Nice tour of Tangier but a bit disappointing. Communication with the owner, Nabil, was good. Pick up and drop off at the Cruise pier was easy. The reason for the 4 stars was the tour wasn't exactly private. We were first told that because we were on a cruise ship there would be about 7 of us in a roomy bus. No problem and understandable. But, it turned out there was 14 of us which, completely filled the van and as a result limited choice of seating. It also impacted the time we were able to stay in various locations, due to the specific interests and mobility issues of some of the guests. Nothing against those guests, but when you are expecting a "private" tour the result was a bit disappointing. Also, while our guide was very nice, he didn't provide us any history of the sites. It was a nice way to see some of Tangier, just know that if you are booking while part of of a cruise ship, there is nothing private about it.

This was 100% the best tour we have ever had!! Chop chop was amazing - taking us to the best stops and made the day incredible! The restaurant food - WOW!!! Worth every penny and the camel rides were by far the most absolute greatest experience ever!!! When we return to Morocco we will look you up!! Till next time ….

It was wonderful we explored all the main points of the city I will always remember my camel ride chop-chop was our guide and we enjoyed him so much he know everyone Salam is the owner as soon as I made my reservation he called and made sure I had directions on meeting place and time our driver and guide arrived on time and our adventure began if I ever go back to Morocco Tanger Tours will be my first text thank you so much Salam and chop-chop

The experience was amazing as well as the sight seeing, we had the best driver. He made sure we were all comfortable and understood everything we were seeing and doing. This was our first time in Morocco, and the experience was unforgettable. Everything was taken care of from transportation to the tours, there was no wait time and we're able to move straight into the next activity. Our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and patient, they allowed us to shop and take photos while taking us to all the best spots for both. I highly recommend them for first your first time in Tanger. I will be using them again. Amazing trip.

Outstanding communication that started prior to our arrival in Morocco. Provided clear and concise information regarding pick up from ferry when arriving from Spain. .
Picked up from the ferry port in a clean and comfortable luxury vehicle by a safe and courteous driver and tour guide.
Tour itself provided many opportunities for photography, gastronomy, and shopping with local vendors. A unique experience that exposed us to the colorful life in beautiful Morocco.

Nabil was phenomenal!!!! We could not have asked for a better tour guide. Nabil explained the history and shared facts about Morocco that we would not know took us to the best coffee spot in town and the best spot for our lunch plus he treated us to a birthday cake for my husband. The natives all knew him and he is 💯 percent trustworthy!!! Transportation was excellent as well as the driver. You will not be disappointed with Nabil. When we come back we want Nabil.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Nabil and all the others we met along this adventure were amazing. Nabil pointed out all of the different sites and government summer palaces as we drove around the new city. He told us about the growth of Tangier and all of the exciting plans for its future. He was kind, funny and overall just a great person to tour with. It was more like meeting up with a long lost friend to sightsee together than a tour guide. He made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped off the ferry. We had lunch at a fabulous restaurant. The pastilla was the best! We had to cut the shopping short due to catching an early ferry but were able to visit a Berber apothecary for spices and natural remedies. The practitioner at the apothecary was hands down the most educated and instructional person I’ve dealt with when buying local remedies at any market in any city. The antique shop we visited was remarkable and breathtaking. The pieces were beautiful, intricate and stunning works of art. The owner of the shop was delightful and quite the comedian. Everywhere we went we felt welcomed and treated like friends. I will be making many trips to Tangier in the future and I would not trust my journeys to anyone but Nabil. You can rest assured you are safe, will be treated kindly, fairly and have a wonderful experience with Nabil.

Overall I recommend. I got picked up at my hostel by three people in a van: Nabil, the person who will be with you - let's call him the guide - and the driver. All three very kind, eventually it was the driver and the guide. They took me through New Tangier City, then a spot nearby on the coast for a camel ride, and then the lighthouse where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. I booked them for late in the day, otherwise we would've gone to the Hercules Cave. Back to the itinerary, then we went to the medina, where the guide took me to one of the shops if I wanted to purchase anything, and finally to a restaurant for authentic Moroccan (Tangier) food. I was dropped off back at where I stayed. All in all, I highly recommend this service.

