We left late due to a payment issue they had with another family. As a result we were super rushed all day and also felt they didn’t manage time well. We only had one decent snorkel spot - creole rock and spent 25 min there not 45 like the itin noted. Then the water getting to Tintamare was extremely rough! By the time we got there and got in the water we had about 15 min. It was murky and no one was able to see anything. Then we went to Pinel and was told we had 10 min total so we didn’t even get off the boat :( Lunch was mediocre and then we spent far too long at the airport - 35 min. We ended up getting back 20 min late and had to run back to the port. We made it on the boat with 1 min to spare it was stressful. Staff was very friendly and gave good service on the boat but the day was rushed and disappointing overall.

Thank you very much for sending me the details and thank you for provided information and concerns.
The excursion advertised with 9 30 am check in 10 am departure and 4 pm return. We left the dock at minutes before 10 am and touch the dock back at 4pm sharp. Also please dont hold us responsible for what other guests are doing or not as we have sent the exact same confirmation for everyone. We can not be held responsible if guests are reading it properly or not. Your point about the departure would be on if the boat or the crew is not ready but that was not the case. For departure I attached the log book which is the reference for the st.maarten maritime department as for legal reasons.
In the logbook also transparent we have spent 40 minutes on creole rock 45 minutes on tintamarre and 40 minutes on pinel island.
If my informations are accurate the crew has to go and pick you up on tintamarre as you were snorkeling too far off from the boat and they needed to put that extra effort for yours and the passengers safety.
About you back pain , you were sitting on the back of the boat on the right side which is by far the most stable point of the boat in any kind of weather that particular boat extremely stable and is no way you could have any form of injury.
The lunch was served as advertised also if that was not for your taste we sincerely apologize for that , again the crew did n to mentioned anything for someone did not liked the food.
I took note of that boat stayed 40 minutes for watching planes and I agree with you that way to long there . They could have left earlier or provided alternative stop.

Trip was my favorite tour! It probably had something to do with Johan who was a historian with phenomenal info. Lucas was the best navigating tough waters to make it a smooth ride! Seriously these two are WOW! We got great snorkeling, Amazing lunch and back to port with everyone smiling and having a great time! Highly recommended!!!!

It’s a full day that includes lunch. They are very attuned to making sure you return on time so there is no problem with missing your ship. If your captain is Junior and first mate is Damien you are in for a great time.

Great Trip this was my second time loved it!!! Took us to four places plus lunch we'll worth the the money. Did not see to many fish when snorkeling but it was still a great trip. Kept the rum pinch and bear flowing. Captains were great very personal. Great host show us the airport with the planes flying over head. Got on the boat quickly

This was a such a fantastic and memorable excursion! The 2nd snorkeling spot was amazing with lots of fish! The food at lunch was delicious! And we had the best captain! Captain Damian turned the boat around to retrieve a fellow traveler’s cap that blew off! Who does that?
And I had the most fun group in the boat with me, and we became a big happy family by the end of the day! 10/10 recommend!

Great experience and I highly recommend it! The snorkeling wasn’t great, but the water absolutely was. Captain and crew were extremely informative and entertaining. The barbecue lunch was fantastic! And don’t get me started on the rum punch!😊

Viator gave me a LOT incorrect information regarding this excursion. They had me book 2 separate excursions for our group of 14 (2 groups of 7) and 1 of the 2 was "amended" by Viator (without my knowledge). We showed up at this excursion and Billy Bones only had 1/2 our reservation accounted for, despite full payment being made over a week in advance and tickets being provided by Viator. The Billy Bones company pulled together some last-minute changes to make it possible for our whole group to go. I highly encourage you to book directly through the Billy Bones company rather than Viator. The weather was bad. Pouring rain. Obviously this is out of everyone's control. Billy Bones company made some adjustments (had to change 2 of the stops and cancel the lunch stop) so that we could still have an excursion, however, it was just too much rain and too cold for anyone to enjoy it. We got about 1 hour of our 6-hour excursion and we called it quits. Instead of offering all the alternatives I really wish they would have offered us the option to cancel with a partial refund. It was $1800 for 14 people and a 1-hour cold rainy miserable excursion. Billy Bones company did what they could to accommodate and were good to work with, the weather really just made this a bust for us. I have not yet contacted Viator with my complaints, but plan on doing so.

