Abdul was amazing, kind, knowledgeable, patient and was beloved by the community. He also had connections to get us the best seat in the house at the best restaurant overlooking the town and ocean. Would highly recommend him! He was waiting with a sign and made the trip so enjoyable and carefree. The community was very friendly as well!

Quick visit to Tangier

I had to cut my time in Tangier short, but my guide (Rashid) was very accommodating and ensured that I saw/visited the major sites. He was also very knowledgeable about the history and significance of the sites. We concluded the tour with my request to visit to a store that featured high quality Moroccan products and crafts. Rashid delivered on this request as well, taking me to a remarkable store I would have never found if touring/searching on my own.

Very well done tour, mixture of walking/car/food tour. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was being pressured into shopping as I’m not the biggest shopper. I do recognize this is a deeply cultural thing, so I understand that. I just wish I had been more prepared prior. Also I’m a solo traveler. Would still recommend to a friend and had a good time regardless!

Tangier for the Uninitiated

We were met at the port by our guide Aziz and his driver for a comprehensive tour of Tangier. We drove out of town past the King’s palace to where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean and enjoyed a camel ride on the beach. Came back to town for a walking tour of the Kasba, such beautiful buildings, while learning about the inhabitants of this icon of Morocco. After leaving the Kasba we entered the Medina, where we purchased cashmere pashminas and enjoyed a delicious Moroccan lunch (€15pp). We then experienced the markets where Berber women were displaying their home grown vegetables, spices, olives, nuts. An assault on the senses and an amazing experience never to be forgotten. We highly recommend this tour.

La excursión fue genial, pudimos conocer lo principal de Tanger, que nos gustó mucho. El guía era encantador, nos explicaba todo, atendía a todas nuestras preguntas, muy simpático. Lo único que no nos gusto tanto fue el sitio al que nos llevó a almorzar, ya que era pensado 100% para turistas y la comida no estaba muy buena, ese fue el único fallo, pero para nosotros muy importante.