Our guide Nabil was very knowledgeable in everything Tangier. It was very nice because there was also a driver of the van, making it so that the driver could focus on driving and Nabil could focus on guiding us. The city was very different than we pictured it would be. We felt safe everywhere Nabil took us. It was very clean. Nabil took us to wonderful places that we would not have seen if not for this tour. We went to many places to get great photos. We went to an authentic Moroccan lunch, and for being very different than the type of food I normally eat, it was very good. After lunch we were led around to some shops. The only reason we are not giving 5 stars is because we booked a private tour and because the cruise ship changed days we ended up being with two other groups. We would absolutely book this tour again and recommend it to anyone that wants to see Tangier.

Nabil was a fun and charismatic tour guide. Lunch was great, the tour was interesting and informative. After lunch, I would maybe wander the souks yourself to cover more ground and go where you want to. He even had the restaurant make my mom a birthday cake for her 80th. Definitely worth it.

Loved my experience! I booked a last minute trip and they were able to accommodate to and my husband. Easy to book. They had a driver pick us up right at the ferry terminal when we arrived. The driver was super friendly and drove us to see some sightseeing and photo ops. Then they took us to go eat some delicious traditional Moroccan food. Afterwards we did a walking tour with some shopping included. They dropped us back off at the ferry terminal at the end of the day! Felt very safe the whole time. I will be booking again! This was a wonderful tour, and our guide was terrific. He, however, lead us to his friends and family’s shops in town to see their wares, which was a little awkward. But overall, it was a very good experience and loved the camel ride on the beach!

I was disappointed in the tour which is very unusual for me. They were timely pick ups and we stopped for photos in a few places. However, we did not gain any information of the area or the history of the city. Our tour guide who spoke reasonable English spent the majority of his time on his cell phone and then “transferred” responsibility of our private. 4 person, group to his Uncle after the bus tour. We then had a WONDERFUL lunch and walked through the Old Town. “Uncle was Very kind and considerate but did not speak much English. Once again, almost no information of the areas history. Just disappointed…

I traveled to Morocco with my family via ferry! Nabil was our guide and was great! He reached out 2 nights before and thank god he did because he helped us realized we had the wrong ferry port booked! If it were not for his proactive communication we would’ve been stuck and lost! The pick up was easy— his assistant had a sign right in front and made it an easy smooth transition! Nabil and his driver were the best! We felt safe and secure. Nabil was so personable and engaged! He was very knowledgeable about the history. He knew great picture spots,etc. He truly wanted to create a positive and customized tour experience! He asked multiple times and allowed us to skip/add stops to truly ensure we enjoyed everything we did (which is rare on tours) but he truly allows you to choose what you wish to do! He gave great recommendations —especially for the moroccan food restaurant which he took us to (it is not included in the price but fairly cheap for a 5 course meal and he takes you and waits for you) It was so delicious and the staff was so friendly — explained their meals and traditions. it was truly such a great experience. Nabil was the best! This tour is a MUST!

This could have been a five star review but we had to walk far from the cruise ship because the tour company could not enter where the other tour buses and vans were. We had to ask numerous people where this tour company normally picked up. Also it was supposed to be a small group tour but turned out to be a private tour for my wife and I (which was great) but maybe for this change was over twenty minutes late resulting in my frantically asking other tour guides to contact the company. Our tour guide, Abdul, was fantastic and the best driver ever in negotiating the tight driving and parking areas of Tangier. He took us to all the places and sites we desired and were promised. The camel ride on the beach was certainly the highlight and Hercules Cave and Cap Spartel were also nice. It seemed Abdul knew everyone and his warm personality was often advantageous. We ended up at the Medina and wished we could have just taken our time on our own but it was late in our tour and though Abdul helped we didn't quite find what we hoped but were reasonably happy with the results, despite the frustrating bargaining. Abdul kindly drove us to the Celebrity Shuttle Bus area which thankfully brought us back to the ship avoiding the long long walk we started the day with. Thanks Abdul. You were a five out of five.

