Overview

Journey above the Arctic Circle for a snowshoe trek through Kvaløya, a neighboring island of Tromsø. Well-organised and friendly company. The dogs were well-cared for, and the hike was beautiful. We were hiking with the dogs for a long time, and also got to pet all the other dogs. There was also some drinks and snacks around a bonfire. They even had vegan snacks for me.

This was really a wonderful experience. At first I was not too excited because im not a dog person but I fell in love with them as soon as I started walking with them. The weather was good which played a vital part. The guides were wonderful people, and were very friendly. My wife was slow and was running behind and they made sure someone was with her the whole time and even helped her with her walk. Really worth it.

It was a fantastic Day. our guide made sure that we had a wonderful experience especially me as i was quite a beginner to snowshoeing. The atmosphere was perfect and the break around the fire was fantastic. We were fortunate enough that the weather was good until the activity was over. I would do it again and again!

It’s super good, I highly recommend this tour, the staff was super friendly and if you don’t have the appropriate clothing they’ll provide it for you, the food, was really nice ass well. Excellent 👌🏻.

We had a great time snowshoeing lead by Loti. She took our small group out into the snow into beautiful scenery and quietness. Halfway we sat in reindeer furs and drank hot chocolate. Before heading back. The walk was easy and suitable for all abilities with as much time for taking photos as you wished. We then spent time meeting the sleigh dogs which was a real highlight and makes this experience extra special if you are an animal lover. Before sitting around the fire for some more refreshments and meeting one of the puppies up close. Loti is a great host, very warm and welcoming, who kept the conversation flowing and who is clearly passionate about both nature and the dogs. Everyone at the centre were very friendly and the facility is very well kept as are the happy dogs! Couldn’t ask for more.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec notre guide Gina qui a été vraiment géniale. Nous étions un petit groupe de 8 personnes. Gina nous a demandé si cela nous ferait plaisir de faire la randonnée avec un chien qui ce jour là ne pouvait pas tirer de traîneau. Ça a été super qu’il soit notre compagnon de balade ! Il s’est régalé et nous aussi! Nous avons traversé de très beaux paysages. Nous nous sommes arrêtés un moment et Gina nous a fait un feu. Nous nous sommes réchauffés avec du thé du café et du chocolat chaud et nous avons fait griller des marshmallows. Top ! Gina était très attentionnée et nous avons beaucoup échangé. La randonnée était à la portée de tous. De retour à la ferme nous avons pu passer beaucoup de temps avec les chiens, nous avons joué avec les chiots. Le personnel est toujours à disposition pour répondre aux questions ou donner spontanément des explications. Ils sont aux petits soins pour Les chiens qui eux sont hyper affectueux. Tout à été parfait !
