We didn't have a good experience with this excursion. We booked a private tour for 8:30am. The day before it was changed to a group tour at 9am. Was picked up at 9:30am. No free time to explore or shop on our own. Were taked to specific shops, rug and spice shops. Then taken to a restaurant not of our choosing. Given a set meal with a set price of $35 a person. Didn't come with admissions to Hercules cave, had to pay ourselves. Be forewarned.

We explained in advance that only a small group tour was available at that time, and you kindly confirmed that it was fine Regarding the restaurant — we always allow guests to choose where they’d like to eat, and on that day we took you to the place you selected. The Hercules Cave entrance fee is not included in the tour price, as mentioned in the description We always do our best to make each experience enjoyable, even during very busy cruise days, and we appreciate your understanding
The tour did not provide some of the things advertised and some things were not as described. The driver was late picking us up and when he did it took him awhile on the phone sorting out the right names he was picking up. The driver first told us we had to pay for entrance to Hercules Cave and camel ride and we had to inform him that it was supposed to be included in the tour. The description did not specify which cave we would enter and of course it was the tiny and cheap one. It was not worth the time. The description said camel ride on the beach but it was just a small spot on the side of the road and only a 5 minute walk in a circle. The visit to the Medina market was a quick walk thru with no time to look around except for this specific rug store we were taken to for a pressured sales pitch to buy something. At this point we were over our 4 hour tour time and we still had not seen other areas of the market, the Kasbah, Moshe Nahon Synagogue and the Tangier American museum. One couple on the group was forcing the rest of us to stand around while the guide let them shop in stores he wanted them to go to. Three of us decided we didn’t want to wait any longer and asked to be taken back to the ship. We were told we could walk or take a taxi back. The guide had no intentions of taking us back to the port because he had let the car go with another driver. He finally took us to a taxi and agreed to pay for it and we were dropped back at the port. I definitely did not get the experience I paid for.

Our guide Abdullah was great and knowkedgable and his driver very capable. We did see most of what was promised but they failed to buy admission into the Cap and part of the caves in Tangier. For what we paid it felt too cheap and shorted us of the full experience. We were dropped off 45 minutes early of a time we agreed upon, shorter than the contracted 4-5 hour tour. Viator also booked us at 12:30am start which should have been 9:30am, causing additional confusion and stress the day before.

We were promised a private tour. Another couple was added to our tour without our consent. They were pleasant. The taxi was too small for all of us.
Our guide seemed a bit disorganized.
He was friendly, but we felt he had an obsession with showing us all of the James Bond filming locations. I’m sure there were more interesting things to see.
Most positive: visiting Hercules Cave and the short camel ride.
Most negative: Pickup, low knowledge tour guides (2), and this was not a “private” tour. Most disappointing Viator experience ever.
This was a very good tour and pickup was right outside the port gate We were left to walk back to the shop from the old market area. This was a very long walk. We should have driven back to the original pickup spot the guides were very good

The guide I had paid in Italian was not there and so I took a tour in Spanish .. It said in the program that you had included several entrances like two museums and a synagogue but it was not like that at all... that is, we did not really go! At cap spartel you don't enter you see it only from the square unless you pay out of your own pocket... same thing to the caves of Hercules you only pass to the free part! I paid about 67€ for a private taxi, without even the air, a camel ride on the beach and explanations given during the drive! The few places visited were all free and so I requested a refund for a tour I didn't do!!! Only positive note the first guide was kind because then they left us to a gentleman who tried only to bring us into the medina to make us spend money!
