This tour was my favorite activity on a recent brief visit to Toronto. Tour guide Paris was personable, knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts about food and history; his love of the subject matter was apparent. The food was delicious and filling. All in all, a great introduction to Canadian cuisine and to the history of Toronto. Take this tour, you'll be glad you did!

I really enjoyed the food from the golden patty. Ariel was accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. The history he told was really interesting. I know more about the city than I did before!

We were canceled after our meet time. My daughters were really excited about the tour. We were upset about how this was handled more than anything. Poor. Very poor

We did check your availability to see if we could arrange another date, but when the alternatives did not work for your schedule, we made sure the booking was fully refunded. We do appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue refining the experience and the way we support our guests when unexpected circumstances arise.

Our guide was Ariel. He was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the area. We liked the food but we spent a lot of time in the St Lawrence food market. It would have been nice to be able to visit different food places in the area instead. We thought the secret dessert would be a beaver tail which we would have liked. We also thought the order of food was odd as we had dessert then got poutine after.

We had such a great time on our tour with Ariel! Everything we tried was wonderful, and it was such a fun way to explore St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District.
Ariel was fantastic! Super personable, funny, charismatic, and easy to talk to. He shared so much interesting history about Toronto along the way, but also told us about the history and stories behind the specific places we stopped to eat and shop, which made the whole experience that much more interesting.
It was the perfect mix of great food, learning about the city, and just having a genuinely fun time. We really enjoyed getting to spend a few hours exploring Toronto with Ariel and would definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience tasting Canadian food at St. Lawerence market. We also walked down to the Distillery district. Our guide, Julia was great! She was so helpful!!Lots of history along the way and she answered all Our questions. Even gave us suggestions and recommendations on what to do outside of the tour . Highly recommend!

We did a three hour food tour to the St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District. Our guide, Yulia, was excellent - so knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed every stop on the tour and we learned a lot of history from Yulia. We highly recommend this tour for the tasty local cuisine as well as the interesting history.

Most of the tour was in St Lawrence market, so not really much walking involved. We tried 6 different foods, all of which were delicious! 4 were in St Lawrence, then we took a little 10 minute walk to the Distillery District.

We enjoyed our food tour with Yulia and got to try a good variety of food. The peameal bacon sandwich was a highlight for us, it was also nice to visit St Lawrence market and the distillery district.

Highly recommend this tour as it balanced a great guide, was just long to give you sense of the food scene and a couple of neighborhoods in Toronto and small in size. It was really a great way to spend 3 hours and taste a variety of foods across the St. Lawrence Market and the Distillery District. Yulia, who was our guide, was fantastic, and managed everything efficiently while providing many stories at each stop.

We have done many food tours. This one wasn’t very good. Almost all of the tastings were standing up on the crowded St. Lawrence Market. It didn’t seem as it was well prepared as our guide had to wait in long lines like other patrons. He held the servings out and we got portions using flimsy plastic forks. He showed up 5-7 min late after asking us to be their 15 min early. The servings and setting weren’t conducive to meeting others on the tour like normal. We were disappointed overall. This is the only negative review I have ever written regarding a food tour.

Our tours are thoughtfully curated to showcase the best of the local food scene, and in some locations, enjoying tastings while standing is an intentional part of the experience. It allows guests to take in the atmosphere and energy of the neighborhood as locals do. That said, we understand this style isn't for everyone, especially if you were hoping for a more relaxed setting that encouraged conversation with the rest of the group.
We also appreciate your comments about the pacing and overall organization. Feedback like yours is valuable as we continue refining the experience and looking for ways to make each tour run as smoothly as possible.
Many of our guests leave with wonderful memories of the food, the stories, and the connections they make along the way, so we're saddened this wasn't the experience you had with us.

Yulia was amazing!! I do have to say, calling this a food tour undersells the experience. There was as much history knowledged dropped as food. It's really a number of delicious culturally relevant food stops combined with a ton of food history and history of the St Lawrence Market and Distillery District mixed in. It's a great way to combine food and a waling tour together. Thanks Yulia!!!

Don't miss the Peameal sandwich from Paddington's. I was leery, but the first bite won me over! You won't leave hungry but you get enough steps in to counteract the calories. Lots of history and fun facts, too.

Fun area to visit with lots of diverse small restaurants and vintage clothes stores all bunched together. Food was good. Historical info about the area and Toronto as a whole was interesting. Some stops are sit in restaurants and some are stand outside and eat places. Our guide, Ariel (sp?) was great.

My sisters and I had so much fun on this food tour! We can’t say enough good things about our tour guide, Julia. She was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying every step (and bite) of the way. The food along the tour was delicious and we loved how we were able to try the staples of Canada while also learning the history of them! I would recommend this tour to any traveler who loves to try new food.

Our group of 5 participants showed up 15 minutes early at the meeting point but the tour guide "did not" show up. I contacted Viator requesting a refund and was informed they would look into the matter. I received a call from the tour guide an hour later requesting for us to wait an additional 10 minutes from that point. Our group had already departed to eat at a local restaurant, so we declined. We want a refund for the tour guide's no show at the scheduled time.

A great snapshot of st Lawerence market and distillery district. Met lots of great people from around the world in our group, learned a ton of history and ate awesome food along the way. Makes you want to come back for more. Our guide Paris was friendly and accommodating to families with young kids and people with allergies. Highly recommend Sunday mornings, was not super crowded and was able to find tables to sit/stand. Expect tour duration to exceed the estimated time. Our tour was almost an hour longer than expected.
