Itinerary
Meet and greet the local tour guide and the rest of the small group near the front entrance of the Village by the Grange in downtown Toronto. There will be a brief introduction to Toronto before beginning the approximately 3.5-hour ride around Toronto’s eastern islands.
The tour begins with a brief ferry ride across the Inner Harbour to the eastern Toronto Islands, where bicycles are preferred in this, the largest car-free community in North America.
See historic landmarks like the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, the oldest existing lighthouse on the Great Lakes and one of Toronto's oldest buildings, and the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, one of the world’s oldest and largest yacht clubs. Then stop for a snack and admire Toronto’s waterfront parks and beaches, as well as a breathtaking panoramic view of the city skyline.
Throughout the tour, the guide will provide information about the history of the islands over the past 200 years as well as its role as a residential community, recreation spot, transportation hub, scenic retreat — even a sporting facility. The tour ends back near the Village by the Grange.

Fantastic 1st Day Tour! Best decision to take this tour - Ryan was our brilliant guide, really welcoming and looked after us so warmly for the whole ride. We learned so much on the harbour and island morning tour. - it was a brilliant way to orientate ourselves on Day 1 of our short break in Toronto. The bicycles were in fantastic condition and a comfy ride. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The heavens opened on us but Ryan was prepared with waterproofs for all and snack bars. He didn’t skip a beat when we needed to divert for a brief coffee stop to deal with the jet lag from having arrived a few hours previously from the UK. Thanks Ryan, appreciated all of your good humour, professionalism and informative ride :-)

Ryan was an excellent tour guide! Super friendly and so knowledgable about the history of the islands and Toronto in general. He even helped us plan the rest of our day in the city, complete with street car routes. Bikes were really nice, and the terrain was pretty flat. Washrooms were available along the route. It was cooler on the island, so dress in layers. Overall, great experience. Would definitely recommend!

It was a great way to spend our wedding anniversary, the other couple we were with were from England and they were fun, also seeing the locals, taking the ferry, great tour guide and a peaceful bike ride

This was an amazing experience and highly recommend if you have a morning or afternoon free while in Toronto. We are retired and the amount of biking was just right for us(not regular bike riders). The tour of the island, spectacular views of the skyline, and ferry ride over just perfect! Our guide Oscar took good care of us and was very knowledgeable of local history and the island.

Easy bike ride giving a different view of the city as you cross over to islands by ferry. Learned a lot of history and the tour was about right in length.

We had a truly amazing time with Jenny. We were a 3 generation group with 7 people between ages 2 and 68. Jenny was so kind, funny and patient with our kids (all three of them, aged 8, 5, and 2.) it can be hard to find fun activities to do with such young kids and this was a huge huge win for our trip! All three generations loved it!

The Toronto Islands Bike Tour was a great experience. Not only did we see part of Toronto by bike, we were able to go to the Toronto Islands and learn about the rich history of the area. It was a small tour with a very animated tour guide, Ryan, who we really enjoyed.

Great experience all around, Sidney was a great tour guide, got us where we needed to go and kept us all safe ,she took pictures and told us alot of imformation we have never known about toronto and the Islands.A nice drive through the city to the ferry,and across to the Islands was very nice , The views from the Islands are amazing, and such a unique place with lots of History. Sidney was amazing, on our trip she had to fix 2 chains that came off of one riders bike,and replaced a tire tube on one of the riders bikes after he got a puncture in his tire. She impreseed me with her mechanical skills, fixed the issues quickly and didnt let the issues effect the tour at all. We did 15kms and the Tour was well worth the money. Thanks to the Company and Sidney for a great experience.

This was an awesome experience for us!!! We wanted to see the Toronto sky line and do an activity we wouldn’t normally do on vacation, and it was even better than we expected. Our 10 and 13 year olds loved it. Not too difficult at all. Very easy and relaxing. Oscar was a great guide! Highly recommend!

Fab fun trip, whole heartedly recommend this tour to everyone. Ryan our tour guide was brilliant he made us feel safe when cycling in the city. We went at our pace, so no stress. The islands were such a contrast to the city, so quiet and picturesque when we went in October.

This tour delivered. Toronto's skyline views from the island were spectacular. Sydney's guidance and expertise on the history as well as current events and inhabitants of the island proved to be educational and enlightening whole riding our comfortable tour bikes around. We enjoyed every part of this tour of the beautiful and serene Toronto Islands, getting to experience it on a bike, and learning the detailed history provided by Ryan. We felt safe while biking in an unfamiliar city. It was a delightful outing and we sure hope to return someday!

My husband and I enjoyed the bike ride. Our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable of the area of the city and islands. He was patient and answered all of our questions.
The bikes were comfortable and easy to peddle.

Toronto islands are beautiful and easy to navigate. Our guide, Sydney was knowledgeable and friendly. We went on a cloudy day with just a hint of rain and still had a terrific tour. If you want to get out of the downtown business of Toronto and see some of the natural beauty then this is the tour for you. It even includes a ride on the ferry. We takes bike tours in every city we travel to and this was definitely one we would highly recommend.

This was the highlight of our Toronto vacation. Our guide Mariana was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and very fun to be around. The tour was so much fun, riding through the streets of downtown Toronto, getting on the ferry, and riding through the beautiful and scenic Toronto Islands. I can't recommend this more highly.
