Overview
Visit Miramare Castle, a striking white structure with Gothic, Medieval and Renaissance design elements overlooking the Trieste Gulf on the Adriatic Sea. Built by Ferdinand Maximilian of Hapsburg during the late 1850’s, the castle is surrounded by rare and exotic plants and trees collected by the Duke, who was a renowned world explorer.

We purchased a trip to Miramare castle!
Absolutely beautiful! The gardens/the walk up to it and gounds and the castle itself!
Quite inexpensive but one you should definitely not miss!
Very well laid out and stunning views of the bay and gardens!

It’s basically a skip the line ticket. But made it very easy to wander through the castle at your own place and around the grounds. Very enjoyable. Make sure to bring water as it’s hot.

Beautiful castle just wish we knew more of the history no one trlls you anything. It was raining and a ling walk to entrance they bad shuttle carts but they wouldnt pick us up

Castle was amazing what a location . But then again Emperors and capitalists always what they want hey!
Don’t bother pre booking as we could have got tickets there. They said tickets would arrive via email never did.

Timing was perfect and we had a Wonderful visit at Miramar. Miramar is History.
The only problem is to find the toilet.

The castle and surrondings are beautiful, however,Viator charge double the price. I recommend buying the entrance ticket on the castle's website.

We paid for a "self guided" tour of Miriamare Castle which included English headset. When we arrived at the ticket office, they made us pay for the headsets (even though I showed them our ticket) we did not want to argue with them. We never received an official confirmation from the business (they stated will send an email) which never arrived. Viator was fine as far as sending us updates to the tour, however the most important email did not arrive which caused complications at the ticket office. I only gave it a 2 rating because of the poor communication of the vender. (that cost doubled the price of the tour for us) I recommend just buying the tickets at the castle. Much easier (and cheaper)

il momento più memorabile è stato quando ci siamo presentati alla cassa del castello con la prenotazione e ci hanno fatto pagare gli ingressi poichè i biglietti che avevamo acquistato tramite VIATOR per la visita al castello per le ore 10,00 ci sono arrivati alle 11,20. Così a causa del cattivo servizio di VIATOR la visita al castello ci è costata 52 € . 36 € di biglietti tramite VIATOR
( non utilizzati) e 24 € alla cassa del castello.

Al castello non sapevano nulla della prenotazione così ho ricomprato due biglietti. Quindi ho dedotto di essere stato truffato
