Our driver, Irene was great. In addition to excellent driving skills, she went out of her way to explain everything about our excursion. Then along the ride she gave us interesting explanations about the city of Sydney, transportation tips and interesting information about the Blue Mountains explorers. The mountains themselves were extraordinary.

Blue mountain visit -amazing once in a lifetime visit travelled from UK

Angela_C, Apr 2026
So humbling to be able to visit and experience this area. We had a visit to a zoo and local village (Leura) before going to three sisters at Echo point and onto scenic world.

Look for other tours.

Elizabeth_B, Apr 2026
Great variety of pickup spots and the bus was comfortable. After I got on, I found that all the other passengers had booked directly with the company website - and had an additional tour option. In fact, I had to show the itinerary to the bus driver because he was not aware of it. My option was to go on my own for the walk at the end or find a way to get online to get a ticket for that other option. I really wanted to go for a walk and did not think that other option would be worth the money. 1. The zoo was okay. I did not realize the option to be able to feed a kangaroo. Besides Australian animals, the zoo had African animals and some dinosaur animatronics but that was all. 2. The next stop after the zoo were to places to eat and shop. 3. The third stop was to an overlook and where you could also eat/shop. 4. And the last stop is where the other bus passengers had their additional activity. The driver led me to a path where I could walk and I had a time to get back. But I found that many of the paths were being reconstructed with detours and the one that was not was a LOT of steps down (and up). And no "complimentary aboriginal cultural talk with an experienced guide" So basically the tour consisted of activities I could to for the cost of a bus ticket.

We had a great day. Paul...

We had a great day. Paul was friendly, helpful, knowledgable of the Blue Mountain area, he even went out of his way to show us how to buy tickets for the ferry.

A Good Day’s Trip

Danny_C, Feb 2026
Pickup was punctual and luckily we were one of the first onboard. Irene, our driver, gave us a running commentary on our way around the city pointing out the salient spots. Irene, I should explain is an Aussie with a great Aussie sense of humour and has a colorful way about her. Our first stop was the Sydney Zoo where besides the exotic animals we were reminded of the broad range of fauna and of the creatures that can kill you. An early lunch at a small village called Leura in preparation for a longer stay at the Blue Mountain’s viewing area and the opportunity to ride on the cable cars. We finished the tour at the Olympic Park ferry pier where we were able to catch the ferry back to Circular Quay. I thought this was an added bonus. Payment for the ferry ride was additional but easy. One can use the tap-on/tap-off facility with one’s credit card and then it’s just sit back and relax. It was a great tour and I would recommend it to all ages.

Great driver, great excursion

Emma was a great driver...

John_C, Feb 2026
Emma was a great driver and guide She gave out an appropriate amount of information and was willing to answer my questions. The only "issue " was the detours at the Blue Mtns. We still managed to have a good walk. It would have been better to have Emma lead the walk. If course, she had no control over the detours. Emma was great at the ferry helping all who needed her assistance . I Would recommend Viator and Emma. I thought a great value to see the zoo and the Blue Mountains.

Excellent day and well executed

Magdalena_M, Feb 2026
The experiences themselves were incredible, but the day itself was planned very well. The zoo, lunch, blue mountains and scenic world were all amazing and there was no idle or wasted time, even with a large group. We felt we had enough time to enjoy everything but didn’t feel bogged down being with a group. Irene is very passionate about her job and you can tell she genuinely cares about the groups experience

Breathtaking and Exhilarating experience at Blue Mountains

DAVID_I, Feb 2026
Breathtaking experience of natural beauty at the three sisters and katoomba falls coupled with exhilarating travel through three technical marvels at Scenic world

A wonderful day exploring

Carolyn_N, Feb 2026
A great full day experience exploring the Sydney Zoo, a local town for lunch, and plenty of time to explore the fabulous Blue Mountains. Mark was an interesting guide with lots of local information. My only concern was that our tickets for the scenic World were not included and had to be purchased separately, so that was a minor inconvenience. Double check what’s on offer-if it seems too cheap, that’s why.

Excellent!

YoungEun_K, Jan 2026
Pick up was too late from 7:55. Bush walk with driver was wonderful. We need some water in bus and extra.. Tour costs were little expensive than the content's of day tour.

I booked a Blue Mountains...

Lisa_L, Dec 2025
I booked a Blue Mountains day tour via Viator for $159, expecting it to finish around 6:30 PM. However, it ended at 4:30 PM. The guide gave minimal commentary, and cable car tickets weren’t included. While the tour covered the Blue Mountains and the zoo, the biggest issue was the drop-off. We were picked up in Sydney CBD but dropped at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf, leaving us to find our own way back. This was inconvenient and unclear. I’d like to file a complaint about the early finish and the unexpected drop-off location.

Gabriel was very friendly and gave a lot of information

Henri_B, Dec 2025
Gabriel our driver was great. We booked our tour with Viator ($116 aus) We were picked up on a “sightseeing tours Australia” bustour! The other people on the bus paid $99 (aus) for the same trip. You better book it with “Sightseeing tours Australia” To save the money. Same trip only $17 (aus) less. The tour was worthwhile.

Be Careful when booking, especially when the page crushes

Elema_A, Dec 2025
Be very careful when booking, as the page may crush on you a few times and resets just some of the details, e.g. the date, so my booking jumped to the following day from what I wanted to be a January booking. Of course, it is my fault for not checking the details the 3rd time the page crushed while at payment stage...

The lunch stop was a bit...

