Disappointing tour

Guide didn’t appear to have detailed knowledge of the cathedral construction. Gave general information. When some of the small group were climbing the tower there was no involvement with the remaining members. She seemed most interested in telling us of her family and friends and the Columbus tombs. Very hard to hear her in noisy building without audio systems. Very expensive small group tour.

misleading information - no entrance tickets

Searching for online tickets for the cathedral of Seville, we booked 5 tickets for this tour. After the confirmation of the buying, it appeared that these tickets did not include the entrance permit to the cathedral. And the entrance tickets could only be bought for a time slot beyond our stay. So I wasted a lot of money for nothing! Very misleading information!

We booked at short notice, the night before, we were met on time by Marina who is very knowledgeable and interesting. Don't go without a guide! We learnt so much about things that we would have otherwise walked past. The best!

Our guide Guadaloupe was absolutely tremendous. Wednesdays in early February must be rather slow days in Sevilla, so m y wife, my Mom and I were lucky to have Guadaloupe all to ourselves. Not only for the Cathedral tour but before on the Alcazar tour. Both were especially great for my Mom 89 yrs old on her first trip ever outside of the U.S. and in a wheelchair. Guadaloupe went out of her way to ensure that Mom had access to as many of the key sights in both the Alcazar and the Cathedral. My wife and I have used Viator on many trips Zurich, Rome, Prague, Budapest, Paris, Washington DC, and others, but these two tours in Sevilla were the best buys for the money EVER!!!
