This tour was my favorite activity on a recent brief visit to Toronto. Tour guide Paris was personable, knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts about food and history; his love of the subject matter was apparent. The food was delicious and filling. All in all, a great introduction to Canadian cuisine and to the history of Toronto. Take this tour, you'll be glad you did!

Paris, our guide was good, but the tour itself was disappointing. We booked a food tour not only to experience the food of Toronto, but to also experience the city. We did not expect to be touring a food market for the majority of the time.

What a great tour! Julia was fabulous, and we had a lot of fun trying Canadian treats. There was plenty to eat and nice rest stops. Highly recommend!

Aerial was a wonderful guide. Enjoyed the food, Kensington Market and the history. There were 4 of us and we each had a different favorite dish so that’s a good thing. Something for everyone.

Great food experience. We enjoyed seeing the market and distillery district in 1 tour. Pace was great. We loved hearing the marketplace history. We would have enjoyed hearing more about the distillery district. History was a bit light here. Great photo ops. Good guides.

No Show - Completely let down. Booked paid & received and email the day before to say look out for the orange umbrella and big smile. Arrived on time and waited. Messaged on whatsapp asking where are you - They came back to say sorry we haven't got your booking then said didn't have enough take up for that day could we come Friday. We was leaving Toronto on Thursday so a big NO. We then got a message to say we will refund. Shocking & don't touch them with a barge pole!

Cancellations are always a last resort for us, and in this instance, scheduling issues affected our ability to run the experience as planned. We did offer alternative dates, but as these didn't fit your travel schedule, we arranged a full refund.

If you want to experience Toronto through its food, this is the tour you want. From the first stop you realize this is not just a sampling, it is a feast. Most tastings were very generous with two delicious sweets. There is basically only two stops with a 15 minute walk between the two. If you are looking for an interesting and filling food tour, this is the one for you!!

Great intro to Toronto and some Toronto classic food items. Yes poutine but also some others and quite tasty with good history.
I wouldn't say the tour was all that secret as it went to main tourist sites. However the amount of walking was very reasonable. Plenty of food but not way too much.
Our guide, Yulia, was excellent. Great info and navigated getting seats in Kensington market on a Saturday as well as people who came 1.5h late with grace.

We did check your availability to see if we could arrange another date, but when the alternatives did not work for your schedule, we made sure the booking was fully refunded. Our guide was Ariel. He was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the area. We liked the food but we spent a lot of time in the St Lawrence food market. It would have been nice to be able to visit different food places in the area instead. We thought the secret dessert would be a beaver tail which we would have liked. We also thought the order of food was odd as we had dessert then got poutine after.

We had such a great time on our tour with Ariel! Everything we tried was wonderful, and it was such a fun way to explore St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District.
Ariel was fantastic! Super personable, funny, charismatic, and easy to talk to. He shared so much interesting history about Toronto along the way, but also told us about the history and stories behind the specific places we stopped to eat and shop, which made the whole experience that much more interesting.
It was the perfect mix of great food, learning about the city, and just having a genuinely fun time. We really enjoyed getting to spend a few hours exploring Toronto with Ariel and would definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience tasting Canadian food at St. Lawerence market. We also walked down to the Distillery district. Our guide, Julia was great! We did a three hour food tour to the St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District. Our guide, Yulia, was excellent - so knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed every stop on the tour and we learned a lot of history from Yulia. We highly recommend this tour for the tasty local cuisine as well as the interesting history.

Most of the tour was in St Lawrence market, so not really much walking involved. We tried 6 different foods, all of which were delicious! 4 were in St Lawrence, then we took a little 10 minute walk to the Distillery District.

We enjoyed our food tour with Yulia and got to try a good variety of food. The peameal bacon sandwich was a highlight for us, it was also nice to visit St Lawrence market and the distillery district.
