What To Expect

Your private car transfer starts with a front-door pickup from your hotel or residence in either Palermo or Taormina. There’s no fixed bus or train schedule to follow here: Your driver will arrive at the time you select, so you can relax and avoid a last-minute dash to the station.

Settle into a comfortable, air-conditioned sedan if you’re traveling alone or in a pair. For groups of three to eight adults, you’ll be in a spacious minivan. Child seat’s are included free of charge for families with small children (on request). You'll find bottled water by your seat, so you won’t have to buy drinks along the way.

The drive between Palermo and Taormina takes about three hours. But you’ll get a chance to stretch your legs and take photographs: Your driver will stop at your choice of up to two optional sightseeing stops, like the seaside town of Cefalù. Arrive refreshed and get dropped off right outside your door.

Our driver Joseph was just amazing. He picked us up on time and was very friendly. We encountered some heavy traffic going into Palermo and he handled it like a pro. I would recommend this trip to someone who needs to transfer between Taurmino and Palermo. Joseph spoke very good English and provided us with some interesting information about Sicily.

Driver was 30 minutes late, had to call to check on him. No apology for lateness, nothing said while traveling unless direct question was asked, then sometimes didn’t know answer. Spoke almost no English we had to try and think of different words for what we were asking. Not luxury car or driver, just a regular Catania Taxi Van. Certainly not worth $592.70 US dollar. Worse than most NY drivers if you’ve ever encountered some of them. Will never use this service again.
