Very informative, good stopping points. Look for Bernard’s tours in the port, don’t follow the map it’s wrong.

St. Maarten's is absolutely beautiful!! Our tour guide (The Mailman) did a great job of showing us the entire island! There's so much to see there and they also have some very good bakery's!! We had a fantastic day!

The meet up point was a bit unorganized. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our booking time. We were told to have a seat and after waiting for almost an hour, we were never checked in and had to be placed with a different group. The tour guide took us to a restaurant for lunch (to which he seemed to know one of the employees personally). We waited a very long time for our food and because of that, we could not enjoy lunch in the restaurant, instead, had to carry it out and eat it uncomfortably on our laps. Everything felt very “winging it”. The morning was rainy so maybe that contributed to the not so great experience.

What a FANTASTIC day!!
Alex of Bernard's Tours was an amazing host on Sint Maarten/Saint Martin. He was so fun and informative, bringing us all over the island. He stopped at many beautiful places so we could take pictures, an Iguana farm, and an early afternoon stop at the gorgeous Orient Bay Beach. After a dip and a beach-side beverage, we went onto the capital, Marigot, to enjoy some French pastries on our own. We then went to famous Maho Beach in time for the international jets arriving at Princess Juliana International literally over our heads while on the gorgeous (small) beach.
Alex had a cooler filled with ice cold water, soda, and his uncle Bernard's famous rum punch--served in small 2 oz cups for a reason!
We would recommend this excursion to anyone and everyone who is visiting for their first, or thirty-first visit to this spectacular island.

This is a must when visiting St Maarten. Mailman was our guide. He knows both sides of the island. Very informative and lively. His rum punch is so yummy. Best tour we have ever taken.

The Mailman did not disappoint with his knowledge of the islands and picking the best stops to enjoy our day. We had an enjoyable and relaxing day. The French pastries are always a treat and seeing the planes at Maho checked off a new site for us on this trip.

We had so many laughs with THE MAILMAN! He made the tour what it was! We had a very difficult time finding where our tour was and then the owner of Noel Taxi helped me to find out who our tour operator was. Turns out we were standing in front of the tour operator THE WHOLE TIME! We had a good laugh about that.
The tour was informative and good fun. I would highly recommend this tour to EVERYONE looking to have a good time. I made LIFELONG friends on this tour.

We had some trouble locating the meeting point as our information just said meet on the pier. Pier staff got us pointed in the right general direction but still didn't find it. Two phone calls still didn't get us there and we finally found it by sheer luck so that was stressful. We had an early boarding time for our ship but still felt we were good with a 4 1/2 hour tour that should have had us back by 2:30 with our half an hour late start. Driver started taking us on Adventure Tour 1 but we got it straightened out early on. Seeing the island including a stop in Marigot, Grand Case beach and Maho beach was wonderful with additional stops along the way. The driver had another tour group employee on board and Daniella was the one trying to keep us on time (thank goodness!). The tour still took longer than scheduled and, although we enjoyed it, the stress of getting back was very nerve-wracking. When we got back we were wanting to hurry back to the ship but the driver insisted on a picture with him. We then raced back down the pier and boarded at 3:20 (with a 3:30 on-board time) which was a very stressful way to end a day on a beautiful island.

Mailman made our day amazing! Tour was so informative, he made it fun and kept us on time. Loved our time in Grand Casse, beach was so beautiful, the pastries in Marigot were delicious but ending the day standing on Maho Beach under a landing Airbus 330 and trying to stay on our feet in the jet wash of an outgoing plane was an amazing way to end our day.

My husband and I booked this tour for a port of call, wanting something a little less "cattle call" than your typical cruise-sponsored excursions. Finding the meeting point was a challenge, but when I called for directions, I was ably talked all the way to the local tour center. (My only suggestion would be to give more specific instructions to the meeting place.) "Action Jackson" proved to be an able and entertaining guide, not just talking about what we were seeing, but also giving little tidbits about history and life on the island. We had plenty of time at each stop, had beverages offered while on the tour, and enjoyed AMAZING rum punch. Highly recommended!

Our family of 5 (all 19 and up), enjoyed this tour of St. Martin. We had a little trouble locating the meeting point but dock staff pointed us in the right direction. Waited for a bit in a tent with fans. Loaded into a small tour bus- but it was full. Once the tour started we enjoyed the commentary about the island from our driver. Tour offered cans of soda, beer, water, and rum punch (strong!). Driver stopped several places for pictures. The iguana stop (roadside stand where you can see, feed, and take pictures with iguanas) was our favorite. We headed for a beach but when driver saw lots of seaweed and big waves, he took us to another much better spot. Bar and restaurant on a beautiful beach. Had a lovely time here. Next we stopped at a shopping area. Then, it was on to the beach at the airport. Overall our least favorite but I know some people really want to see the planes. After the nice restaurant and beach stop before, this stop was meh. Beach was not as nice. We did not eat or drink here. But the staff did let us sit in the shade while waiting for a plane. Overall a good tour. Much longer than it said but we were fine with that. Got back to dock in plenty of time to shop and get onboard before all aboard time. Tour includes several options in one- tour of island, shopping, and beach time.

Action Jackson was a gracious, informative host/tour guide! You can tell he loves what he does and loves his island! Personally I would have preferred a shorter excursion but that had nothing to do with Action Jackson. Perhaps some of it was due to the unusual rainy weather...

This tour was amazing! Our guide DJ did a great job teaching us about the island while showing us the sights. He took us to a local restaurant where the food was delicious. He treated us like celebrities. We were relaxed and comfortable the entire time.

My husband and two adult daughters enjoyed this tour very much. The tour guide, the Mailman, was excellent and provided information and history of the island the entire time we were driving. He allowed us to have several photo stops along the way, including an opportunity to hold/pet iguanas by the roadside a gentleman had a slew of them ready for us to photograph and allowed volunteers to hold one - my daughter took advantage of that. The beach stop was very comfortable though we did have to pay an additional fee 20for two chairs and an umbrella. My printout said chairs were included but I didn't pursue that. We were a little disappointed that we did not see a plane take off at the last beach stop but we did see one land and were entertained by the spectacle of everyone gathering to experience being blown away by the jet exhaust. The Mailman had plenty of ice cold water, beer Caribe- very good local beer and rum punch. As much as you would want! Overall, the tour was a very good value for the money and we all highly recommend it!

We had read reviews about this tour prior to booking and were so very happy to have gotten The Mailman as our tour guide! Everything good thing everyone before us said about him was true! He was absolutely fabulous! He was so informative and knowledgeable about the island, and took us to the perfect spots for photos and fun! The bus was comfortable and air conditioned, he was easy to hear, and answered everyone's questions. His refreshments were perfect for everyone. We highly recommend this tour, and if you're lucky, you will get The Mailman as your tour guide, too!!

Would love to give this tour a 5 star, however, at the end of our trip we experienced an overwhelming amount of traffic which led to some rising stress levels that we would not make it back to our ship on time. Luckily, we did. There were 5 ships in port that day, so they need to allow extra time on the return portion of the trip. That being said, the trip itself was so fun. Our adults and teens loved it. Would recommend this to others!!! DJ ROCKS!!!

Our guide was named The Mailman, and he was fantastic. He was funny, insightful, and gave us a ton of interesting facts about the island. He had a cooler full of drinks for us and even had his own homemade rum punch. After the tour, he drove us to a building where we could get our passports stamped. Go on this tour and ask for The Mailman.
