Amazing day on March 14th. Guides were super friendly, Elias navigated the big waves expertly, and we saw turtles, many fish, planes landing and gorgeous beaches! This is the way to see St Maarten

A pleasant day with a few great highlights, some so so stuff, and a stop we could have done without.
The highlights, definitely stopping at Pinel Island, great scenery and place to hang out, spending a full day there would have been cool. We also enjoyed pulling the boat as close as we could to Maho Beach to watch the planes fly overhead and land - the crew worked hard to make sure we got the full experience. Also enjoyed cruising through the lagoon, was a chill way to see the swanky side of things.
The so-so stuff would be the first snorkeling stop (don't recall the name), the snorkeling here was average at best and better than any other snorkeling on the tour.
Definitely could have done without the stop to Ila Tintamarre, once you get around the north end of St. Martin and in the open water, the conditions were brutal with very rough seas. Once we got there, not much to see, the water was not clear enough for decent snorkeling and the (very average) beach was a pretty good swim from the boat.
The crew was good, but the boat captain did not speak good English so he was hard to understand. His helper was a young guy that was a local and his insights were great, did not seem like he was very experienced.
Overall, we hoped for better snorkeling out of this trip, so kind of disappointing, but not a bad way to spend a day in the Caribbean overall.

This was an amazing experience. Alex and Darian were incredible hosts. We were traveling with two older people one of which has mobility issues. Alex and Darian were able to help our family member get in and out of the boat.
The places we stopped were so fun. Food and beverages were plentiful. Both hosts gave us information about the islands.
I HIGHLY recommend this excursion. The boat and snorkeling equipment were super clean. There were only about 20 passengers which was perfect for the size boat. Loved this!!

Absolutely incredible experience with 5 Stops Crystal Speed Boat Tours. From start to finish, the tour was flawless. The water was unreal. Crystal clear, vibrant, and some of the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen. Every stop felt like a postcard come to life.
What really made the experience unforgettable was the boat driver and tour guide. Hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made everyone feel comfortable, kept the energy high, and shared great insights throughout the tour while making sure we had an amazing time.
This tour was the highlight of our trip and something we would 100 percent do again. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Book it. You won’t regret it.

This was one of the best excursions we ever took. Captain Alex was awesome—friendly, safe, informative! It ended up just being us and one other couple and it felt like a private tour. Four stops for swimming and snorkeling, lunch, drinks and snacks onboard and a stop to watch a flew planes land. We went around the whole island and the views were amazing. A good solid 6hours out on the water and it was totally worth it!

Pros: The speed boat was fun. The snorkeling was good. Definitely saw sea turtles and saw them well. The second snorkeling location was merely ok with some fish and a few other things. Did not expect to get a boat tour around the island, but it was very welcome and very informative. Crew was funny and nice.
Cons: went to a local restaurant which took forever to get our food. This seriously cut into the tour time. By the time we got to the beach with the airport, the planes had already passed and we did not get to watch them land, so we skipped that stop entirely. Considering that watching the airplanes land is the most unique and iconic experience in st maarten, this was a big loss.

What a great outing! Excellent snorkeling. The crew Ashton and Captain Pascal were super cool and nice and funny. Took us to a great local restaurant. Probably our funnest day on our vacation. Totally recommend doing this. Remember to bring cash with you!

The guys on the boat are great, and the speedboat ride is a blast — although I would caution that it’s definitely not for people who have back problems. Snorkeling in St. Martin isn’t as good as in Aruba or Bonaire, but if you go with the expectation that the water off St. Martin won’t be the clearest, you’ll have a great time.

What an amazing day!!! The day started a little stressful as ship time was different than island time. We were able to communicate and got immediate responses saying no worries and they would wait. Everyone on this excursion was from the ships so they were extremely accommodating! The speed boat was more than we imagined. We road the waves at high speeds and it was so much fun. They took us to 5 favorite hot spots with plenty of time. Fed us well and all you can drink. Everyone said it was the best day ever! Would definitely do this again and recommend over and over again!

Captain Thomas and crew gave us a great excursion. We snorkeled with Turtles then moved to a reef with many colored fish. We could jump off the sides of the boat and not have to wait to climb down the single ladder.
We had sandwiches and chips for an easy lunch but had anchored at a beach where you could get something else if you preferred.
We saw both the French and Dutch sides of the island with descriptions of what we were looking at. Coming back to port we stopped to watch planes take off and land overhead.
Our grandson claims going FAST over the waves was the best part of the day.
We highly recommend this excursion for families that like getting into the water.

Fantastic trip, Captain Junior and Johan made sure we got the most fun out of the day, they were very friendly and professional. Great snorkeling stops as well as a great beach, also got lots of information about the island. Lovely lunch in a local owned and run restaurant on the beach. The boat was very smart and fast and the snorkeling equipment very new. Easy walk from cruise port to start the trip. If you like a day on and in the water this is the one to do.
