Itinerary
Begin your medieval-themed evening with pick-up from your South Tenerife hotel and a transfer to Castillo San Miguel in Aldea Blanca. As you cross the drawbridge and greet your hosts, the Count and the Countess, prepare to be transported back to the Middle Ages.
Take your seat in the grand Tournament Hall for the medieval games and cheer on the horseback knights as they fight each other in a spirited jousting tournament. Dig into a traditional medieval-style banquet as you watch the impressive horse stunts and intricate swordplay, then raise a glass of wine to the champion.
Once you’ve finished eating, drinking and dancing, you are escorted back to your hotel.

A fun evening, something a bit different for the family.
Picked up from hotel which was nice and easy. Castle set up is good.
The main reason for only 3 stars was the waiting around to get into the arena was quite long and the food was disappointing.
If you are looking for something different to do for the evening though it’s worth a visit.

A fantastic evening, my husband and I travelled with our 17 year old son. Pick up and drop off was less than a 10 minutes walk from our hotel and was seamless. We arrived in plenty of time so there was a good hour before the show started, during this time you had photos with the King and Queen which you could purchase. There was a bar and souvenir shop, toilets and a large area for waiting, plenty of chairs and tables to sit at. The show itself was brilliant lots of shouting, chanting etc. The food was ok, the vegetable soup was tasty, so was the chicken leg, the sliced potatoes were just ok, and the vienetta style dessert was really nice. Would we go again in the future, yes we would it was a fun entertaining evening out.

Fabulous night all round!
Really got into the competition element between the 2 sides of the arena and the actors/ performers did not disappoint.
Really well put together event with lots of quality entertainment that tells a great story.
Food is basic but still very tasty….. even the chicken nuggets for the kids went down well.
I would highly recommend this as a night out for anyone with kids….. our grandkids loved it!

I have been before but family had not. They were very impressed. Meal was lovely, only gripe was that you couldn’t see well to eat at times. Show brilliant as always. Horses were stunning.

Driving in Tenerife is very stressful so we enjoyed being picked and taken back to our Hotel. The Medieval Adventure was great. Story lines were fun, audience engagement was great. Kids would love this!

I booked this experience for the thursday on our trip, we were then told by the tour operator that transfers could only be offered from our area on the saturday so we changed the booking. The friday arrived, we then got our booking refunded because transfers were not available on the saturday. I then found out from a local tour operator that the transfer is only available from puerto de la cruz on a thursday,thursday!! the day we had originally booked for. So we miss out on this trip,which we had booked months in advance & were really looking forward to. 😭

We had a wonderful night. There were 6 people in our party (4 children and 2 adults). Everything was fabulous. We got picked up from outside our hotel and were swiftly ushered into the castle on arrival. The dancer in the hall greeted us and we went to have our picture taken with the king and queen. The souvenirs and drinks in the castle were reasonably priced and we were all sat on a table with lots of space around us. The food was of a good standard and the drinks were already there for us to enjoy. The children came away feeling like they had been in battle. We would definitely recommend the medieval night to others coming to the area.

This was fabulous family friendly evening fun . Would totally recommend it . Our children absolutely went home filled with knights and castle dreams which carried on until the next day …. Little dreams suited to future knights and kings dreams . Complete with wooden swords and talks of dragons !

The show was very good and experienced. But the staff was very bad. We asked about the push chair how we can go upstairs but one of the staff just ignored. It is better if you have more English staff.

