Great small group day trip! Caryn was a fantastic guide - she provided an extensive amount of knowledge and information about Australia and the Blue Mountains specifically throughout the day, she had an awesome sense of humor and she was a great driver!

I suggest more communication about pickup and tour logistics. New shocks in the rig would be helpful. Great commentary on birds and passion on birds! 5 stars overall.

Thank you Steven for your feedback. Great to hear that our guide made your day a 5 star day. we will have our mechanic inspect the vehicle and its shocks. Regards

The tour guide for this tour was great, Paul was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He took care of us and had great stories about the area as well as history.
What was disappointing was almost everything else. Not all tour activities were included: we did not stop at all the stops and we’re giving no explanation why and we’re not given any complementary wine or refreshments at the botanical gardens. The botanical gardens was also a very short stop, we barely had time to walk through it. The animal sanctuary was the highlight. Overall, I think this tour is extremely expensive for what you get (e.g.: lunch is just a lunch is just a turkey sandwich and you don’t even get a break to eat it, you’re just expected to eat it on the bus.) This should be half the price at most.

Hi Claire. Thank you for your feedback. with a review like this, you can be certain we investigate thoroughly. All our vehicles are fitted with GPS devices and dash cameras, so this helps us with our investigation. What i can see is that you had 1 hour at the animal farm, which is what we allow for, then you had 35 minutes at the first Blue Mountains lookout, and 15 minutes at the Three Sisters Lookout, you were then taken to your hike which we allow 1.5 hours on average to complete. you arrived at the beginning of the hike at 11:56am and you were departing the end of the hike at 13:38pm . This indicates you had 1 hour 42 minutes for the hike. I am surprised to hear about your picnic lunch, as these are made by a highly respected cafe in the Blue Mountains and includes more than just a sandwich.
I appreciate you have a right to a review, however i can see no part of our tour was missed.
Regards

This was a great chance to see the Blue Mountains. We chose the tour that had a hike and picnic lunch, and I was really glad we did, because while we got to get out to explore the mountains, the rest of the tour went to a restaurant for lunch and never really got an opportunity to see the mountains up close, just little overlooks. They probably had a better lunch than ours, but it was worth it. The hike took us just about an hour and it did finish with a pretty steep climb (on steps), but it wasn't too taxing otherwise. The drive to and from was longer than I expected (about 1.75 hours on the return), but it was still worthwhile.

Fantastic vistas and photo ops. Time to explore Richmond - cutest little town! The wildlife sanctuary is intimate and close up, holding koalas are no longer allowed. Small group, comfortable seating and Paul was a wealth of information. You can see his passion for his work.

A great day spent in the Blue Mountains. So many magnificent views. Our driver, Billy, was awesome and so knowledgeable about plants, wildlife and history. Kept to the schedule and timed everything just right.

Billy the tour guide was excellent at providing context both from an entertaining as well as educational perspective. Great variety and packed itinerary.

This was a great experience and it was made extra special by our tour guide Karyn, immensely knowledgeable about the history and shared with us.

Tons of fun! Got to see all kinds of lovely animals. Rigorous hike ended with sparkling wine! Yum! I had an allergy and Paul was very accommodating for lunch!

Wonderful interactive tour. Small group. Only five of us and the your guide who was excellent. But I can't remember her name. 🤦🏼♀️
Had two wonderful walks and stopped on one to have lunch with a fantastic view. I like active tours and this was perfect!!!

The excursion was only 8 people, We were the only two that hiked. When I booked I thought most of the tour would be hiking. We just were dropped off on a trail and told to take it to the end and the tour guide would pick us up in 75 minutes. My husband and I were the only ones of the eight that hiked. The visits to the farm and botanical gardens were great, and the 3 sisters. We did NOT get wine as advertised. The vehicle and guide were nice. Just thought we would have a guided hike.

Perfect tour to see the sights and get a nice hike in the middle. Excellent lunch to pack and have half way through the hike. The small tour size was perfect. Our tour guide was highly knowledgeable in giving history of the sights. Would highly recommend this tour.

The views were unparalleled, and the entire day was wonderful. I highly recommend doing the breakfast with the koalas!

Our driver, Peter, provided excellent guidance and informative commentary throughout our trip. The breakfast with the koalas at Featherdale was amazing. Great hike. Strongly recommend this trip.

Dear Maria. Thank you for taking the time to review our product. And i sincerely apologise we did not provide the audio device. I have investigated this, and have discovered that there was an error made by our office, when creating your booking. And the audio device was not mentioned to your driver/guide which is why he did not have one for you. Please get in contact directly with us at info@aealuxury.com.au so we can provide you with a refund. use our reference B053221 in your email, Thank you