Yes my palms are started to sweating when you said its 7 of you and we did not see the reservation in our booking system. Fortunatly we were able to swing the boats around and your group was able to have a private charter kudos to us. About the weather you are correct it was challenging as tempreture was low and pouring rain. we did our best as always. if i remember correctly, the request from you group was after the snorkeling to drop off the kids back on the marina as they were cold and then we continue down to the airport and beach but yet all of you left which in understandible under the circumstances. Your group did not mentioned anything about refund on the spot and we did not have any official requests for Viator neither therefore we dont understand why are you placing a 3 star review here once you stated Billy Bones did everything fine.

We went to 3 dive spots! Saw green sea turtles, octopus, tons of tropical fish and coral coming back. Expect to get a little wet. The lunch was delicious, fresh and local!! Highly recommend this trip!!

Book this today without hesitation! Such a fun way to see the island and check SO MANY things off your bucket list. Jad and Flo were the absolute best captains. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and full of fun. Highlights besides cruising in the ocean wee swimming with sea turtles and a fantastic lunch.

Captain Jab and First Mate Flo were excellent tour guides. What a great way to see St Maarten/Sint Martin from a different perspective. Snorkeling stops were very nice, and lunch at the Lolo’s was delicious as always!

Our Captain Sammy and his First Mate Thomas looked after us from start to end. With having good weather we were able to go round the whole island. We saw turtles on our 1st snorkel stop and loads of fish at our 2nd stop. We did a beach stop where we saw plenty of iguanas. We also stopped for a delicious barbecued lunch served at a local restaurant were food and staff are all local. Drinks were served throughout the trip. Our final stop was out at sea from the airport where the planes went over our boat. Highly recommend this trip.

Our Captain Jhad and co-captain Flo were amazing! The seas were a little rough but our captain had it under control. We stopped at great areas-beaches, snorkeling, lunch and Maho beach with planes flying over. We missed all the traffic on the island and had a great full day out on the water. Perfect excursion for cruisers.
Pickup at the gazebo on the dock was simple, a short walk. We had forgotten about the additional $6/per person charge which was a surprise (cash only) but looking back the trip was worth it.
The crew continued to serve drinks the entire time, we had such a great experience. We were traveling with a group ranging in age from 15-75 years old. My parents in their 70's are in good shape but this is a more strenuous trip for older people or people with physicial limitations. There will be jumping off the boat into the water to get onto the beach to walk to lunch and jumping out of the back of the boat into the water to swim and snorkel and get yourself back out of the water on a swim step.
When booking this trip be kind to the other people on your trip and show up on time! We had a family that was running late and therefore we had to change the order of our trip to be able to pick them up from an alternate location, it was inconsiderate to the other people on the excursion.

Excellent excursion, plenty of rum punch, beer and sodas if you want them. Some nice stops and snorkelling. Not all the stops as planned because of the weather which is unavoidable and the restaurant lunch ended up being sandwiches on board because of the weather. No swimming with turtles. Not sure we got full value for money but Nacho and Junior were great fun and I’d still recommend the trip.

Great day on the water! Seas were rough so our itinerary was tweaked a bit. Didn’t feel as if we missed out on anything. The captain found calm water for us to swim and snorkel. Boat was smooth through waves and kids loved it. Really enjoyed our day!

I will always remember the kind and helpful captain, snorkeling near Creole Rock, watching the planes land at Maho Beach while in the boat, the super delicious lunch of barbecue ribs, chicken or fish at a popular restaurant and the friendly people on board.

We have been on multiple cruises with excursions all over the Caribbean. This was our favorite so far. We had such good luck with beautiful weather. Our Captain, Jim and first mate, Damion made our experience something we will never forget. They went above and beyond. They were so knowledgeable, and anticipated each one of our needs. I would go again and again. Do yourself a favor and don’t hesitate to book. Added bonus, we got a hot lunch with authentic Caribbean cuisine. Thanks guys!

This was absolutely one of the best and most relaxing excursions I have ever been on! Not only was CJ and Franco awesome! They were both so informative and proud of this island! I would recommend taking this trip to anyone who has 6 to 8 hours to spare because it will truly change and invigorate your life! The cleanest, clearest water in the Caribbean and by the way we got to witness sea turtles eating grass and enjoyed their company in their natural habitat! We absolutely loved it! Captain Sam is the best!! He made our adventure fun and exciting. He made you feel like you were is long time friend and not just a paying customer. He has awesome knowledge of the places we went to. The local food we had for lunch was delicious. If I get the chance to come back to St Marteen we are definitely looking Captain Sam up again!!
