This was easily the most economical and punctual option we found to get from Sorrento to Naples early in the morning to catch a 9am flight back to the US. Before our scheduled pickup date, I had asked some questions and received prompt replies. I also received several confirmations and clear communications leading up to the pickup date. On the pickup date, we met at the pre-determined location and there were two other parties which shared the ride with us. There was plenty of room in the travel shuttle for passengers and luggage in the back. We left on time and there were no glitches in the journey. We arrived in plenty of time to our flight out of Naples. This turned out to be a great option in our overall travel itinerary because flying out of Naples was so much easier than travelling out of Rome. Our next trip to Italy will most likely end in the Amalfi area and we will absolutely use this service again to get to the Naples airport for the same early morning flight.

This service was booked with pick-up very near our hotel. Received communication that pick-up was changed to further location. Made it very confusing and time consuming to straighten out for pick-up at original location.
Ride was fine but get good confirmation on pick-up.

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that our pickup point was never at your hotel, but at the designated meeting point, which is listed on your voucher. Unfortunately, Viator shows your hotel name because it’s required in the form, but the actual meeting point is always fixed and written in the booking confirmation.
We understand this caused confusion, and we continue asking Viator to clarify this for customers.

Showed in photo small van and it was a bus. Promised direct service and stopped for others several times. Two hour trip should have been no more than 1.5 hours.

Thank you for your comment. Just to clarify: this was a shared shuttle, not a private transfer, so multiple stops are part of the service. This is stated clearly on all our booking platforms.
Regarding the vehicle: we use minibuses or vans depending on the number of passengers. Sometimes, especially in high season, a larger van or small bus is used to ensure everyone's seat.
The 2-hour travel time reflects traffic conditions, which are unpredictable on the Amalfi Coast.

Our driver was very friendly and safe. Got us to the airport with time to spare. Pick up was detailed and easy to find as well as close to where we stayed. About a 6-7 minute walk.

Advertised as a 1 to 1 hour 20 minute ride. Ended up being 2 hours due to unexpected stops at the train station. Driver was very nice and car was comfortable however, timing was not as advertised.

We took the train from Naples to Sorrento, but decided because of an early morning flight, to do the shuttle for the return trip. Getting dropped at departures was very helpful.

The actual transfer ride from Sorrento to Naples airport was good with Seahorse Car Service; however, the email communication was terrible. This transfer was booked 2 months in advance and the pickup at our hotel was confirmed. 24 hours prior to transfer, Viator sent a different meeting point location in an email notification and Seahorse car service did not reconfirm pickup location at the hotel. So we went to the WRONG location that Viator sent because it specifically said “NO DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE” and gave a different address that was a 15 min walk away from hotel. Thank goodness, Seahorse called within 10 minutes of scheduled pickup and arrived promptly to pick us up. The communication was very confusing as Viator sets up transport through another company, Seahorse. It would have been better if Viator would have directed us to Seahorse Car Service instead of sending us the WRONG location. It was stressful as we were headed to the Naples airport.

To clarify, your booking through Viator indicated 5 passengers, and we personally exchanged messages with you prior to the transfer to confirm the pickup at Hotel Central, which was acknowledged. On the day of the service, our driver found 3 out of 5 passengers waiting at a different location near a public bus stop; not at the agreed meeting point nor the default meeting point.
Unfortunately, automated notifications from Viator do not always reflect the final arrangements made directly with the local provider, and this can understandably cause stress. This is why we always recommend replying directly to our confirmation messages, which include the exact pickup point based on your accommodation.