Our experience was brilliant, we loved the whole event.
I was a little worried about pick-up having read some of the other reviews, however our pickup was only 15 minutes behind schedule which was quite acceptable considering all the places it had been before ourselves and we got to the castle with plenty of time to spare before anything got started.
On arrival you are given a large tabard (either yellow or black) and this determines which side of the arena you will sit on and which team you will support. Some attendees were given tabards with golden edges and symbols on them rather than plain and we gathered this meant they were "VIP" and had paid for some extras on their experience.
The castle is built for purpose, rather than a "real" castle (just to set expectations), however it is really nicely decorated and alot of fun to take a wander through when entering and exiting. You have a photo taken with the king and queen with a sword prop when you first come in, this is then offered to you for 10 euros when you are seated, we bought ours as a keepsake. You do however then have the chance to take your own free photos with the king and queen after the show as well as other members of the cast, though it can be quite hectic at this exiting stage so I couldn't say it would be a guarantee if it gets crowded and you are in a rush.
The show itself is brilliant, the horsemanship on display is excellent especially in full costume. There was also a beautiful bird of prey flown from side to side of the arena as well as some delicate dressage horse displays which were lovely to watch. There is a loose story being told throughout the show but keeping up with it doesn't matter too much as long as you know who you are supporting, and the actors are fantastic at getting the crowd cheering and booing as required. We were laughing, shouting, cheering and clapping all the way through, it really took you somewhere else for a couple of hours.
The food is basic, but this was perfect for us. Soup & bread to start with chicken and potatoes for the main course followed by ice-cream for dessert. Others have turned their nose up at this but it tasted absolutely fine. I have a nut allergy and was 100% prepared to not eat anything provided for the duration of the trip but instead the staff gladly checked whether I could eat the starter and main course (I could) and then they completely surprised me by bringing me a fruit salad instead of ice-cream for dessert so I could partake. For this alone, you get 5*s as this meant so much to me. Thank you!
Good points: The music, the actors, the horsemanship, the staff, the skills on show, the crowd engagement, the aesthetics of the castle and arena.
Places for improvement: Communication after arrival - we didn't really know what was happening for the 30 minutes or so between arrival and entering the arena, so weren't sure if we had time for a drink or if/when we had to go anywhere etc as nobody told us. Just a bit of information here would have helped us feel more settled. Turns out, you literally just wait in that area/sit outside until the doors to the arena open and you go in (after the VIPs have gone in first) - for anyone reading this!
Tips: The arena was hot! They do have big fans going but I would recommend dressing lightly and bringing your own fan if you have one as it gets very warm in there.
Do not expect gourmet food, expect a basic meal themed to a medieval night. It is simple but tasty and stops your tummy from rumbling.
Try and go to the toilet before the show as once you are in your seat, it can be a bit tricky to get out again.
You don't get that long to eat each course and it is easy to get distracted by what is going on, so eat whilst you can!
Overall, we had a great time and left with big smiles on our faces, and a little husky in the throat from cheering so much.

The show was good, the wine was limited, the pick ups were a nightmare. Bus was 15 minutes late collecting us, there were so many pick ups, some of whom were late, we were on the bus an hour & 10 mins, having only gone from Adeje to Christianos finally got to the venue 1 hour 40 mins later. Never again

Great evening and lots of fun. Our transport arrived promptly and no issues here whatsoever. The castle itself is nicely presented with the option of a photo before the antics with the actors.
The games and horse displays are the selling point here, and we really enjoyed these. They’re super energetic with plenty going on from start to finish. The actors interactions with the crowd were great and created an atmospheric evening. Hats off to them all they really gave it 110%!
The food is basic but good, we were lucky to get seconds on the Chicken main so were left pretty full - but again this isn’t the main focus of the trip imo. However, a bucket of 4 beers for €7.50 is a steal!
We’d recommend checking this out if you’re looking for something different and an evening out!

Fun knight out!..good fun for all the family apart from our bus door nearly flying off going down the motorway and the lack of communication from driver and the lady on the bus.
Long ride back to your hotel..or close to your hotel as they do not pick you up as they say from your hotel . First bus needs to be scrapped

Very disappointed, bus was over an hour late, which meant we missed all of the pre show entertainment, the explanation they gave us was a road accident, however we know this to be untrue as the bus was on time for the first passengers that aboarded the coach, and to they told us it was because they were waiting for guests at other hotels that were running late.
The coach was hot, no drinks were offered during the delay and not even an apology. Events we had planned for later in the evening had to be cancelled because we arrived nearly 2 hours late which meant the show didn't end until late.
We paid for the full experience and didn't feel like we had this.
The show itself was brilliant, but events earlier in the night spoilt what should have been an even better experience.
