The places we visited were nice, but the tour offered a guide and she did not go with us anywhere, acted just as a driver
We could not find a restaurant we were supposed to go to because she just left us at the market

Excellent one day highlight tour of Seoul. We packed a lot into one day and it was worth it. From scenic overview look outs to wandering the Palace, seeing Insadong and enjoying the uniqueness of Seoul. The lunch was a chicken bbq and that was delicious and enjoyed the experience of cooking lunch. Don was an great tour guide giving us lots of insights into the culture and history of Korea.

Andy was our guide to the DMZ. He was prompt and courteous. He even helped maneuver and accommodate a last minute add. He explained the difficulty of adding my mother to the tour given the limited number of visitors allowed to the site. Yet, he worked the entire time to make it happen and it did happen! We learned so much from Andy about both South and North Korea. Our questions were endless and yet he was patient and thoughtful with all of his answers. He was so knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We very much enjoyed our visit with him and would recommend this tour to anyone to wants to learn about the conflict and the history of these two regions.

We have booked a day tour in Seoul to see all the interesting places in a short time. We had limited time so the tour we chose was the most suitable. Everything was organised well and without any complications: pick up from hotel, tickets, transfer from one location to another, control the timing etc.

We had an excellent time on our long layover in Seoul with our private tour. Sangwan was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgable. We were able to see all the attractions/sights that we were most interested in. We requested to start the day an hour early and Sangwan was able to accommodate. Prior to our arrival, we were in constant contact with Harry, This is Korea's travel consultant, to customizable our tour, where we were meeting, how to stay in contact once we arrived, etc. We were in great hands from beginning to end, now our daughter wants to plan for a trip with her family with these guys. We would highly recommend This is Korea tours to anyone visiting Seoul and looking for an awesome experience. We had an amazing day with our guide Kory, who made sure everything was perfect. Since we had specific things we were interested in, we wanted to do the fully customizable tour so that we could have flexibility in preparing the itinerary to our preferences. The travel agency and tour guide made this very easy to do and did an excellent job customizing it to our liking. We saw the Blue House, multiple palaces and the secret garden, Insadong for some brief shopping and dinner followed by a moonlit river cruise. If we came back, we’d definitely book with the same tour company again as everything was fantastic. Kory, our guide, was very knowledgeable, spoke great English, and was attentive and made sure we saw all the highlights. He was also a great driver and the car was very spacious and comfortable. Definitely don’t hesitate to book this private and customizable tour on your visit to Seoul.

Fantastic tour overall!! John, our guide/driver was attentive and professional. He was flexible and made sure that our family of 5 had a fun and busy day exploring the city. Because it was our second time in the city, he made sure to visit all the attractions and highlights, both popular, and off the beaten path, as requested. Instead of the N soul tower, we visited the Lotte world tower as per our request. We enjoyed lunch with him and had a great day together. I would highly recommend John and this tour overall!!!

This company was truly amazing. They gave me advice and options in advance and we worked on a truly customized tour. No need for individual tours, you can do it ALL with them! Seoul is a huge place and we saw all that we wanted to. Could take our time because they are good planners. Our guide Andy was really wonderful. He was genuinely interested in our needs. Great communication with Albert during the planning process. He customized and planned the itinerary based on our feedback of preferences. We appreciated the flexibility of changing the schedule due to weather conditions.
We had the best tour guide ever! Jay contacted us ahead of time to introduce himself and to set pick-up details from our hotel.
We had a full day of fun, sightseeing, laughter, and delicious food. Jay is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; ensuring that we didn’t miss any highlights along the way. We visited Gangchon Rail Park, Santorini Cafe (gorgeous views), and Nami island. Jay also found a great restaurant for lunch, we were delighted with the place!
This was definitely our favorite day in Korea!! Thank you Jay for such an amazing day and for taking awesome pictures and videos :)

Matt was a great guide! We had very little in mind other than ziplining to Nami Island and going to the fish market - he not only arranged those for us, but also took us to a few other locations along the way that we never would have thought of. He was extremely patient with us, and allowed us to wander as long as needed/wanted. I highly recommend him as a tour guide, and would definitely hire him again if I return to Seoul!

Our guide Matt was efficient as he arrived earlier than the appointed time to discuss the day's itinerary. We were very pleased that he even started the tour early because we were really excited for our first time visit and couldn't wait to get going. He was very obliging as we wanted to visit as many attractions as we can because we were only staying for a short time. it was impressive that he managed to give us a tour of Changdeokgung palace even when there wasn't any parking space available for the van that we were travelling in. He kept the long ride to Nami Island interesting by conversing with us about the country's culture and history. At first we were a little bit disappointed that we just missed the cherry blossom season but like a magician, Matt drove us to a location where the flowers were still in bloom. He provided for us first-class service to N Seoul Tower we skipped the bus or cable car rides and the walk up the hill. Even after we had finished seeing all the planned sights, he added a bonus by showing us around Myeongdong.
