The class was okay, the dumpling recipe was faulty, too much gel was added, so the dumplings were gel dumplings instead of soup dumplings, which rendered them inedible. Furthermore, we were told that photos of the class would be provided, but we never received them. After contacting the company twice about the photos, my requests were simply ignored and not answered.

A Fun Class with Great Food

Had a lot of fun in this cooking class with Cookinn Taiwan. Our group was only 4 people, so a bit more intimate with 1 instructor looking after all of us. The instructor spoke English well, was helpful and professional. For the class we actually made 3 dishes: xiao long bao, boba tea, and a smashed cucumber salad. All the dishes were delicious and easy to make. The provided recipe book at the end was already really nice, having step by step instructions with drawn images of each step. The added photograph to the booklet was a nice touch as well. This was a good class and I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn some cooking while in Taipei.