We were on this tour with Chop Chop and he did an excellent job! He took very good care of us all day. I got injured ( no fault of the tour) and he made sure to find me some first aid attention. If I did it again, I would skip the meal. We were not prepared for the expense and we had little choice on what we were given. Consequently, we did not eat a lot of it. The experience in the restaurant was interesting, though. I would have used the time to wander the Medina a bit while they ate. My highlight was the camel ride on the beach. Chop Chop took our photos for us and they were perfect!!! Thanks, Chop Chop!

We had a fantastic experience with Nabil and his team! Nabil was proactive with his communication beforehand via WhatsApp and was eager to adjust the tour as needed to cater to what we wanted to see. Everything was well-organized and he was very knowledge about the city, its history, and all of the sights we visited. Would definitely recommend.

This says private tour however, it was not. We were called ahead of time and told they could not accommodate a private tour due to the amount of people and could cancel. We chose not to but were also told our group would not exceed 10 people and it was 20. But this is not even the reason for the poor rating. Nabil was nice and his English was excellent however the tour states you will go to the Caves of Hercules which we did but no one on our tour wanted to enter the cave so we felt we could not since it would make them wait.
After the caves we were supposed to go to Cap Spartel lighthouse and enjoy coffee or juice (as stated in itinerary). We did not go there at all and when asked by myself and another guest, he said, no we did go, that was the beach.
We rode camels on the beach which was fun but quick and mostly entailed waiting in line.
We ended at the town where we had lunch and instead of being allowed to meander in the streets/ships were forced into 2 specific shops and then yelled at by Nabils uncle if we tried to go somewhere else.
We chose not get back in the bus from town to return to our boat since it was so early but instead rented a taxi for $20 euros and went to Cap Spartel, back to camels and even stopped at the park again. It was amazing.
My recommendation, save the money on this tour and rent a taxi for a fraction of the price and it will actually be private.!

Really, really good; covered everything expected, knowledgeable and English fluent guide. There were just 4 of us in the 7 passenger van. I didn't feel Tangier was quiet as touristy as most European stops. The medina, casbah, souk seemed pretty authentic to me (yes, there was a carpet stop). Just residents living their lives, little kids on their scooters bumping into us in the narrow alleyways (it was a school holiday😊). One concern; the lunch was great (20 Euros pp), but the dining room for our group was upstairs. The only way up was a narrow, slick stone spiral staircase with no handrails. One lady with a cane fell (she was able to get up), but there were two waiters who made sure it didn't happen again on the way back down. After lunch and a couple of more walking stops, the guide said we could have more time to walk around and shop on our own if we wanted. We were 65-70ish and had already walked 10,000 steps, so we said "take us home."😃

From the beginning/ booking, I sensed this would be a better than normal experience I spoke with Nabil late-ish the night before and didn't even have a booking yet. He took the time to explain everything about the tour and several times told me o could customize essentially as much as I wanted.
We decided on a private day and made the booking. I had just experienced cooking a private day tour in Gibraltar and getting both overcharged then rushed since the other party (on my private tour) didn't book all the things we did. That guide also skipped one of the stops. Then I saw the comment in a previous Nabil review stating the same. I asked about it and it was clear that Nabil was unhappy about that review as he took it as an insult since it seemed not to be true. He assured me our tour would be private (it was).
Nabil asked us several times during the tour if there was anything we wanted to do different. We asked for vegetarian meals and he accommodated...every person in the restaurant knew and reiterated vegetarian (wife has seafood allergies on top of our choices).
Each spot was explained with gusto.
His uncle met us and said "vamos" a lot lol. His english wasn't perfect (another complaint of a previous reviewer) but it was fine for the day.
One of the things I can't stand about tours is when they take you to shops where a hard sell is done. Without even asking, the moment I expressed a doubt, he stood up and said "ok let's go" and said something to the shop owner. It was greatly appreciated and I told him so.
He helped us with the ferry from Spain. He had a good sense of humour and told some good stories.
It was, in all, a good day.
