Thank you Arana for a wonderful day in the Blue mountains! Your knowledge, helpfulness AND humor really made the day special for my wife and I. (and a huge thanks to the crew for rescuing my walking stick.) CHEERS! Your trip was the perfect way to experience the area. I highly recommend this tour.

The wildlife park was definitely my favorite. Unfortunately the weather didn’t agree that day regarding blue mountain and 3 sisters views, but that’s no one’s fault.
The hike is more difficult than I expected with A LOT of steps. The guide blew past us all and didn’t give many breaks for people. The bus also broke down at the end. We were refunded for the train ticket back. If the day is clear, I’d say it’s worth it and recommend it, if rainy/foggy, probably not.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thanks Olivia for the feedback. A challenging day with weather compounded by the bus having the mechanical issue. We appreciate your patience when we switched to Plan B

Despite the rain, the trip was worth doing. Our guide, Ronnie, was knowledgable and entertaining. We enjoyed the day.
Response from Host, May 2026
We're glad Ronnie could turn the day around despite the weather!

Perfect day! Fernando was an incredible tour guide- knowledgeable, fun and so helpful! So many beautiful pictures were taken on this trip. Highlight was feeding the kangaroos! Just be aware that at the end, there were a lot of steps involved with some steep uphill climbs. However, the views were very worth it. Lovely day and again huge shoutout to our lovely tour guide for making it great!!
Response from Host, May 2026
Wow, we'll pass these nice words onto Fernando. We're glad you enjoyed, thank you for joining and for the lovely review!

We had the pleasure of having Gil as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We had the best time seeing Koalas and other animals at Featherdale then hiking the gorgeous blue mountains.
Response from Host, May 2026
He's great! We'll make sue to pass on the nice words. Thank you for joining us!

Sites visited were excellent. Be ready for a tough hike though when you get to the waterfall. Our guide/driver made it easier and fun for us - a great guy!!!
Response from Host, May 2026
We're glad to hear helped make the experience a good one!

Excellent tour and our driver was really friendly and knowledgeable. She made the trip very enjoyable.

I think overall this tour is for a younger crowd. The overview and waterfall both include substantial walks/hikes down paths/steps which are easy enough to go down, but then you have to go back up! The falls we could see from the top did not look impressive enough to venture down, so we skipped. The animal park was nice, and the stop in the little town for lunch was decent. I think other tours with less walking would have been a better pick for us.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback. For us it's not so much people's age but more their level of fitness and mobility. You made a smart decision to not descend to the bottom of the steps!
rkstrasbu, Apr 2026
This was advertised as a maximum of 20 guests; we had 26. The guide was so far ahead we couldn't hear and very few stops to admire the scenery. Arana also told us to hike to the 3 sisters view but the viewing area was actually better. She never described why 3 sisters was important. I had to Google it.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your review. We have passed on your comments to your guide who provides commentary on the bus and at points on the walking track where the group can gather.

I had the most amazing experience today on this tour with Arana as the guide. I am traveling solo and was nervous I wouldn’t get to socialize, but there were a ton of other solo travelers, and even the ones not solo traveling were very friendly. Everyone in the group had different backgrounds which made it super fun to get to know everyone.
We got picked up at a convenient location and made our way to featherdale wildlife park. I didn’t know what to expect but it exceeded everything. We were able to get up close with many of the animals!
After that, we made our way to our hike. The hike was moderately difficult, but Arana took us on a route that allowed us to see so many amazing things that I forgot we were hiking 3 miles. Once we made it to the trickier part of the hike, we had the option to continue down to the bottom of the waterfall or stay at the top of the stairs. I was nervous to go down but decided to anyway. It was worth the energy! I have never seen such beautiful views.
After the hike, we made our way to Katoomba for lunch which we did on our own. May of us went to the same restaurants and got to socialize some more.
Finally, we made our way to the three sisters. This was a great view, but after seeing them, we made our way back.
10/10 tour. Truly recommend to anyone that is capable of a moderate hike.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Wow, thank you for the kind words. We're glad you had a great time. We will tell Arana about this too.
Andy_S, Apr 2026
Excellent tour. A full minibus of 26 mixed age, mixed nationalities, was ably led by our driver/guide. Great information at each stop, and a really good hike along the trail…
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for spending time with us!
Steve_W, Apr 2026
It does involve hiking (it is why I selected it) on very well maintained trails. I had over 16,000 steps. Our guide, Ronnie was great, entertaining and knowledgeable. I'm 76 and did ok. My wife did not want to take all of the walks and Ronnie always was there to accommodate her. Great job.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
We're glad you enjoyed with Ronnie! Thank you for your review.
Romeo_A, Mar 2026
Travelers aged 60 years old and older must be strictly warn not to go down to the water falls because its pathways are not developed yet and very rough with no handrails most of the stairs so it’s very risky to go down and go up again for an equivalent of 60 storeys building. This is really not a good tour for elderly people.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thanks Romeo. It's not so much the age, but the mobility or fitness level of some of our guests who we ask them not to descend, but sometimes they absolutely insist on doing it. We're working on how we can best manage these situations so that no one is adversely impacted

Nature has a way of calming the sole and the Australian wilderness on Blue Mountain is especially beautiful. If you love to walk this tour will amaze you.

