The app does not give you adequate warning before turns. Additionally, it does not provide very much history or information. We used a similar app in Iceland, which was much better.

Clunky interface. Not flexible. Didn’t work as download- had to have cell signal. We read some history of places and that’s about all we used it for. SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE THIS! Can’t even believe you charge for it. Don’t recommend

It seems there may have been some confusion about how our app works. Let me clarify a few points: We clearly state in our instructions that tours should be downloaded in advance while connected to WiFi. This ensures you have all the content ready to go before arriving at the site. Once a tour is downloaded, you don't need an internet connection to use it. The app is designed to work offline after the initial download. If you tried to download the tour on-site without an internet connection, that unfortunately wouldn't work. The initial download does require internet access. We strive to provide value to all our users and apologize that we fell short in your case. Your input helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Very interesting self guided driving tour! Lots of history and facts about the Isle of Slye. Easy to use and follow. Bit of a shame is that the phone app didn‘t connect with the car navigation system, but we just followed the phone, so no problem. A few turns were announced a bit late, which caused some uncontrolled driving Be aware that there are a few hour long hikes in this itinerary, we started at 10.00, that‘s too late so we skipped the Quaraing and just did the 10 min walk at the Fairy Glen. If you want to do the Fairy Pools, this is in another self-guided tour from Trippy, not in this one

We will not use Trippy again.

Fighting the application when it died half way through the tour. The app stopped giving directions, but we didn't know until we had missed a turn. Most of the talking was just telling us to stop where parking lots were. It also told me to stay in the right lane, but that is wrong here in the UK.

Dear Ivan, We clearly mentioned in our email to download the tour before leaving, as network coverage on the Isle of Skye is limited. If the tour had been downloaded, this problem would not have occurred. Regarding the lane directions, our instruction to stay in the right lane referred to a single pass-by lane where only one car can go at a time because a right turn was required. Also, you can always contact our support team for immediate assistance. We would have been happy to help resolve the issue or provide a refund if it couldn't be fixed. We hope we can serve you better on your next trip.

Able to bring us to point a to b however could not sync with google map. However product is able to brings us to nice breath taking view.

Really good concept, handy that it can be downloaded beforehand for when phone signal disappears. Full of great information and even a few hidden spots we would have missed otherwise. Only complaint is that by the time it tells you to turn you have already gone past the junction, so you have to really watch the screen for upcoming prompts of you end up having to turn around.
