take a nap, watch tv….. the bus included WiFi service which was great! The pink lakes (pink salt flats) need to be seen in person to really enjoy. The whole itinerary from the pink lakes to the speed boat to the Mayan mud bath was so much fun. Lunch was excellent and the last stop at the crocodile farm was awesome.

Interesting and beautiful places to visit. Translamex sa de cv tour co pros- places visited on the itinerary was cool. Enjoyed the boat tour and walking in the mud! Bring appropriate footwear. Lunch was ok. Cons- 1. late pickup. Waited 60 mins, tried contacting tour co but got disconnected. Even our hotel tried too. 2. Communication by the tour guide were limited and she had to alternate between the 2 minibuses. Instead of having max of 15 ppl in this tour we had nearly doubled.

La excursión pone las coloradas, rio lagartos y ek balam Pues a ek balam no va y nos informaron cuando ya llevábamos 30 minutos de autobús en el momento que explicaron el planing y no había nada de ek balam, les preguntamos y nos dijeron que ese itinerario no existía. Por lo que no os fiéis de esta oferta de excursión, te engañan , nosotros más que a los otros sitios queríamos ir a ek balam, seguimos esperando una explicación del tour operador

Sehr schlecht informiert, nicht das was in der Beschreibung stand. Die Guides waren aber sehr nett und das Essen gut.

Zuerst sind wir für ein Weg vo Cancun 6h(!) gefahren statt wi angekündigt 3h. Ich wusste nicht dass wir baden können und hatte deshalb nichts dabei, der See ist absoulut NICHT pink und das schlimmste war der Besuch in der Krokodil“auffangstation.“ Dort wurden die armen Krokodile von der einen zur anderen Person weitegereicht wie Objekte, 50Stück lagen einfach aufeinander in einen runden Betonblock ohne Tageslicht, nur wenige von ihnen waren im Becken draussen!! Das alles wusste ich nicht, sonst hätte ich die Tour nie gebucht. Plus muss man um die Flamingos zu sehen durch das ekelhafte und schwierige Flussterrain gehen, was auch nicht jedem einfach gefallen ist. (Bei starken Übergewicht sinkt man zu sehr ein und kommt kaum weiter…)
