Hamza khadar was a great tour guide. He was informative, knowlegable and funny. Never rushed us and was able to avoid the big crowds.
Tour guide was easy to find. Guide, Sharoun, was informative flexible. He adjusted the schedule to avoid crowds which worked perfectly. Great tour.
I would have rated this tour higher but our tour guide spoke limited English and no or limited explanation of our stops or facts about Tangiers When at the caves he dropped us off and told us to return in 30 min. Walking to the caves I overheard another tour guide telling his group about the caves Not happy about this situation. My husband and I did enjoy the Camel ride

This excursion was a great value for the money. Not much to see at the caves, but another good Kodak moment. It was great having a small group and not a bus full of people. The camel ride was fairly tame, as the handlers don’t want you to fall off. A short walk up the beach and back. Expect to wait for your turn if it’s busy. Verify your meeting place as internet was sketchy. Avoid having a double espresso at the start and expect to tip small change for the bathroom. Have fun!

it was a rainy day so that was little bit of a damper on the activities, but overall, a very worthwhile tour. Safouane was a very good guide. I would recommend this trip.

Our driver/guide was Mounir. He has lived in Tangier his entire life and was a wealth of information. He speaks 5 languages, English among them. The area our tour covered was outside the city center, along the coast. The Cap Spartel Lighthouse was scenic, the camel ride entertaining, and the Hercules caves not terribly interesting.

Besides camel ride and old town, disappointing. Did not do everything we were supposed to do. Had guide that hardly spoke English and left us with no guide halfway through tour. Instead of seeing sites, we were required to go to carpet and beauty aid demonstration, which may have been good for Viator if people bought things. We found that very suspicious.

We are particularly disappointed to hear about the communication difficulties, the interruption of guiding services, and the time spent at commercial stops instead of sightseeing. These are not the standards we expect from anyone representing Yalah Travel Morocco.

Great experience of Tangier, we got to see a very beautiful, affluent area that we wouldn't have found on our own (both palaces!). Celia explained each location for us but didn't make it feel like a traditional tourist guide. The views from each location are spectacular and who doesn't love a camel ride on the beach! Bring durhams - the locations charge 5-10 durhams to use the bathroom and to enter the Hercules caves!

It would have helpful to received the pickup directions a couple hours prior to pickup, instead 30 minutes for us. This made pickup a bit messy.

I’ve booked more than 12 tours through Viator, and they have always been great experiences with knowledgeable guides/drivers. Unfortunately, this time was disappointing. Although the driver took us to all the locations listed in the itinerary and we enjoy our day, this was not a guided tour but simply transportation, with no explanations or information about the places we visited. We had to rely on ChatGPT to have a bit of an idea of what we were seeing. Communication was also very difficult, as the driver spoke neither English nor French. Being in Morocco, I had expected that the fact I was speaking French would be an advantage but it was not the case with this driver. We were not sure where we were or how much time we had to spend at any of the landmark we stopped at. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.

I took this tour with Ilyass, who was a very smooth driver in the highways and in the often complicated city, he was also very good at providing explanations, 10/10!
The activities are timed appropriately, enough time to do stuff leisurely. The camel activity was incredible!
You can decide at Cafe Hafa (last stop) whether to stay there or go back with the driver.
Overall very good experience I 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Tangier

Everything is pretty. The Camels involve a bit of a wait on a shameless beach, so be prepared, with sunscreen and water, to spend some time. The big cave is worthwhile, but avoid the little one, as it is simply a tourist trap. Great driver! Good tour.

Nice experience, creating nice memory In Tanger, except Kafa Cafe - nice view but very slow to order, strange serving sweets on the paper direct to the table, quite old table and chairs, preistoric toilets.

This should not be leveled a tour but rather a transportation service. From the beginning, it was a bit of a disaster. I received a text the night before from the tour guide, stating that they would meet us at the port as soon as we got off of the cruise ship. In the text message, it stated that they had special permission from the port to come out to where the cruise ships were located on the dock. There were some tour companies and buses located there however, our tour guide was nowhere to be seen. After looking for 20 minutes, I finally called and was told that I had to walk over to where the mosque was located. The blue sign that was promised was actually a black-and-white sign and that made it difficult to find the driver. We were then walked to a parking lot and finally boarded the van. We had a driver and an escort and very little communication. They both spent the entire trip on their mobile phones and made me nervous on the windy roads. They delivered us to the spots as promised. Cape Spartel is very pretty and worth the trip. The Hercules cave is not. It is a hand dug cave with an opening to the sea that supposedly looks like the map of Africa. It does not. If Hercules was on a bender and wanted to pretend he was in Ibiza, he may have spent a few hours here. The inside of the cave is lit up with poorly designed, disco lights that make it very difficult to see. The area was surrounded by scammers trying to sell you all kinds of worthless junk. The beach is relatively small and smells like camel dung. The camels are small and it appears to be torturous to them to give rides on the beach. Did not feel that the tour delivered as promised and is poorly run.

Regarding the meeting point, our message did not state that your driver would meet you directly beside the cruise ship. We sent meeting instructions in advance, including a photo showing where to meet near the mosque/port exit. The sign used by our team was navy blue with white lettering. We understand how, from a distance, this could have appeared black and white and contributed to the difficulty locating the team, and we are sorry that the meeting process was frustrating.
We are more concerned by your comments regarding phone use during the journey. Our drivers are expected to prioritize safe driving at all times, and our team members should remain attentive to guests throughout the service. We take this feedback seriously and have addressed it internally.
We would also like to clarify the nature of the experience. This is a sightseeing experience with a driver and local companion/escort, visiting the locations advertised in the itinerary. It is not sold as a privately guided historical tour with a certified tour guide providing continuous commentary. Nevertheless, we expect our team to communicate, assist and engage with guests, and we regret that you felt this was simply transportation from one location to another.
Regarding Cape Spartel, Hercules Caves, the camel area and the other attractions, we respect that every traveler may have a different opinion of the places they visit. Those personal impressions are outside our control, but the organization, communication, safety and service provided by our team are our responsibility.

I travelled to Tangier as a female solo traveller and found this tour a great way to see all the most iconic sights of Tangier in a day! Sohayb is a very friendly and hospitable driver and was more than happy to drive me to places not in the itinerary, such as an ATM stop or the grocery store. The driver picked us up on time in a comfortable minivan from the cruise port. Four others were also part of this excursion for a total of 8. They provided water, snacks, and a booklet explaining the history of Morocco and information on the sites. The driver was polite and spoke enough English. He did not provide tour guide type information throughout the city. His main role was driving. This tour was very affordable, reliable, and smooth. The sites and camel ride were great. Just know you will not have a driver who is talking or providing additional information about the attractions. If you are ok with that, then this will be a good tour for you.