From the pick in the city. Comfortable bus ride

And views of the blue mountains

The view and the hike were very good. However, it was very steep trail going down to the Wentworth water falls.
We had a nice driver/ tour guide whose name is Guil. He was very kind, always smiling, told us stories about Blue Mountains, helped one of us who did not feel well on the way hiking up.
We had great experience. Thank you, Guil.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
We are glad Guil made the experience a good one for you!
Jim_T, Mar 2026
Some steep walking, fantastic views. Guide Ronnie was entertaining and knowledgeable and adjusted the timing to best advantage as we had a couple of rain showers. Visited a great little zoo and plenty of time for lunch
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Glad to hear you enjoyed with Ronnie despite the weather! Thank you for the kind words
Tammy_C, Feb 2026
Featherdale Wildlife zoo was an absolute highlight - to be able to get so close to kangaroos and koalas was incredible. Our waterfall hikes were majestic as well. Our guide was kind and a skilled driver, but couldn’t tell you anything deeply about the sites you’re seeing, so be prepared to do some self learning if you care to know more.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for the honest review, we'll take note of this. We're glad you enjoyed nonetheless!
Celine_C, Feb 2026
The tour was very well organized, the tour guide Fernando was very friendly and took care of everyone of the group. Even though the weather wasn‘t very good, we had an amazing day. There were only 20 people in our group, that was great.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
We're glad Fernando took care of everyone well! Thanks for spending time with us!

Gil did a great job narrating and driving our van. He showed us the awesome Blue Mountains and took us on the most beautiful hike with rock formations, waterfalls and many different plants. Gil was full of information about everything we saw. This was fun and a very worthwhile excursion! We highly recommend Gil’s excursion.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
We're glad to hear you had a good time with Guil! Thanks for the positive review.
Carolyn_S, Jan 2026
Our guide Ronnie was very professional, informative and punctual. We had plenty of time to enjoy all the animal sites at Featherdale and still visited and often hiked to the best overlooks or waterfalls in the Blue Mountains. The hiking can be quiet strenuous for anyone with a knee or respiratory problem or a senior. Ronnie was always mindful of the safety needs of his passengers and would give insightful information. We had ample time for lunch and never felt rushed at any of the overlooks. Highly recommend Ronnie and Colourful Tours.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Ronnie is amazing! We're glad you had a good time with him. Cheers!

Our driver / host RnR (not correct spelling) was great. She looked after us and offered solutions.
There is some walking and decent shoes will help.
Recommend the day, good value.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thanks Paul! Glad you enjoyed the day out with Arana. We agree, proper footwear is a must for bushwalking!
I_S, Jan 2026
Super good 👍, small group by small bus, and a cool guy: park waterfall mountain and a lot of fun 🤩 and good selfie pics
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thanks for travelling with us!
Carol_M, Nov 2025
Excellent trip, well worthdoing. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Good explanation of itinery. Featherdale Wildlife Park was hands on and excellent opportunity to see Koala Beats and Wallabies up close. I would ha e preferred a lu ch stop at Leura as more to offer than Katomba which was pretty run down. Blue Mountain walks and look outs were fantastic. Scenic World is not a theme park so do it as it both educational and offers amazing views.
The walk down through the tropical forest was beautiful but not for the faint hearted as you have to walk back up approx 450 steps.
Overall excellent value and a day to remembet.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you for the 5 stars!
William_S, Nov 2025
Our tour guide, Ronnie, went out of his way to show everyone a great time. He was funny and took us to several amazing sights in the Blue Mountains, filling us in on the history, geography, and plants and animals on the way. Five stars all the way!
Response from Host, Jan 2026
We appreicate the lovely feedback and the 5 stars!
Kelly_S, Nov 2025
Gorgeous area, worth the trip! Our guide was fantastic; entertaining, knowledgeable and thoughtful. The animal excursion was interactive and nice to see them up close, all the unique Australian animals and birds we really wanted to see. Enjoyed our hike to the waterfall as well near 3 sisters.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thanks for the 5 stars, Kelly!

Guillerme was an awesome tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly and caring. All the stops - Featherdale, waterfall hike, Lincolns Rock - were outstanding. This was an excellent value and a great contrast to the city.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thanks for the 5 stars, James. It is one of the best tours out there if you want to take a break from the city and get closer to nature 😁
Darlene_Y, Oct 2025
This tour was lots of fun. We had an awesome tour guide named Gil who is from Brazil. We started the tour at the Wild Animal Park where we saw koalas, kangaroos and lots of other animals and birds. After spending an hour and a half at the Park, Gil gave everyone a small clip-on koala. Then Gil drove to the Blue Mountains and told us the history of the Blue Mountains and the Three Sisters. We stopped at a lookout area to take pictures, and Gil was so nice he offered to take pictures of us. Gil also took us on a hike in the rainforest and we saw the waterfalls. Gil was such a great tour guide. I highly recommend this tour with Gil.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thanks for the detailed review, Darlene! Sounds like a perfect day!