Simon_G, Oct 2025
The lunch stop was a bit early for lunch. It would have been better to have had longer at Scenic World so that there was time to both have lunch and go on the cable car to see the dinosaurs.

Great value and worthwhile

Abbey_C, Sep 2025
Mark is a passionate and knowledgeable tour guide. I learnt a lot about the history, fauna and flora of Australia and the Blue Mountain region.

Great combination of activities

hokefam, Sep 2025
We really enjoyed the tour, especially for the combination of activities, which most other tours we looked at didn't have. The Sydney Zoo was a nice inclusion...small enough to really see the animals, and including a very interesting presentation. We also liked the option of a "bush walk" over time at Scenic World, which most other tours didn't offer. We enjoyed the walk and beautiful views! Taking the ferry back was on our own, but our bus driver made sure that everyone got onboard, and it was a lovely way to end the day on the water rather than just another bus ride.

Our tour guide/driver...

duangnapas, Jun 2025
Our tour guide/driver lady was very friendly and has a great sense of humor. The tour was very informative and a stop at Sydney Zoo was memorable. Highly recommended ❤️

I'm leaving 5 stars...

Naim_Y, Jun 2025
I'm leaving 5 stars mainly for the guide who was very good. The amount of time at each activity was good, and felt like a good 1 day trip from Sidney. Blue Mountain is amazing, beautiful sights but the zoo, unless this is your only chance in Australia to view these animals, I would say skip. A lot of animals were not in their enclosures, or still asleep when we got there, and some animals could have benefited from more space.

Hope to be better

Yanjie_Z, Apr 2025
The pickup time on the final ticket clearly write 7 am, but my confirmation query and the actual pickup time was 8 am. We got up very early and waited more than 1 hour for the pickup. I guess this kind of mistake is caused by business to business miscommunication. Blue Mountain usually is very popular but caused big traffic. Our tour started at 8 am and went to Sydney Zoo at first to spent more than 1 hour. Than we had to pay the traffic cost and reduced the Blue Mountain visiting time. I suggest if the operator company like many other competitor companies started from 7 am and visited Sydney Zoo in return time, we could add 2-3 hours to visit the big Blue Mountain National Park’s one more location, e.g., the botanical garden or the beautiful lake. Possible?

Blue Mountains fab tour.

Alison_N, Apr 2025
Fab tour of the Blue Mountains and Sydney Zoo. Guide was great. Scenic World optional extra. We didn't do that but did a self guided bush walk instead which took us to all the look outs. Would recommend.

Wonderful day in the Blue Mountains

Dulcie_L, Apr 2025
We waited about an hour to be picked up (along with others), as we were not informed that the pickup time at our pickup location was an hour later than posted. Once the tour began everything was great. Our tour guide was engaging and pointed out interesting sights along the way. The trip to the Sydney Zoo was ok...we saw kangaroos and koalas, a Tasmanian devil and an emu. The highlight of the trip was the Blue Mountains...absolutely gorgeous scenery. We opted to do the bush walk after lunch rather than take the gondola ride at Scenic World. The weather was perfect and the lookout point views were amazing. So glad we did this tour!

The lunch was not...

Rohit_L, Mar 2025
The lunch was not provided despite taking meal options. We were asked to pay for ferry on our way back.Very unprofessional

Great Tour Guide/Driver

Renaldy_R, Feb 2025
The experience is amazing, the lady bus driver/guide is a local sydney and she was very kind and providing us with so many information and tips for this blue mountain trip and also traveling tips in sydney.

Good bit of walking, great tour guide! Tour ends at p Olympic Park, so you still have to buy an $11 boat ticket to return to Sydney !

Great tour! Ample time at...

Olivia_B, Jan 2025
Great tour! Ample time at the Sydney zoo, and although we were late leaving the city our excellent tour guide re-routed our trip so we still had the allocated 1.5 hours at the zoo. Fed kangaroos and had the opportunity to take a $20 photo with a koala. You were not able to hold the koala, so I opted out of this, and thus had enough time to see all of the Australian animals, primates, aquarium and nocturnal animals as well as elephants. Others that took the photo opp were not able to do as much as this. Then we went to lunch in Leura. Cafe leura offers a kangaroo burger, and had ample time to eat and stock up on snacks at woolworths down the road. Then off to Echo point lookout, where we were given 30 minutes to see the three sisters and blue mountain. This is where my section of the tour should have been able to start the Prince Henry Cliff walk. Was a bit confused with the itinerary as a card placed in the seat on the bus stated that “sightseeing tours” would be stopping at scenic world blue mountains, and my itinerary had the prince Henry cliff walk in place. A message to the tour operator (office in Melbourne) stated that I would be free to go on the walk when the three sisters lookout was completed, however the tour guide driving the bus stated I had to stay with the group and could do the portion of the walk from scenic world. Was disappointed by this, as I had desired to do the 8 km portion and instead was only able to do 3km of the hike due to the timing with the other participants going to scenic world. I believe this should be better listed, and better communication between the driver and tour operator. All in all an excellent day, but I do believe Viator should list that the tour must go to scenic world, and then you have two hours to do a portion of the cliff walk.

Decent tour, lots to see

Lorilyn_L, Jan 2025
Great variety of events, perfect for the price. Emma was amazing and proficient. I recommend........

This was a really...

Leona_M, Oct 2024
This was a really enjoyable tour. Additional time is needed at the Australian Zoo as there's a lot to do within the hour. The Blue Mountains are seeped in heritage and culture and are a must see on a trip to Sydney. Irene is a very knowledgeable tour guide and provided lots of information throughout the day.
